    Lobster roll

The food was great! We ordered the lobster roll, crab roll, clam chowder, bbq burger which were all equally delicious! The coleslaw that came with the rolls was better than most high priced restaurants! Can't remember the names yet the IPA and light bodied beer in draft were very good! Mike, Michael, and Jen provided us with great service us and were a joy to talk with! I highly recommend this fine establishment!

    Under roof bar area.

Under new ownership and they have set a high bar! Top to bottom, inside and out is fresh, clean, attractive and inviting. Lightly toasted lobster rolls were packed with tender and juicy lobster meat and came with flavorful coleslaw and chips. Take out style ordering with under roof or umbrella fresh, clean picnic tables on site. Easy access hand washing station.

1.5+ pound lobster dinner served with corn & melted butter!

This place was amazing. Prices are super reasonable: we got a 1.5+ pound lobster dinner ($35), 3 Maine lobster rolls ($23 each & served with really good chips and cole slaw), 2 clam clowders ($9 each and super delicious and worth it), steamers ($12.50), an extra side of corn, a western bbq burger, and 4 beers (good local ones for only $4 each) for a total of about $168. And, we ended up going back up for 2 blueberry cobblers (delicious and only $3 each). Food was amazing. Service was really good and the people were kind. They even brought us a big bowl of water for our dog. 10/10 would recommend!

Very good lunch spot! We needed something quick and easy since we were in a rush and this place delivered! We weren't that hungry so we decided to split the smoked mussels and the pulled pork cheese fries. The mussels were delicious and the smoky flavor really came through. They had old bay (or something similar) seasoning on top of them and were delicious! The pulled pork on top of the fries was some of the best I've had and the fries were perfectly crispy! I would definitely come back!

So many options in the area but I wanted a place where my husband could get BBQ and I could get mussels. This place was perfect, with a screened in patio plus outdoor seating. I had the smoked mussels and they were fantastic! My husband had the combo pork and brisket sandwich, "Phil" something or another. A glass of wine for me and a beer for him. Easy going music and hospitable staff and I think the owner. Give this place a try!

Nice family run establishment, fast service. I had the BBQ Brisket with onion rings and baked beans, BBQ Brisket was very moist and tasty, good size portion. Baked beans were very good and onion rings were ok, were a bit cold Wife tried the Smoked Lobster dinner with fries and Cole slaw. Lobster was ok, lobster tail meat was a bit chewy seemed a bit over cooked. Nice size lobster was served. Plenty of seating inside and out and good size parking lot. Will be going back again while in Bar Harbor / Ellsworth area. Price of meals was about average for this area. Spent about $80 for the two dinner meals and two bottles of soda.

We lust this place. We were carried inside by the wafts of bbq cooking outdoors. They, like so many, have staffing issues. Our first attempt they were closed due to a staff shortage. Our second pass we got lucky. We ordered the brisket and ribs with Mac n Cheese x2. I am so glad we came back! The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and the ribs fells off the bones. The dry rub on the ribs was fantastic and even though it came with BBQ sauce, it wasn't necessary. The Mac-n-Cheese was creamy with a solid amount of cheese. The noodles were not over baked so they held their shape nicely. We did not walk away hungry. Our next visit was only days later ad we wanted to try the smoked lobster. It is cooked, split, seasoned, and then smoked. While it was nicely seasoned, we found the tail meat quite chewy. The claws were yummy and the garlic butter was enough for the entire lobster.. It was a bit challenging to us who aren't raised in lobster territory to work through the process of retrieving the tasty morsels using a nut cracker and a plastic fork. While we weren't crazy about this choice we will defiantly be back for the BBQ dishes. The service is minimal. You order food at the counter, take your number, and choose a table inside or a picnic table outside. The food is delivered and that's the end of the service. There are dish tubs to place dirty dishes or baskets and trash cans for the remaining items on the tray. There is a single bathroom in an out building, much like a small storage shed. It is clean and meets expectations. We loved the small business vibe and if we lived closer would be frequent guests.

A nice stop right before the bridge into the tourist town of Bar Harbor. This felt very local and wasn't as overpriced as some of the other spots on the island, but still wasn't cheap! We had one Connecticut Lobster Roll and one Maine Lobster roll, potato salad, coleslaw, and clam chowder. It was all pretty good but the lobster portions seemed smaller than other places. The chowder was boiling hot which was great but I didn't think that through when it was so hot outside, but it was very good! The outdoor seating had tons of options and the umbrellas were great to stay in the shade. They had yard games setup that guests were enjoying and it was fun watching them cook the food outside. The table was pretty sticky from many years of eating but oh well. We would stop again if we visited the area.

What a great place! Smoked seafood and BBQ. I had the lobster grilled cheese and a cup of chowder, and we shared the smoked mussels. My sister had the brisket sandwich. I'm definitely coming back to try the smoked lobster.

We had a great experience here! We were hungry after a day of hiking, so we ordered a lot and enjoyed all of it! My husband wanted to try the smoked lobster and smoked mussels which came with seasoning and herb butter. The steamers tasted really good! Our lobster dinner came with 2 sides, so we picked fries and corn. Friendly staff and very helpful!

Thanks to Yelp I found this place!!! After a long drive, we arrived at our cottage and the other lobster place I planned to go to closed for the season. I found this place and called them to see if we could bring our dog! The answer was yes and off we go!!! We ordered steamers, lobster roll (only one size) and smoked lobster dinner!! The smoke lobster dinner was so good with the seasoning!! You know what? After I had my first meal here, we came back for 3 times more!! The fries were delicious, thin cut and CRUNCHY!! The steamers were fresh! I heard the lobster roll was rich and delicious as well!! Could not ask for a better experience!! Staff were so nice and friendly!! We made some conversation with several of the staff!! Other things you might want to know: Great place to hang out, has tables outdoor and corn holes Dogs friendly: not only ours but a few were hanging out in the place
