Customer service here is top notch. Won't get into details but if you have a bunch of kids, family, and want to watch the game last minute, this is your place. Thanks for the great night and great grub. We were never left hanging and always catered to. Kids loved the night and the food.

I'm so disappointed! The hideaway is a place we go where we know what to expect (at least we thought). The service has never been over top or super bad, just mediocre (have to grab extra napkins ourselves, find crayons for the kids menus), but the food doesn't disappoint....until tonight. It's always been on the more expensive side and we know that coming here, but they raised the prices even more! It was $20 for a John Wayne burger and it's now $22. It was $18/$19 for a Rueben and now it's $22. We ordered two kids meals, Mac n cheese $10, and chicken nuggets $11. We also ordered the chili in a bread bowl that was $17. I sometimes get the Cobb salad, but now that is $20. I'm speechless. Small changes in the food quality, lame service, and expensive food means we won't be coming back. I'm still sad about it because we loved the hideaway, now it's not worth your time.

Sat at the bar, service was flawless and the bar staff was 10/10. Carry and Tanner were attentive, conversations were great and the vibe was welcoming. They kicked ass and the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious. We ordered salads, bloody Mary's, a pretzel and cheese, and a burger and it was all delicious. 10/10 recommend hitting this spot for a nice brew or drink and some food with great service!

This place is not a bad place for breakfast. My party of 7 came in last Sunday and everyone one pleased with their breakfast. I got the biscuits and gravy. It was not really a biscuit but more like a square cake shaped biscuit. It was like not round and more like corn bread with the same consistency as cornbread. They did not give me enough gravy either. My eggs were really good but unfortunately I was still hungry afterwards. She got the chorizo with eggs and really liked it. It was a big portion too. Our waitress was super cool and the police was pretty clean.

We were in Redmond for a basketball tournament and options were somewhat limited this morning. We sat at 11:25 (group of 7) and were prepared to order breakfast. However, when the waiter came to take our order he told us they were out of some things, including biscuits and gravy. So we got some water and coffee and waited until noon to order lunch. Coffee was fine and our waiter was awesome. Water.... Was horrible. Tasted like chemicals and wasn't cold. I ordered the brussel sprouts and they were pretty good. Roasted just enough. Could have used some balsamic. Soup was delicious. Pretzels were the star I feel. Cheese fondue was more soup like than dip like. It was good, but texture wasn't great for me. Loved the seating area with couches for the kids to hang out and watch a couple games while we ate. Overall a decent experience. 7.1/10

This weekend we had the opportunity to come to Eagle Crest to help some friends. One of the best parts of making the trip is getting to go to the Hideaway for the John Wayne Burger and Allen town Chicken burger! The pretzel bun makes the difference between good and amazing! The staff is always kind and on top of things. We love that we have a place we can come to when visiting and be happy with what we get.

Love that they're branching out with more locations. More and more I have come to love this place…read moreeach time we visit central Oregon. I'm a huge fry guy. I know most people are, but I'm definitely a place that will wind me over if they've got bottomless fries they just absolutely big baskets. This place we always get a full order of their loaded fries and they always tried quite a few. I think the blue cheese and the poutine are our favorite. The poutine has a very good gravy now normally people slap any kind of gravy on and call it a day and for me a sub standard gravy will absolutely ruin the french fries. Luckily, the person working, there was super nice, and when I asked him his personal opinion on it, he ran back, grabbed a few french fries and a little bit of gravy to give us a try super cool Also, they got really good beer, selection, and sours and other fun things like that. This is one of the few places that I've had such unique over the top original kind of drinks. I really mean just I can't even describe to you until you look at their list there's just stuff you could never imagine. I will say this is something that we have written down before to try to find when we traveled back up north. Always laid-back always clean always easy parking. It's a no-brainer and they have a great happy hour.

The everyone is family vibe. We don't get that vibe in Redmond. In Bend we used to get a little bowl of bread Cubes and a small sampler dish of their homemade chimichurri that they were so proud of, and we loved. They don't do that in Redmond, not sure if they still do so in Bend... I think we've given Redmond 3 chances but staff are pretty indifferent, and the food doesn't wow us anymore. The brats and bangers are still good, but we feel it's not totally worth the prices anymore. Last time we were in Redmond location the women's restroom was out of tp. I told the staff twice and they were not busy, scrolling on their phones in between customers and they never re-stocked the to in the restroom.

We did not eat there as we had just come from another restaurant and we were there just for drinks and listening to live music. My cousin had told me that he and his wife really enjoy coming here and I can see why. There's a very fun vibe here . We got a table right up next to the side of the stage so we could really be part of the the action and feel the music. We . ordered drinks and they had a new band play there for the first time and they were fantastic. They sang a lot of great cover songs from the 80s that we all knew and sang along with , and they even sang an original song that the lead singer and his father had written . As they are finishing up that song, the singers, elderly father and mother had just walked into the pub to listen, and so the band played the song again for his father it was a really cool moment! My cousin introduced me to the owner, Vance, and he is very genuine and down to earth cool. The fine young lady bartenders were super nice and helpful and were always a pleasure to interact with. I think when I go back to visit my cousin and his wife again, I'm definitely requesting that we go back to the Clock Tower pub!

The 7th Street location in Redmond looks like an older log cabin, with a large patio out front. It's conveniently located to downtown Redmond, easily walkable from other restaurants, bars, and breweries if you're staying nearby. Going inside, I quickly realized this was a friendly local place where people come and the bartender knows your name and order. I ordered two flights on my visit; all the beer was great. They have a number of core staples, plus a bunch of small batch beers you can read about on the chalkboard near the door. The bartender was immediately friendly and welcoming; I said it was my first time there and she told me it's the oldest not-for-profit brewery in Oregon, donating all their post-bill/payroll profits to local charities. I was also here at lunch time and ordered maybe the best tuna melt I've ever had - rich, buttery, and delicious. They have lots of beers packaged to go as well. If you're doing the Bend Ale Trail, this is a fun stop and worth venturing to Redmond for if staying in Bend.
