I know most people are, but I'm definitely a place that will wind me over if they've got bottomless fries they just absolutely big baskets. This place we always get a full order of their loaded fries and they always tried quite a few. I think the blue cheese and the poutine are our favorite. The poutine has a very good gravy now normally people slap any kind of gravy on and call it a day and for me a sub standard gravy will absolutely ruin the french fries. Luckily, the person working, there was super nice, and when I asked him his personal opinion on it, he ran back, grabbed a few french fries and a little bit of gravy to give us a try super cool Also, they got really good beer, selection, and sours and other fun things like that. This is one of the few places that I've had such unique over the top original kind of drinks. I really mean just I can't even describe to you until you look at their list there's just stuff you could never imagine. I will say this is something that we have written down before to try to find when we traveled back up north. Always laid-back always clean always easy parking. It's a no-brainer and they have a great happy hour.

We don't get that vibe in Redmond. In Bend we used to get a little bowl of bread Cubes and a small sampler dish of their homemade chimichurri that they were so proud of, and we loved. They don't do that in Redmond, not sure if they still do so in Bend... I think we've given Redmond 3 chances but staff are pretty indifferent, and the food doesn't wow us anymore. The brats and bangers are still good, but we feel it's not totally worth the prices anymore. Last time we were in Redmond location the women's restroom was out of tp. I told the staff twice and they were not busy, scrolling on their phones in between customers and they never re-stocked the to in the restroom.

We have been going in once a week or so for a little over a year now since my wife was diagnosed with a medical condition requiring frequent trips to Bend. We have worked our way through many of the menu items and never had a meal that was not good. Same for the drinks. It's our go to spot now and unless something changes, it will remain that way. We ordered three meals (salad, fries, burger, fajita bowl) and were waiting patiently when a group of two sat down well after we ordered. One of the line cooks literally came out of the kitchen, took their order directly, went back, made their food, and brought it out to them. They were very clearly friends or family of the employee. While I totally get wanting to take care of your people, their food came out 10-15 minutes before ours did. Using your position in the kitchen to completely skip the line and delay paying customers who ordered ahead of time just isn't right. We don't mind a wait, but we do mind blatant favoritism disrupting the ticket flow. Otherwise, our was really attentive, and the food was delicious.

But maybe that runs the bar and the cash register provided amazing customer service. They also have it ton of beers on tap like 44 or do. I got my eggs , sausage and hashbrowns but the toast did not arrive yet and the same for the biscuits and gravy. I asked the waiter and he went and got them along with another persons toast. Our first impression was that there was no place to sit; however, a couple that was reserving six seats told that we could join them because one of the couples was a no show. The band was loud and the acoustics were good for live music. The wait staff was very good especially considering the crowd. I ordered a small Supreme Pizza and my wife ordered a BLT. The pizza was good; but, not good enough that I would go back just to eat another one. My wife liked her BLT. I am not a fan of skinny fries. They were ok, with ketchup, while warm and failed the Good-While-Cold Test. We will watch the Silverleaf Cafe website for live music and try other items from the menu.
