Went down for a Toby clone concert. Had food truck food which was okay if you like food trucks. We're not fans of them. Bottle of New Zealand wine was good. We have been to two Toby concerts quite a few years ago, so we were not sure what to expect. Music was less than par, except for the young lady prior to the Toby clone guy. She was very good, We went home after five of his songs. We liked the inside, so we will probably stop by for lunch someday. Stopped here after hiking for an afternoon lunch. They have a great variety of food trucks, sushi bar, and a cocktail bar. We got the cold noodles from the Asian food truck and gluten free fried pickles from another one. The cold noodles were excellent and the fried pickles were a bit salty but also very good. It had a chill casual vibe with music playing. The service was very friendly. Prices were moderate. Great spot to stop if you're looking for some grub in Redmond and like variety. read more

We struck out at Blacksmith Public House. In the previous review, I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping that our next visit would be better. I wrong, that first visit was Strike One! At our second visit we found what we thought was a nice table and ordered some drinks at the bar. My drink did not taste right. I took it back and told the bartender what I had ordered. She quickly prepared the correct drink. It was good. Not long after that the wind came up. We were all getting cold and agreed that we were not enjoying the experience. We left. Strike Two! The third time we came prepared for the cold and found a table that we thought was protected from the wind. We ordered drinks and food, from the food trucks, and settled in for a pleasant evening with friends. Soon the wind started blowing dust and dirt around us. We tossed nearly half of the food in the trash because it was too dirty to eat. Strike Three! Sorry Food Truck People, what we were able to eat was good; but, we will not be returning to Blacksmith Public House. read more

Fun place to grab a beer or bite to eat in Redmond. There are lots of food trucks offering Bowles, pizza and other options. Inside, they have a bar and lots of beer on top. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, but a big connect 4 game as well. I tried a pale ale here that was quite refreshing and wonderful to enjoy out in the sun. Thanks to the recommendation of an Uber driver who remarked about the beer list and live music, I decided to check out this place while walking around Redmond. Located off the highway and nearby other excellent bars, breweries, and restaurants, Blacksmith Public House was a fun stop on my last trip. The night I was in was karaoke night, but completely different from what I was used to - country. I got the sense of what the town and area is like by the toe tapping, heal stomping tunes being belted out. People were having a great time with food, drinks, dancing, and singing. They also do have a great tap list of mostly local beers and national staples, plus hard drinks. Prices were reasonable. The staff and other patrons were welcoming and fun, glad to have found it and hope to return someday. read more

Food .. we never got to find out. Service... Horrendous due to wildly understaffing and wildly over selling the event tickets which were wildly expensive ($35 per person) to the point that it was standing room only and at least a half hour in line to even get a beer. We ended up blowing it off and going to General Duffy's a block away for outrageously good burgers from Wagyu Smash Burgers. That's the last time I drop a single dime on one of their events! New tap room/food truck lot, like Redmond needed another. This one is located within spitting distance of General Duffy's and Wild Ride, with the High Desert Music Hall just a few blocks away. That said, it's well laid out and offers (currently) a nice array of food trucks. - Decent tap list. Not stellar for the area though. - Music is loud, too loud and the bands maybe are not our cup of tea. - Parking is non-existent and with General Duffy's right there, can be tight. You'll probably have to walk a few blocks, maybe. Not a big deal. read more

My son and daughter in took me out for lunch to Blacksmith Public House. We stopped at Cascade Alchemy Bowls. It's a food cart with Vegan options which my son and daughter in law are fond of. I ordered first and had a bowl which consisted of Sweet Potatoe fries , one over easy egg, and maybe one slice of diced bacon. It was tasty but not worth what my son paid for it. I my son and daughter in law had kind of Vegan bowls. In total my son paid over $60 for 3 bowls . Pretty steep for lunch. read more

There were absolutely no areas for handicap access at all. I really wanted to hear the band, at $65 for the both of us. But it was standing room only so they obviously sold way more tickets than there was room for. Didn't even get a drink or dinner. After standing in line for 20 minutes to get a drink we bailed. I will say the security was pretty tight plus they were very personable. That was the highlight. Never coming back. read more

Does Redmond really need another food truck lot? Maybe no, but Blacksmith Public House definitely is my favorite out of the plethora of food truck lots that have made their way into the Redmond community. The only thing I wish - is that it had more seating and more of a beer selection. Seriously, it is so hard finding a good red. There is both inside, outside, and "roof top" seating. Outside seating area picnic tables situated around a grass mound where kids have a play gym that can entertain them while parents sit back and have a beer and food from the six amazing food trucks located here. The inside seating situation is community high top tables and several solo tables while the upstairs seating is adults only for those wishing to have a beer in peace (trust us, us parents are looking up at you in envy). I visit family in Redmond every couple of months and will definitely be back. read more

First time here. We think the beer selection (12 drafts) could be better - a lot better. Three were domestic swill like PBR and Coors Light. This is a taproom, not a biker bar. Food trucks all are very good with a decent mix and a few with healthy selections. The ice cream and soda selections are good for kids. That said, please mix the constant stream of country music with more mainstream selections. I can't abide more than 20 minutes at a time of country and we left after 1 round because of this and the terrible chairs. The metal seating is very uncomfortable. There are some comfy plastic seats we found, but those cheap metal seats have to go. The patio area is nice and mostly shaded with a nice grassy area for kids. A plus. read more

Ate here for the 2nd time today. As other reviews have stated, parking is basically nonexistent as there are several bar and foodcourts within 2 blocks of each other. Seating in the bar are is very unpleasant unless you really like crowds and lots of noise. The food is fairly mediocre and the beer, sold in pints is much more expensive than other locations by $1.50 for tap beer and small selection. They have taken he wall down, and outside seating is more limited than before and is now a big circular die=rt area with a corn hole game in the middle. food is always great at trucks. i was in there with 2 other people at the bar went 9 minutes w out anyone asking me if I needed anything. the guy with a beard was dancing trying to impress the younger gal (an employee) that was on her phone. He must be the owners son because he is obnoxious and bad. The bartender before is always fantastic. this was April 4. I got there at 4:30 before the shift change. after 5pm it was unbelievably bad. my wife showed up and the loud music forced us to leave. Kareoke was starting at 6:30 but the music the DJ was playing was way to loud. We left. I get karaoke and what it brings to a bar but the music doesn't need to start an hour before people start singing. read more

Jackie is my favorite. Her customer service is amazing and she always makes me laugh! She makes sitting at the bar having a beer very fun. She's always so welcoming.
