I wasn't excepting much from a pub when one of my bff's said she wanted to go there for dinner after our yard sale but oh boy was I wrong. We each had the California Salad. I was in Redmond for the night visiting my cousin and his wife and they took me to this establishment. We did not eat there as we had just come from another restaurant and we were there just for drinks and listening to live music. My cousin had told me that he and his wife really enjoy coming here and I can see why. There's a very fun vibe here . We got a table right up next to the side of the stage so we could really be part of the the action and feel the music. We . ordered drinks and they had a new band play there for the first time and they were fantastic. They sang a lot of great cover songs from the 80s that we all knew and sang along with , and they even sang an original song that the lead singer and his father had written . As they are finishing up that song, the singers, elderly father and mother had just walked into the pub to listen, and so the band played the song again for his father it was a really cool moment! My cousin introduced me to the owner, Vance, and he is very genuine and down to earth cool. The fine young lady bartenders were super nice and helpful and were always a pleasure to interact with. I think when I go back to visit my cousin and his wife again, I'm definitely requesting that we go back to the Clock Tower pub! read more

The service from the staff, especially Kaci, because she is usually there when stop in in the afternoon, is great. We have been going in once a week or so for a little over a year now since my wife was diagnosed with a medical condition requiring frequent trips to Bend. We have worked our way through many of the menu items and never had a meal that was not good. Same for the drinks. It's our go to spot now and unless something changes, it will remain that way. What a great pub experience!! Probably the best pub experience in Redmond. They have all the sports events on TV or you can ask the management to change a TV screen. Plenty of seating on both sides of pub. The staff is quick and fast along with a good sized food menu. They also have live music playing classic rock and they were Amazing!! read more

I was not feeling like cooking dinner tonight and my wife suggested that we try Clock Tower Pub. A quick check on Google Maps showed that the pub was easy to get to. Unfortunately, I drove right past the pub because I did not see the signs. There was plenty of easy parking almost in front of the door. First impression was that this is one of those friendly neighborhood pubs. We picked a table by the window in the pool room. The two young women that served us were excellent. I ordered a happy hour mixed drink and Halibut & Chips. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We both asked for fry sauce with our meals. I was able to try a little bit of my wife's excellent burger. I would not hesitate to get one for myself next time we are there. There are a couple more places that I want to try; but, so far, the Halibut & Chip is the best that I have enjoyed in Redmond. The tartar sauce had just the right amount to tang. I forgot to ask for malt vinegar; but, the halibut was very good without it. Whoever was working in the kitchen knows how to cook fries! The fry sauce make these fries very, very good. read more

Taco Tuesday! My waitress came to take my order right away. I ordered a shrimp taco and a halibut taco. For both tacos it was only $8.00. The halibut and shrimp are both battered and fried. Served with coleslaw inside. That was plenty of food for me. My waitress was attentive and pleasant. There's music playing which isn't too loud. Update 10/23 - After giving CTP another try and having a so-so experience, I decided to go there for dinner tonight. Got home late, didn't want to cook. I am sad to say it was terrible. We sat down at a table and waited for a while. Eventually, the cook came over to clean a table near us and asked if we needed menus. She was a little surly (wanted us to know she wasn't our waitress) and we tried joking with her. She said she would send our server over to take our order which she did and she did. And the cook brought us drinks. My friend ordered a french dip and I had the turkey club. The cook brought our food out and I had ordered ranch for my fries which wasn't on the plate. She set the food down and was going to walk away without asking if we needed anything so I quickly asked for ranch. She didn't say anything. Just walked away and got me some ranch. Set it down and didn't say anything. I'm sorry, but to me as a customer, that tells me she was annoyed. Maybe she wasn't, but not saying "sure, let me get that for you" or "here you go; do you need anything else" says otherwise. I typically don't complain about the foood here. It is reasonably priced, usually pretty good, and I feel like my expectations are realistic. I didn't say anything to my friend, but every bite of my sandwich I got a big mouthful of mayo. It was actually oozing out from the holes in the bread. Some bites were just all mayo. I wasn't really even sure if there was turkey in there between the cheese and the mayo. Then my friend asked me to try the meat from the French dip. I did, and immediately spit it out. I don't know how they made it through almost the whole sandwich. It was super dry and almost like eating wood chips. I assume the meat is frozen and/or cooked from frozen. It was really bad. My friend had finished all their iced tea trying to choke down this sandwich, but we never saw our waitress again. I had to get my own to-go box and we had to go to the bar to pay. Watching our server, it appeared to me that she was either very new to the job or very new at bartending/serving. Or maybe both. There weren't a lot of people in the bar, but she was struggling to keep up. She was very nice though. So, after giving clock tower two more tries, I have to say they have a lot of work to do. And like others have posted, maybe a slight remodel. I noticed tonight that the back of the booth was ripped open at the seam. Just little thing like that say to me that the owners/managers don't take a lot of pride in their business. I will probably go back some day, but it definitely won't be my regular spot like it was before. Like everyone, they said they were having staffing issues and had worked through them. So, I gave them another try a couple of weeks ago. They have definitely solved their staffing issues. There were two, maybe three servers on when I was there at around 5 on a weeknight. I can't say if the food has gotten better or worse. The one thing that was my favorite menu item, the Bleu Cheeseburger, is no longer on the menu. So I had my back up go to, a chicken salad. It was about he same as I remembered. Done a little differently, but overall the same salad. It didn't have the same welcoming vibe it did before, but that might be because we didn't know anyone. Before, they knew us and it was always nice to see the waitress. But, the crowd didn't seem as rowdy at the bar, which was nice. Sometimes it would be so loud in there from the people drinking too much and trying to talk over each other, that you couldn't have a conversation over dinner 20 feet away. Could have just been that night, but that was a nice change. I hope that they are doing better and I might give it another shot to try something else. Still super disappointed my burger isn't on the menu anymore. They only other place I could get one was at Redmond Burger but their prices are so outrageous now, I am not paying $20+ for a hamburger. Was staying In Redmond for work for 6 months. Clocktower was convenient and the food was great. After a dozen or so times of coming in having a drink or two and getting carry out a fellow patron pointed out his bill being overcharged. At that I looked at mine. Sure enough I had been ordering a mule or two each time. She was charging me $8 for the bourbon, $1.25 for the ginger beer (each time even though she only cracked one can to make between 1 or 3 mixed drinks), and then the $8 or so price for the mixed drink . So charged for the mixed drink and then charged individually for the drink in parts. Then i would tip well. I guess it's on me for trusting and not inspecting my receipt. Kitchen is great service and management are lacking. I'd go back for a good meal but watch your recipes. I probably overpaid well over $100 within a few stops read more

This restaurant and bar is open again for indoor dining. We enjoyed this place before covid closed them down. They have re-opened and have the same menu they had before covid shut them down. We had Halibut and Shrimp meals. Just as before the Halibut is outstanding. The Shrimp is good. They have closed the backroom gambling area. Not sure if it will ever be opened. One of the best places to grab lunch or dinner in Redmond Oregon. A friend, Scott, called and wanted to meet for lunch. We got to the Clocktower about 11:30 on Friday, July 26th. Our order was taken quickly and drinks (sodas) arrived fast. I ordered the special Fried Chicken Salad and Scott had the Fried turkey club sandwich. The food was great! The new owner, Vance, was there and was super friendly. If you are looking for a real Gem in Redmond for lunch or dinner, you really should try this place. I ordered a bacon cheese burger for my son and they had it ready to go quickly. Food is high quality and a great value. (Which takes my to my rant about most restaurants... We arrived after 6pm to have dinner.. my son, his girlfriend and I. (Keep in mind we have been going to clock tower for YEARS) We usually do Sunday brunch, but we went for dinner instead. My son went to the bathroom when we arrived, and his girlfriend and I sat down in a booth. Waiting for him to return before placing an order, we were served 2 sprites - and the server carded his girlfriend (who is 32, and only order a sprite) I was not carded or asked for my ID at all!!! My son returned from the bathroom and she asked for his ID and he hasn't even ordered yet. (WE WERE NOT ORDERING ANY ALCOHOL EITHER) He left his ID at home (he is also 31) - the server then proceeds to let my son know he has to LEAVE by 7pm because he didn't have his ID with him... REALLY!??? Just wanted burgers & soda and your telling me if we are not done eating or chatting he has to leave by 7pm?? After her attitude we got up and left!! They also have a computerized "jukebox" (not really a jukebox) so we could also pick out some music for our time there. Very laid back place which I like. Friendly bartenders. Went to get the halibut fish and chips that I crave. What are they thinking? They had such a good thing. The halibut pieces where very small and fried with nothing on it. This is a tricky review to write. Clock Tower Pub is the best local place to go for good, dependable food, but ... the atmosphere is more than a little ... lacking. It's a fairly undiscovered joint, so I hesitate to let people know about it, mostly because I want to make sure our booth is always available for us when we get there. Throwing caution to the wind, here's a head's up on Clock Tower Pub. Clock Tower Pub is located just off the on/off-ramp across from Home Depot in Redmond. There isn't a lot of advertising to get you there, and the little mall it's located in is pretty obscure. When you walk into the place it feels like you're in a bowling alley or a 'sports bar' in need of some serious design tips. The bottom line is; it's a neighborhood joint and it's closest neighbor is a liquor store, if you don't count the fitness gym on the other side. The draw for some folks is the pool tables, beer and games (including lottery), and beer (did I say that already?), but for some of us, it's the food. Really. When I mention that it reminds me of people who only read girlie magazines for 'the articles' ... but seriously, it's the food. Here's a confession: We live in the neighborhood. We don't go to the liquor store (very often) and we never (never!) go to the gym, but we're constantly returning to this strip mall to go to Clock Tower Pub for their sandwiches, fried clams, burgers, hot dogs and ... chips. The chips are killer! The fries are okay, but skip those whenever you can and order the chips. You'll be glad you did, and if you're a hot dog fan, you can't go wrong. So, will you find healthy food at the Clock Tower Pub? Probably not, but the sandwiches they make are wholesome and pretty good -- although they do need to invest in some better bread products (and did I mention the chips?). The fried clams are really extraordinary, or they have been the couple of times that I've order them. It's hard to explain, but they're uniquely fresh -- not like those rubbery things you get at most dive bars or chain restaurants. The fish and chips aren't bad either and more recently they have added soups to the menu. But no matter what you order it will arrive at your table steaming hot and ready to eat. My dining partner tends to order a lot of salads, and he really likes the selection of salads offered at this place, but since I'm writing this review I have to tell you -- the salads are not particularly glamorous, but they are fresh and piled high with a variety of fresh toppings. What's the service like you ask? Well, I'd have to say they're pretty on-the-spot, not over-the-top friendly, but they're there when you need them and they're quick to respond. My advice? Don't let the atmosphere put you off ... and don't sit too close to the kitchen (it's a wonder how such good food can come out of that hole-in-the wall, but it does ...). And if you feel like a dive bar is too much of a stretch for your Bendite pub fetish, just consider it a social experiment and give it a try, but save the third booth in for us. read more

Zero stars zero stars zero stars... save yourself the trouble and just burn your money. Waited 1 1/2 hours for two cheeseburgers to go that were prepared extremely poorly. Cook quit and left our food just sitting there and a nice bartender finally retrieved it but I am honestly afraid to eat it after seeing a disgruntled employee leave and seeing the lack of care by the employees. I would have left well earlier but I had already paid and the bartender was so nice I felt bad asking for a refund. Severely disappointed and disgusted with the experience at this local establishment. Do not go here you will be better off. This is by far my favorite bar in Redmond, now. I even have a favorite bartender: Becky, you're awesome. There's almost always a pool table open on weeknights and so far most people are pretty friendly. The food is decent, pretty standard bar fare but good burgers and I always salivate when someone orders a huge plate of nachos. There's also darts, shuffleboard, plenty of seating, an Oregon Ducks theme with a little bit of Beavs thrown in for good measure (check out the bathrooms), and a completely overpriced Jukebox. I took my out of town cousin there, explaining that "Yeah, you probably wouldn't like Timbers, there's antlers on the walls and such" to which she points at the elk heads on the walls at the Clocktower.
