Very nice establishment with a nice selection of local food being served out of food trucks. There a variety of different kinds of foods...wood fire pizza, burgers, tacos, pork, shaved ice and more. I ordered the patty melt from The Rogue. I didn't particularly care for it or the fries. The burger needed salt and the fries were sweet like the sugar got mixed up with the salt. There was also a cinnamon taste to the rye bread and overall just lacking seasoning. The caramelized onions were on point but I wouldn't pay $16 for that again. The bar is enclosed with plenty of seating as well as the outdoor area. There's music and two mist machines to keep folks cool under the canopy. It's a pet friendly place and people seem to be enjoying themselves. This is an amazing idea to replicate in New Orleans.

One of the best food truck courts in the Bend area. Great seating with outdoor carpeting and lots of shade (great for the canines). A good assortment of food trucks as well. We had a smash Burger from the Sando and Smash truck...delicious burger and fries, great quick service and reasonable price. One of our favorites for sure.

What a fun area with a variety of food and drink options. There are several food trucks that surround an outdoor eating area with picnic style tables and benches. There is also an indoor area that serves alcohol. We had the Kailua pork that was tasty.

Oh Lort, the Curb-B-Que pizza from Pine Marten Pizza has ruined me! I'm about to drive 3 hours back to Bend just to get another one! Absolute perfection. These guys have it down! The Bite is cool too

We are staying at Eagle Crest and I decided to venture out for lunch. We didn't want to go all the way in to Bend and decided to go to Tumalo. We ended up at The Bite. This is a fun and friendly atmosphere. There are several Food Truck Options (Mexican, Hawaiian, Pizza, Poke) and it has a good amount of outdoor seating. They have a a bar that is covered and also has outdoor seating. They have a nice selection of Beer and wine. We ordered from Rico Tacos. I ordered the Chicken Street Tacos. Simple and yummy with the hot sauce. This place has a fun vibe and atmosphere. It's was a perfect day at 71 degrees to be sitting out here enjoying this well crafted outdoor experience.

When in Tumalo (or passing through) I highly suggest visiting this chill location! Great food carts, atmosphere and craft beer on tap (And Bottled wine, sodas, etc). My favorite is Pine Marten Pizza but my wife loves the sushi cart! Just go... you can thank me later!

We had our dinner at the NorthFresh and beers at the Bite. We ate the food so fast that there was no time for photos. The fish were super fresh and delicious. The beers and cider offered at The Bite were decent. If you are unsure, taste it first! The live entertainment sealed the deal for a Sat night after a long drive to OR. Definitely a great spot to check out. It was a perfect night.

Food trucks! Microbrews on tap! Tap in to Tumalo! Inside outside in and out work your way around. Enjoy the summer breeze with sun shades flipping in the wind, in a bustling comfort food and microbrew zone. This place got a festive and chit-chatty vibe going on. Places around the grounds with tables, big boulders and lawn chairs to mellow out. Or play bean bag toss "corn hole." Tables inside The Bite to sit and sip you favorite beer on tap. Tapped the Ancestry IPA for us a few times. Waugu burger and fresh roasted garlic fries at the Rogue Chef food truck tasted AOK++++! Trucks also serving up burritos, tacos, burgers, toasted cheese specialties, sushi, shaved ice.

Great place to chill, have a beer and enjoy a multiplex of food if you are in Tumalo, the state park is not far away and a cool hike.

Came here two times that really stood out…read more Came here during open hours at night for some beers. The bar was closed and a gentleman told us they were closing early to promote morning coffee drinkers. It doesn't have to make sense to me but that left me a bit puzzled. We were given drink tickets so as far as customer service I appreciated the gesture. After the gym my girlfriend and I were craving breakfast burritos and felt like coming for coffee. It has rained last night and all the seats were wet, and they decided to pressure wash the indoor seating as well. A lady at pacific roots gave us paper towels to dry off seats. Next we tried to order breakfast burritos... they were running 30 minutes late, and coffee is only served weekdays. Customer service was really good but it seems that management is doing a poor job. I hope to update this review with good changes in fixing their online posted hours and maybe figuring out how to make their business run smoother, they have good employees who seem to make things work.

Ponch's Place is also a food truck lot, currently hosting four mobile kitchens. Two were open during my late afternoon, mid-week visit. Seating comprises picnic tables, many under cover on their patio with some out in the open near fire pits. Parking is expansive although the lot obviously serves VRCCO patrons and employees too.

Looks to be a nice tap house/food truck/pickle ball lot. The two pickle ball courts set it apart…read morefrom other tap houses. That said, Ballers is right next to 10 Barrel Brewing and just a stone's throw from another tap house/food truck lot at Ponch's Place. And just down the road from the indoor pickle ball place (which I haven't been to so I can't say what it offers). Terranaut Brewing, Bridge 99 and other joints are nearby too. We'll see how it all plays out but the local area might now be saturated. Good selection of beer and wine plus a full bar with signature cocktails. Prices are standard. The tap house has a large, fairly sterile seating area with tables and a bar. The courtyard sports the usual tables, couple of firepits, no umbrellas (yet). Dog friendly including a doggie treat station. There is also an upstairs area with a roof (so it's not a rooftop bar). The whole area - minus the upstairs - is accessible to the mobility challenged. Six food trucks to start with. As they tend to relocate themselves from time to time, I'll not bother listing them and just say the assortment looks pretty good right now. Check the tap house website. Love the restroom arrangement. Five (or is it six?) individual M/F stalls with a gender-neutral wash area. Efficient. I like it. Getting to and from might be a traffic challenge over the next year what with the Butler Market/Wells Acres roundabout construction (detour takes traffic on to Brinson Blvd).
