I have been traveling around Maine & so far these have been the best lobster rolls for the price! The price was reduced to $15 per roll, and were full of lobster and delicious. We also tried the crab roll and the scallop roll which were both delicious. This spot is definitely worth coming to!

Overall decent food stop with decent prices - 2 lobster rolls for $24! Nothing was the best we've ever had but wasn't disappointed either.

Amazing lobster rolls, two for $26! And they can do cold with mayo or hot with butter. Blueberry pie with ice cream for $6, the best! Great service too, even though the waitress was working the inside dining area as well as the walk up window.

Nice gem on the way to Schoodic. Got there when they opened, food was fast and fresh. Best lobster rolls we had in Maine and a lot cheaper than other places

Ice cream flavor choices.

Cute little restaurant with about 12 tables inside and some picnic tables outside. The service was fantastic. The young lady was very attentive to all of us and very helpful. There was 4 of us. Each couple ordered the Captain's Platter. It contained fries, onion rings, Haddock, Fried Shrimp, Fried Clams, and Scallops. Everything was fried to perfection. The onion rings and Haddock were very good. My friend also ordered 2 lobsters to go. One was 2 1/2 pounds and the other was 1 1/2 pounds for a total of 4 pounds to make lobster rolls at home. I would highly recommend this place.

First time visiting. Food was good. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Service was fine. Restroom not that great. Day visited: Friday Evening. November

The food was scrumptious! The lobster roll was delicious and the ice cream was such nice treat afterwards! Service was fantastic and the owners/staff friendly and helpful!

Proof I wasted money here.

This business treats people of color poorly and serves reduced portion sizes. We received a lobster roll where I had to open the bread to see the lobster and the clam chowder had 1 piece of clam and 1 piece of potato in a huge container swimming in muddy looking broth with a thick yellow ring of oil. The wings also were poorly done. None of it looked like the pictures others have posted. It all went in the trash as I couldn't trust what they may have done to my food. The patrons also made our experience less than desirable. Trash food from trash people. I wish I took a photo...I threw it out before I had a chance.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. We had lobster rolls, my son ordered the Haddock burger we also tried the seafood bowl and OMG it was all delicious. Highly recommended this place. Super nice and cozy.

Be warned you may have to wait for your food a while. We love Tracey's for certain things. Their chowder is nothing to write home about but their fist sandwiches and rolls almost always hit the spot. Great onion rings, decent fries, plethora of ice cream options. It is indeed frustrating that although this place doesn't appear to be too busy, they are always for some reason on anywhere from a half an hour to over an hour wait. Perhaps they are understaffed, perhaps their kitchen is not operating efficiently. Perhaps they are simply taking too many to go orders over the phone or they do not have capability for the amount of parking spots they have but they should really warn you when you order the food is going to take over an hour to come out. Still, we love Tracey's!

Total rip-off. $15 for a half full container of chowder. About 2oz of lobster in their lobster rolls. Live and learn. Never again.

Disappointed to spend $15.00 on chowder that was not completely filled and contained very few clams.

Lobster rolls 2/$20 were a great deal! Delicious food and fresh made fries. Excellent find on the way back to Bar Harbor.

Dorr Lobster Seafood Market has become *that* one particular landmark welcoming me back to Acadia…read moreNational Park. Seeing it in the distance fills me with an overwhelming sense of excitement as it meant returning to one of my favorite hiking spots in New England (so far) and beginning a weeklong binge on Maine's freshest seafood. I absolutely love this tiny and unassuming (from the outside) seafood market and couldn't wait to be back again this year. Last year, it was the first stop to pick up ingredients for my weeklong visit to Acadia National Park. This year, after a whole year of telling anyone and everyone I knew visiting Acadia, it was once again my first stop after I started driving from Boston. Loaded Lobster Roll - check. Loaded Crab Roll - check. Dorr Hoodie - check. Fresh scallops - check. 5# bag of steamers - check. Calamari salad - check. A pair of lovely fresh and alive lobsters for later - check. Some of the freshest stuff at really competitive prices. What's there not to like? Oh yeah, there is Tim with his super sarcastic sense of humor. A conversation with him just absolutely cracks me up. Super nice dude with a lot of information and makes the overall experience here even better than it already is. I also got to meet the father and son owners during this visit. Always glad to meet the hardworking fishermen behind the amazing product that I've become addicted to.

They have fresh and frozen soups for sale, and a single refrigerator display of a few fine pieces of seafood. They do the lobster, too, of course. I went with the scallops, a quart of New England Clam Chowder, and two pounds of fresh haddock. My wife made some awesome fish and chips with the haddock, had some beautiful sautéed scallops, and the soup was excellent. Was about $75 for everything, and we'd come back. The two gentlemen running the place answered all my questions and were more than happy to assist.

Good thing we asked the waitress about it- I think we would have been surprised by what it actually is (more of a sushi type thing). We ended up skipping the lobster summer roll and instead got the grilled artichokes, chicken piccata, and the paella. All of the food (and drinks) were SO good. Absolutely amazing food we were blown away! The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked (I'm picky about my chicken) and the sauce was absolutely perfect for the meal. My boyfriend's paella was also amazing- he said it was the best he's had over here! The food and overall experience were great- we loved the vibe of the place and was the perfect dinner for the end of our vacation. Service was also great and quick- next time we're in the area we'll be stopping by again!

Arriving a little late, Chef was gracious enough to allow us to order a pinch behind normal kitchen closing, and everyone serving us was a ridiculously sweet, funny, helpful delight. Our food- 100/10. Tender lobster in the truffle risotto, smashing burger, perfect mussels, to die for appetizers and quick service. I loved my pineapple spicy margarita as well! Coming in as a highlight on our Maine trip so far- nothing but vibes from the people, the place, the plates and everything in between.

Bar Harbor Lobster Bakes was our very first stop after a long day's drive from the White Mountains,…read moreand honestly, it set the tone for our whole Maine adventure. Even the wind tried to crash our dinner, but the food more than made up for it. We started with the lobster bisque, which my husband took very seriously -- he ordered bisque everywhere we went in Maine and appointed himself an unofficial judge. Verdict here? Top contender. The lobster tail was fresh, buttery perfection, and that sweet corn on the cob might've been the best I've ever had (sorry, Midwest). Our server was an absolute gem -- friendly, funny, and full of great tips. She even told us to check out the beach across the street, where I found my very first piece of sea glass. Bottom line: great food, lovely people, and a seaside charm that makes you forget the wind's trying to steal your napkin.

And my boyfriend got the Downeast Lobster Bake, which is a full lobster with clam chowder and mussels and blueberry cake. My twin lobsters were INCREDIBLE. I ate ALL OF IT! They made the lobster to perfection. Juicy and tender and soft! I do like my lobster with lots of lemon. And I had to ask for extra lemons twice bc they only gave me a couple slices at a time. So I was a little disappointed about that. The clam chowder was okay. Good but there wasn't much clams in there so I probably wouldn't get it again. The mussels were okay, they were not flavorful. The blueberry cake was delicious. If we go again, I think my boyfriend and I will stick to simplicity and both order twin lobsters!
