Amazing food! Great service. Lobster is perfect. Excellent clam chowder. They had a special of lobster cakes and it was delicious. We went there several times while we were on vacation and it was amazing every time.

Every summer--as a local explained--Lunch on the Wharf opens (often led by a group of teachers on break) for midday meals. Hosted on a dock in Corea Harbor, the pop-up restaurant serves a variety of seafood focused meals. Unlike other establishments in the area, Lunch on the Wharf has a extremely clear and focused website (maybe because it's operated by educators?); everything you need to know is available for preview online. On a sunny summer day, the umbrella covered, picnic bench seating is spot on and the view of the lobster boats, traps, and skyline is immediately soothing. Our family ordered a variety of Lunch on the Wharf offerings: veggie burger, lobster grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly, oysters, clam chowder, and a lobster meal. Everything was delicious (see photos)! By comparison to Bar Harbor menus, this is the cheapest lobster bake/meal I've found in the lower Schoodic Peninsula ($27). I will admit I was a bit nervous when the perfectly shucked oysters on the half shell arrived as they were not cold or on ice. I had to remind myself where I was and how absolutely fresh these were (from a local oyster farm). My only disappointment was the clam chowder. The flavor and consistency were perfect, but I had to seriously sift through to find any clam bits. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Lunch on the Wharf! The food, ambiance, and service are great.

This place is all about the views! It's a beautiful cove filled with lobster boats, birds working the water and summer breezes. Husband had the crab claws, a giant portion for $15. I had the lobster quesadillas which were good but if I were to order again I'd get with no veggies inside as they take away from the flavor of lobsters. But that's simply my preference, everything was very tasty. Help was quite nice too.

Wonderful lunch experience. Very relaxing and nice venue right by the water. Lobster rolls were superb, as you would expect in Maine. The oysters we had however were not great (perhaps it was not a good day for them). Friendly staff. Very delish blue berry pie also! Overall we would highly recommend this establishment mostly for the unique and relaxing ambiance.

Good thing we asked the waitress about it- I think we would have been surprised by what it actually is (more of a sushi type thing). We ended up skipping the lobster summer roll and instead got the grilled artichokes, chicken piccata, and the paella. All of the food (and drinks) were SO good. Absolutely amazing food we were blown away! The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked (I'm picky about my chicken) and the sauce was absolutely perfect for the meal. My boyfriend's paella was also amazing- he said it was the best he's had over here! The food and overall experience were great- we loved the vibe of the place and was the perfect dinner for the end of our vacation. Service was also great and quick- next time we're in the area we'll be stopping by again!

Arriving a little late, Chef was gracious enough to allow us to order a pinch behind normal kitchen closing, and everyone serving us was a ridiculously sweet, funny, helpful delight. Our food- 100/10. Tender lobster in the truffle risotto, smashing burger, perfect mussels, to die for appetizers and quick service. I loved my pineapple spicy margarita as well! Coming in as a highlight on our Maine trip so far- nothing but vibes from the people, the place, the plates and everything in between.

The restaurant is tucked away from the main road and has plenty of seating inside and out. Nice little bar area decorated very nautical and cute. The star of the show was the blueberry margarita - WOW! That alone was 5 stars. The food was decent, we got a salad and some chicken tenders and then the Brussels sprouts. As you walk in, they note that it might take extra time to make your food because it's a small kitchen made to order but we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient they were! Our waitress was kind and helpful. If we were locals to this area definitely would be back!

They are pickled. The story goes that years ago as the fishermen were starving during a bad fishing season..., the locals survived on pickled wrinkles. This is likely the only place on the planet that serves this unique delicacy. Don't miss the chance to try it. The crab cakes are delicious too. The place is rustic so the ambiance is pure Maine. We sat right on the dock and ordered live lobster, which is cooked fresh on site. Be prepared to wait a bit, but it is absolutely worth it. The lobster was the best we had the entire trip, enjoyed with ocean views and a beautiful sunset. One tip: get the blueberry pie if they aren't sold out. We ordered a few to share and immediately regretted not getting our own because it was that good. By the time we realized, they were already sold out for the night.

This is a great working harbor and you're surrounded by the boats that are catching your food. This place packs up during the evenings so plan accordingly or be prepared to wait. Parking stinks and sometimes there's just no where to put your car. There's no reservations - you just hop in the line upon arrival. Feel free to meet your line neighbors -- some great conversations have happened in that line. All that said I don't think I've ever waited more than 20 minutes. If you're ordering lobster your meal is typically by the weight. I personally like them small - I think it tastes sweeter. You can add on the usuals (e.g. bread, corn, cole slaw, cake) or mussels, clams, oysters, etc. The key here is the blueberry cake - the greatest use of blueberry's next to blueberry pie =). We typically order 2 cakes, or more, for breakfast the next day. Most of the seats, on the various levels of the restaurant, have a good view of the harbor. This is a traditional lobster pound on a dock of the harbor. Maybe it's the bright yellow awning, or the blueberry cake, - I dunno - but this is the way!
