View of the hotel pool and southwest harbor from the hotel. The restaurant is just below the pool.

The atmosphere was really nice and the hotel is beautiful. The hostess was very nice and helpful. The restaurant wasn't busy, but we were told they were out of the items we wanted due to the busy Labor Day weekend. So we ordered a salad with grilled shrimp, it was ok. I'm not a fan of sweet dressings like the strawberry vinaigrette it came with though. Service was so so, the server wasn't really in the game, he was more interested in facebook. I'm not sure if I will go back on our next visit, if I do it will be for the view not the food or table service. Maybe this was just an off day, I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving it a try.

This small restaurant is located behind the Claremont hotel, right on the water! Great view with a patio as well! You could definitely tell how fresh all the ingredients were! So good and tasty! The Mediterranean plate was listed as a main course, which it shouldn't be. It's more of an app. And also, I wish my salad would have been bigger. Our server was so cheery and friendly!

Really nice spot on water. Food is good. Service is good. (Eugen is super friendly). View is spectacular. Fish Camp is very accommodating to boaters. We chose having lunch at Batson over Islesford Restaurant (Little Cranberry) as the views are better & it's closer by boat. Still dockside summer prices but not as steep as Islesford. Yet, oysters @ $3.5 each came on a very watery bed of ice, minus 1 star b/c of this, SUGGESTION take a page from EvenTide in Portland, and crush your ice and serve the oysters super cold (on a solid ice bed, not on watery melt ice where the water get into the oyster, Maine is the oyster capital of the northeast, no excuse as it wasn't hot out). Yet, the host, wait staff, and dock associates were all super friendly and attentive.

Beautiful view of the south west harbor, but the drinks aren't very good and the clam chowder and Caesar salad was also just okay.

We were standing near the bar, and one of the bartenders invited us to sit and moved chairs around for us. Service was excellent and very friendly. We had the roasted tomato burrata sandwich and flatbread. Each were great. This is such a cool place, there is a vinyl store within the restaurant, but it was closed when we there. There also was an area they sell guitars, all so random, but fit so well together. A very cool, comfy place to enjoy drinks, food and music.

The historic building has a tin roof and a wooden bar that eeks history. Our waitress was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. I enjoyed the roasted tomato burrata baguette sandwich and it was toasted and tasty. Several of my dining partners also had the same sandwich. Another had the Warm Roasted Root Vegetable Salad that she said was wonderful. We finished the meal with generous portions of carrot cake topped with delicious cream cheese frosting. There is a store inside the Black Moon (that happened to be closed on a Saturday night). In the corner they sell vinyl records and CDs and there is also a selection of guitars. There was also a musician playing live music near the front of the pub that really added to the atmosphere. It was a truly great find right on Main Street in Ellsworth.
