This place is OK. They probably have the worst customer service of all home improvement warehouse…read morechains but it doesn't keep me from coming because I'm a guy and I like this kind of stuff. I'm also pretty familiar with the way The Home Depot runs their stores because they used to be the only large home improvement chain in the area though perhaps not this particular store. It was either them or the local hardware store. The local hardware store was good for some small things but The Home Depot was where you did your "shopping" for this kind of stuff. Sort of like a convenience store versus a grocery store. The biggest issue I have is that if I need help I either can't find it or I only find someone that doesn't know anything about my particular item search. Luckily I know enough that I don't need any real help unless something is too big or too high to reach safely.

DO NOT BUY FROM MARTIN! I have NEVER been spoken to so unprofessionally as I just was by…read moreChristopher (whose last name is a mystery as no employee would give it) at the Jensen location whose title I understand is GM. We were attempting to request a simple refund for my father-in-law who has difficulty hearing. I assumed he misunderstood something when he came home with more lumber and no refund. I returned to the Porter location where the manager was very helpful in attempting to explain and reach out to the Jensen location for approval for the refund. She came back with the same answer so I attempted to call and explain that my father-in-law never received the material and the material was not even available during the 15 refund window they were holding him to. Christopher was immediately snarky and spoke to me like a child, he told me to stop crying just because I wasn't getting what I wanted and to get over it because they can do what they want. He said he reports to himself and has no boss when I told him he was being unprofessional and I wanted to speak to someone else. If this is what Martin stands for as far as customer service, I hope people see them for what they are and make their purchases elsewhere.

Ace hardware really is a wonderful place to shop... no where else are you going to get kind…read moreknowledgeable people that are eager to help. I walk in most of the time knowing what I need in a general sense, but need guidance. Never once have I had to flag someone down or look for someone to help me. They find ME! Whether it's in the gift shop or the main store... everyone is always so kind, and helpful! Today... I called to ask if they sold replacement tops for a tumbler I bought there. They could have said "no" and hung up, but someone decided to look it up on the tumblers website while I was on hold, and told me that the website sold the tops and I could get one there! How kind is that?!? My grandparents were owners of a general store... and this is how I remember them treating people! I love this place!

Horrible experience with the Manager and establishment. Bought a reel/spool for my weed whacker…read morewhich I was told would fit. It didn't, and when I tried to return it, they stated it was out of the package (which it was) and they couldn't offer one, but the reel was still wrapped and unused (how else would I know if it fit). I understand they don't want opened returns, but I bought it upon the advice of an employee. Go with Amazon. Cheaper, more reliable (if you can believe that) and you can return something that doesn't fit, even when told it would. Or even better, go to a mom and shop hardware store and not a corporate one, although I'm sure ACE would be unhappy with this franchise's failure towards proper customer service considering the circumstances.

The team is incredibly professional, always arriving on time and ready to work with a clear plan in mind. Their knowledge of landscaping is top-notch--they offered thoughtful suggestions that transformed my yard into a stunning outdoor space that perfectly suits my style. What really stood out was how friendly and helpful everyone was. They took the time to explain the process, answer all my questions, and even shared tips for maintaining my new landscape. It's rare to find a company that combines such expertise with genuine warmth and approachability. They went above and beyond to ensure I was thrilled with the results, and I absolutely am! If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and friendly landscaping team, look no further. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know!

Did a good job on new installations but the quality of their work on their lawn maintenance program…read moreis terrible. After my lawn was aerated as part of the annual maintenance program, it did not even look like the aeration machine had touched the ground. When I brought the issue to the owner's (Matt) attention, he did send his workers back the next day (good). However, instead of offering to re-aerate the lawn, they tried to convince me that the original job was done well. The owner supported his workers and told me that I needed to trust them. I visibly saw them do a poor job and could not get the owner to acknowledge their less than satisfactory performance. I will never use Prime Lawn again.
