We were in the mood for some raw oysters. Wanted to go to Ironbound first but they only do dinner. Once we got to bunkers we were pleased by the nice view. Service was great. We ordered seafood Alfredo, captains platter, two dozen oysters, steamed and fried clams. Lots of food. Everything was delicious but was disappointed at the size of the oyster especially with the price we paid.

Our lunch was absolutely delicious .. simple and memorable. The kind of seafood I remember as a kid .. yet even better. (Isn't the live thing even better than the memory?) Crab roll, onion strings, Cole slaw and a dark stout (well, that last I didn't have as a kid). All were tops. So we went for dessert (it was my birthday). Chocolate cake but more like chocolate mound of paradise. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. The restaurant is comfortable, clean, friendly. Great view of the harbor. Two pristine bathrooms. Three thumbs up here.

Crab Roll -$16.50! Very fresh and large sized.

We ate at Bunker's a week before they closed for the season. The place was unassuming from the outside. The inside was fixed up so cute and the VIEW of the Harbor was beautiful. Our server was very friendly and gave us a brief history of the restaurant. It was closed for 5 years, and this was the first year it's been back open under new owners. The food was AMAZING and so much more affordable than on the main island near Bar Harbor. We decided they have the best blueberry pie we'd tasted on our trip to Maine. Definitely stop in and you won't be disappointed!

Don't sleep on this little fishing town and great dining spot! Be mindful of the earlier closing time. We arrived around 7p as a party of two and were quickly seated by an employee. We can't come to Maine and not get lobster so we ordered the lobster roll and caesar salad with lobster. Both were phenomenal and arrived in a very timely Manner! This place was recommended by our B+B host and we were not disappointed!

We came here after hiking up to Schoodic Head Overlook (Bunker Seafood is only two minutes from the Blueberry Hill parking area), and it couldn't have been more perfect. In the quiet, less crowded peninsula of Acadia National Park, Bunker is the epitome of ending a great day with a great meal. Service was fantastic, views out into the cove from our table were mesmerizing, and food was delicious. Could not recommend enough!

Awesome stop while touring around Acadia NP. Some of the best steamers ever!

Holy smokes! What a great lobster roll! These guys put Becky's in Portland to shame. The atmosphere is great, location is great right on the water, and the service was spectacular. Definitely a nice change of pace from the touristy prices you see in Bar Harbor.

Great fresh food and excellent service. The crab roll was on point as was the seafood Alfredo. Plenty seafood with large portions.

The restaurant is tucked away from the main road and has plenty of seating inside and out. Nice little bar area decorated very nautical and cute. The star of the show was the blueberry margarita - WOW! That alone was 5 stars. The food was decent, we got a salad and some chicken tenders and then the Brussels sprouts. As you walk in, they note that it might take extra time to make your food because it's a small kitchen made to order but we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient they were! Our waitress was kind and helpful. If we were locals to this area definitely would be back!

They are pickled. The story goes that years ago as the fishermen were starving during a bad fishing season..., the locals survived on pickled wrinkles. This is likely the only place on the planet that serves this unique delicacy. Don't miss the chance to try it. The crab cakes are delicious too. The place is rustic so the ambiance is pure Maine. Folks are friendly and helpful. One of the most unique places in Maine. The owner is Jesse and a nice guy. Tell him the Hobbs from SC sent you.

Good thing we asked the waitress about it- I think we would have been surprised by what it actually is (more of a sushi type thing). We ended up skipping the lobster summer roll and instead got the grilled artichokes, chicken piccata, and the paella. All of the food (and drinks) were SO good. Absolutely amazing food we were blown away! The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked (I'm picky about my chicken) and the sauce was absolutely perfect for the meal. My boyfriend's paella was also amazing- he said it was the best he's had over here! The food and overall experience were great- we loved the vibe of the place and was the perfect dinner for the end of our vacation. Service was also great and quick- next time we're in the area we'll be stopping by again!

Arriving a little late, Chef was gracious enough to allow us to order a pinch behind normal kitchen closing, and everyone serving us was a ridiculously sweet, funny, helpful delight. Our food- 100/10. Tender lobster in the truffle risotto, smashing burger, perfect mussels, to die for appetizers and quick service. I loved my pineapple spicy margarita as well! Coming in as a highlight on our Maine trip so far- nothing but vibes from the people, the place, the plates and everything in between.

I had the burger special which was fucking fantastic! I was getting pretty tired of seafood at this point and it was the most refreshing change of pace. It was one of those just in time food experiences. C went for the crab cakes. What a gorgeous version of crab cakes they were! Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat.
