There was a limit of four per person, so the four of us -- me, my mom, my Dad, and my brother -- each bought four, for a total of sixteen bags. This store is very clean, organized, and well stocked. The staff are always ready to help and super friendly which seems to be especially valuable for a store that stands ten toes against the age of self-check out. This store can be chaotic, but this is a popular spot with snacks and seasonal items that people all over rave about so it's expected. For service, I can stay today I had an outstanding customer service experience in this store. Two young ladies who helped me on the register, they went above and beyond. They greeted me and took care of me with a smile and not rushing. For ambiance, this store is very clean and organized. It is also well stocked ; even though, there are a lot of customers in the stores all the time. First time at this Trader Joe's location. The store is well lit and very welcoming. As soon as we came in we were pleasantly greeted. All the shelves were fully stocked and new holiday items are in. This location also has plenty of parking available. We shopped during lunch time. This store wasn't congested at all. Picked up our favorite Trader Joe's Premium Ice Cream among other things. The great find was the German gingerbread house for only $8.99 a box. We couldn't resist and bought 3. Can't wait to share this location with my social circles especially during the holiday when you're looking for great gifts this Christmas and holiday season. read more

This particular TJ'S is a bit sad...each time I've gone it seems pretty chaotic, and the employees seem frazzled. The parking lot is also pretty chaotic. Recently went to this location when I was in the area . Per usual- parking lot is small but I went early and found a spot. They had everything I needed and I had a great interaction with my cashier. I didn't not look at his name tag but my receipt says Jose L I do pickups a lot of times at other stores which TJs does not have. Have had real problems with moldy food from here. Literally bought a brand new jar of jam 24 hours ago and opened today to discover it was moldy. Also a couple months ago caught an employee literally stocking the shelves with tomatoes that were already moldy. Please have better quality control, this is a health concern! read more

This is not too bad of a TJ location. They share a parking lot with Walgreens and if you get caught in the rush of people then parking can get hectic. Once you've battled the parking lot the store is nicely organized and decently stocked. read more

Typical Trader Joe's with isles and isles of deliciousness everywhere you look. Tons of friendly employees too. Zero flower shortage either especially with Vday coming up. I was in the search of Blueberry almond milk and fresh blueberries to make blueberry boba with my students for Valentines Day. I also picked up some salads for lunches. Prices seem to be going up on fresh fruit. Maybe what I'm looking for is out of season. I don't remember paying such high prices. Usually Trader Joe's offers great great produce deals. It's a nice store. If you are stalked in this store like I was, you have 3 days to tell the store, so they can look through their security camera footage. That's what store captain told me when I recently called TJ. It happened 7-7-2023 some guy randomly filming me as I was walking towards forzen food section. He had this mean look on his face, had his cell phone in the crease of his left arm. He looked to me to be Armenian. He was wearing a cone shaped hat like the rice farmers wear, he had on a blue orange scarf around this neck, white t-shirt, beige kakhi cargo shorts, I don't remeber what kind of shoes he had on. He had a light beard, he may have been bald. A female employee asked him if he needed helped. He smiled at her and said no thank you. I didn't know what to do so I just took my cellphone and randomly snapped pictures to keep this guy from following me out the store. I have no doubt he would have followed me home. This area does have alot of junkies 'homeless' that get off the metro buses. I don't if that's what this guy was or some random non junkie loon. read more

Really? I know it's unprecedented times we live in with Coronavirus accommodations but all the more important should be the quality. This TJ's has so much charm! Reminds me of a local market except better as far as variety. While overall the first half of the store is open with space... the same can't be said for checkout lines and the back half of this Trader Joe's Navigating both outside and in can be a challenge during peek hours... even the last two isles for milk/ juice/ dairy and the wine and brew sections are kinda narrow and condensed, but abundant if nothing else. While they do their very best in both service and quality especially keeping up with produce, staple items, quantity and friendliness... you have to pick and choose your battles and aim to shop very early or after 7pm... I definitely favor this location compared to some of the more extreme challenges at Toluca Lake (mini in every way), Studio City (larger store... parking lot shared with every business known to man or so it seems), Encino (terrible parking lot) and Sherman Oaks (extreme parking and navigation) especially in terms of parking... because there is more of it than that "traditional" tiny lot feature. Definitely will stop in more especially for great deals and vegan/vegetarian variety... awesome amount of gf /gluten free items as well... Trader is a dietary and health nuts bf. read more

I love Trader Joe's! Their parking situation is horrible and it's always crowded. But I still love going. They have their own brands and I love trying different things that you can't find at other places. Trader Joe's brother started aldi and love aldi as well, but I like Trader Joe's because they have more of a grocery selection. They also have a lot of really good premade foods, a lot of salads, a great cheese selection, really good cheap wines, and their frozen section is the only frozen section of any grocery store that I'll shop at. Trader Joe's doesn't have any merchandise though - try aldi for things like candles, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. RE the bread: they use fresh ingredients in their bread so my bread doesn't last beyond two days. Their sourdough bread will last a little longer just because it's sourdough. But Recently I bought a bread and it molded the next day lol. read more

We went crazy buying everything from watermelon (not so good) to grapes to trail mix to more fruit and 4 bags of gluten free everything bagels and everything smoked salmon!! I'm super amazed and impressed with how friendly, patient, and helpful the staff are here at this location--especially considering that some of the folks that shop at this location are not that friendly and like driving around the stores super small parking lot like it's F1 racing. Really the only place I shop/buy food. Service is great...employees are always nice and helpful! I love the delicious freshly made food and/or drink samples they have in the back. The prices are great too! I really love their frozen Indian foods! I mean, how can frozen be soooo good and authentic!!!!???? For a small store they really pack a lot in there and everything is fresh and delicious. Besides the food, my 3 fave beauty products are sold here....I'm 48 yrs old and a couple drops of their vitamin E, jojoba, and Argan oil mixed together every night and morning (I mix a couple drops of water in the morning to make it a little lighter and put on about 15-30 mins before leaving the house) has done amazing things for my face/skin. It's so soft and smooth and I get told my skin glows too! Try 1 or all 3 together. I love it read more

This Burbank Trader Joe's sits just above Glenoaks at the beginning of Burbank: on the border of Burbank and Glendale. As such it is a way for me to shop on the reg though today i was in the area and wanted to check out this unit as i have never shopped here. Initially upon first viewing, this store has the "look" of an early aughts Traders and very similar in design than the unit a couple of miles away in Glendale. A couple of the departments here though are more expansive than Glendale: both the Freezer section and Produce are larger for one thing yet the wines area is smaller which to me means that Burbankians drink less than we do in Glendale which makes perfect sense to me. All that aside: this store is clean though at 9am the rest rooms already needed attention which tells you that they get a lot of use and therefore need a lot of attention on a regular basis. Product is well presented and stocked and the floor staff and checkers are personable, nice and fast on the cash register, One thing that i have never brought up when writing about TJ's is that the management is generally in almost every tj's i have shopped aloof and not really happy to help. Yes i know: odd for a company in whose management dress in Hawaiian wear. I realize that all management in all retail stores are busy but i do not have this opinion of those who work at Vons or Ralphs or even Costco (that is if you can ever find management in Costco...). Small to medium quibble i guess but still quizzical. I found and bought a couple new items to me: "Bamba" (a puffed peanut and corn deal with some of the pieces being dipped in dark chocolate which gives off a Reese's vibe) and a loaf of "French" bread translated from the French into a sort of wheaty/grainy version of a French loaf. This toasts well but lacks any relation to what we know as something that comes from France. And last but not least i bought a container of and old time favorite, Coconut Macs which always seem to go well with coffee or Chablis or a light Pinot Noir which i also bought. Good Stuff i would say. So, TJ's in Burbank looks good overall in regards to product presentation and shelf upkeep. I would return when i am in the area. Cheers! read more
