PETCO GROOMING For…read morethe past two years, I took my dog, Ivy, to a different Petco location and never had any issues. After recently moving to this area, I took her to this Petco location for grooming. Ivy was at her grooming appointment for approximately six hours. When I picked her up, I discovered that one of her nails had been cut extremely short and was continuing to bleed. The bleeding could not be stopped, so I had to take Ivy to an emergency veterinarian. I was also confused because the service I specifically selected was nail buffing, so I did not expect her nails to be cut. I understand that accidents can happen, but this was a very upsetting experience. I'm sharing what happened so other pet owners can make their own informed decisions.
