Went here for a Friday night dinner for our anniversary dinner. The food and service were absolutely amazing! We got the lobster summer rolls for an app- so fresh and so light. I got the Korean tacos and my husband got the ribeye special. Both meals were absolutely amazing! Then for dessert we got the milk and cookies, the most perfect way to end the dinner. The restaurant was super cute and not too loud. Would 100% recommend

Beautiful location right on the water.

While visiting Acadia National Park for our 34th Anniversary, we were looking for a special restaurant and we decided to give the Treehouse a try. Wow! We are so glad that we did. The ambiance when you walk is so fun! The service was fantastic and the food is out of this world delicious! We had muscles for our appetizer, and their special baked potato and scallop chowder! Oh my! The best chowder I have ever had. My husband has the scallops for dinner and they were also very tasty. I had the mediterranean halibut, which was also very well done. We finished off the special evening with their blueberry pie! We have another good reason to travel back to Maine. Don't pass of this gem of a scratch kitchen.

We actually had dinner here twice on vacation. Amazing spot! Food is fresh and delicious. We had scallops, mussels, and lobster stew. Margarita and paloma are wonderful! Cute tables by the window. Highly recommend! Also toddler friendly with cups with lids :)

We were driving back from Schoodic Peninsula and spotted the Treehouse Seaside Grill. When we travel, we like to try new places. Well, this place was a huge hit for us! The hostess was honest that they had reservations coming and a bunch of seated walk in's. So we could wait, or sit at the bar and enjoy the full menu and meet the owner of this establishment. We started with drinks. I had a Blood Orange Old Fashion and my husband had Lunch by Maine Beer company. Then we ordered our appetizers. I savored the local mussels and even shared them with my husband because the proportion was so big. My husband had the lobster stew. We have traveled to Maine for 22 years and this lobster stew was the best we have ever had. It was rich, creamy, with chunks of lobster and it was a treat for our picky tastebuds. I ordered another cocktail with Luxardo cherries. It was called a Dirty Shirley. An alcoholic take on a Shirley Temple. Unusual and good. We continued to sit at the bar and chat with Drew. He's a local gentleman who has come back to the area he grew up in and you could tell he worked very hard to take care of his employees and his guests. For dinner, I ordered the Lobster Spring Roll and my husband ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Tataki. Both were delicious. We switched entrees because we liked the flavors in both! Treehouse ingredients are locally sourced and they have a global flavor. It's wonderful to travel and find a culinary gem like this place. We finished our stay with Maine Blueberry pie and Crème Brûlée Cheescake. I drank a macchiato and my husband had Auchentoshan, a single malt scotch which he hadn't had before last night. I know this review is lengthy but when we find a hidden culinary gem, we hope others discover it too.

Such a beautiful spot, gorgeous inside and out. Service was phenomenal. Drinks were delicious, The Hail Mary is a must, a perfect drink with the best bloody toppings I've ever had! Soups to die for, a bowl of Vichysoisse was made for a fall day in such a beautiful location. We shared the lobster spring roll, such a light and tasty app. And then Dinner OMG I had the Truffle Ravioli, every bite had me my tastebuds vibing! My wife had the Mediterranean Halibut, she said it was some of the best fish she's ever had! The menu has something for everybody! Worth the drive from Bar Harbor to dine at this fabulous piece of Maine, will be a normal stop on our trips to Acadia!

Very accomodative. Had a 4 year old and a small dog. Both were obedient and we were well taken care of. We definitely recommend!

I was getting really tired of seafood on our New England vacation. I looked up reviews for…read moresandwiches on the way to Bar Harbor. After reading so many positive comments of Legends, I decided to give it a try. Boy, did I luck up! The prime rib is cooked slowly the day before serving. The au jus is homemade with just a touch of horseradish. My only regret is forgetting to ask for provolone. Two different types of fries are available. I opted for the hand cut steak fries. They were delicious and perfectly seasoned. Hubs couldn't believe I was eating roast beef and walked inside. He helped himself to my fries. He's super picky and he loved them. This place is a small store front in a little strip shopping center. Don't let that bother you. It's a little gem not to be missed.

This unassuming spot is for sure a diamond in the rough. It doesn't look like much from the outside…read more(and we almost didn't go in, but we took a chance and are glad we did! The staff is quite friendly and customer focused and the menu is straightforward, but the real joy is in the cooking. It's REALLY good. If you read my other reviews you'll see that I'm not shy about highlighting poor food and bad service. This place was neither of those. It was a little surprised that a place with "roast beef" in its name would be out of roast beef on a Sunday afternoon until the explained that the are closed on Mondays and cook their own roasts (2 a day) and serve until sold out on Sundays so the sandwich meat is fresh when the reopen on Tuesday. Amazing. I had a Baja smash burger and my wife had an Olin smash burger both with caramelized onions. Both were excellent. Fresh - not frozen patties - and it showed. Fries were really good too. I'll be back later in the week to try their roast beef sandwich and see if it lives up to the "legend" name.
