**SELF-WASH ONLY REVIEW** This was my first time washing my dogs here after hearing about the great price, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The woman who took my payment wasn't very helpful or informative. I have two small dogs under five pounds, and the overall vibe was so off that I ended up washing my other dog at home instead. At other self-wash locations, the staff is typically welcoming and willing to guide first-time customers, but that wasn't the case here. A few issues I encountered: 1. The water nozzle had only one pressure setting, which was quite strong--too much for delicate areas like the face. 2. There was no information provided about the shampoo, and the only additional product available was a leave-in conditioner spray with no details on its ingredients. I didn't feel comfortable using it, so I used my own products. 3. The blow-drying situation was frustrating. Drying is done right at the wash station with no separate area. A groomer on the other side of the wall managed to get both me and my dog wet again just as I was almost done drying. Imagine trying to dry a Maltese next to a Husky--it felt like a snow globe of fur flying everywhere. **Additionally, the dryer itself wasn't very strong and didn't offer different settings for blowing strength or temperature. One of the main reasons I opted for a self-wash service was to complete the bath quickly, but the weak dryer made that difficult. It was fine today since it was warm outside, but I prefer to fully dry my girls regardless of the weather.** 4. Several employees (walked past me without a simple greeting or acknowledgment, which leads to my biggest issue... 5. **The vibe.** I can't quite put my finger on it, but the atmosphere felt unwelcoming--almost as if I was intruding. Washing my dogs is usually an enjoyable bonding experience, and I appreciate friendly, engaging interactions with staff. Unfortunately, I didn't get that here. Instead, I felt uncomfortable and eager to leave. 6. I purchased the 5-for-$50 deal, which comes with a punch card. Knowing my lifestyle, I probably won't keep track of it, so I asked if they had a system to store the information and check me in electronically. The response was simply "no," and she handed me a card with some holes punched in it. **On a positive note, the towels were very nice, and the lady working in the retail section was helpful when I stepped out to ask for a hand.** But overall, It's disappointing because all they had to do was be a little kind, show some concern, or at least act like they appreciated my business--just a little effort would have made me give them another shot. Love this place! They are so helpful and go above and beyond for my dogs needs. If they think of a better product that is also cheaper, they have no problem letting me know. They've also been super generous with samples of different products. Their events are super fun and creative too! We also love that they work with VAP volunteers to help get pets adopted. This review is for Grooming services only, not the retail store. Im giving them 3 stars ONLY because the actual grooming work was very well done and my dog looks great the problem is not with the groomer, but with them not following through with the schedule / time frame agreed upon. I called to set an appointment 1.5 weeks early and advised I needed a quick in and out "express" service, and and to pick up my dog by 2pm. They told me no problem, when I dropped off they made a note on his paperwork making sure they knew he needed to her ready by 2pm. at 2pm I got a call saying he wouldn't be ready. I wasn't able to pick him up until after 5pm, 6 hours after dropping him off, I have an older rescue dog who doesn't do well sitting in this environment for this long. If they had advised me when I dropped him off they couldn't finish their work in the agreed upon time frame I would have just rescheduled for another day and moved on without issue; Instead not only did he have to sit there for 6 hours, I had family in from out of state that I had plans with later in the afternoon I had to cancel due to the groomer taking 6 hours instead of the advised 2-2.5 hours it would be. read more

We walked in there and there were three people working an EMPTY store. Not one of them welcomed us in there. We were looking for dog food, Taste of the Wild. We didn't see it so we went up to the counter and asked the two guys if they had it. One of them didn't acknowledge us and the other put his finger up to us while he finished his food. Finally the lady in back yelled over to us that they don't sell it anymore. None of them offered assistance in finding a new food or anything. So we went to Petco across the street. This last time I brought her , I told them I wanted her cut short and leave her face fluffy. my mom went to pick up my dog and she looked the same as when I dropped her off! I called them regarding my frustration after my mom paid $67 and was told that my dog was too hyper &' that she's always hyper so the groomer wasn't able to do anything to her but wash her , I was told to bring her back for them to cut her the way I wanted. I brought her back, picked her up and she still looked the exact same. They have never told me my dog was hyper, they never told me that she gives them a hard time. I came in for a topper and they had a few options. They also have a dog ice cream. My dog loved it. My mom also got our sophe some churro chew bones. I saw on the web that this store had a dog wash so I called and sure enough they do! They charge by weight so it was $18 for my 60LB dog. The set up is great, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is easy to use. We head to the back to see what the establishment has to offer in the way of washes, and once we inform the attendant of our purpose, we are advised that it will be $12. So I pay and she gets us set up. 5stars for the self wash service. The lady that was behind the counter got me a tub immediately and was extremely pleasant. My dog on the other hand is a big fluffy monster of an Australian Shepherd. His fur is so thick that when I bathe him at home it takes forever. When I bathe him at petco I it take even longer because their water pressure sucks! But this place OMG! Had amazing water pressure I was about to brush out and wash colt in 20MINUTES!!! Which is astounding if you couldn't tell from my liberal use of exclamation points. I was in a bind. I needed my collie Paisley bathed prior to some special friends coming from out of town for the weekend. Fur Babies not only got him in when I needed, they did a wonderful job. He was fluffy, bone dry and oh so fresh smelling when I picked him up. I had used other groomers in the past where when I picked him up when called and told he was ready, he was still damp and "wet dog" smelling. This time, also, he was calm and content without any of the stressful trauma I felt he had experienced at other groomers. Her vet was able to clip a good amount off minding the quick but a few months later i took her here for a bath and more clipping to her nails. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. The ladies here are so sweet and accommodating. I have a senior Welsh Corgi that cannot walk on his back legs. I know just how difficult grooming him can be since he cannot stand up on his own. They always take excellent care of him and do a wonderful job on his grooming. My dog's leash that I ordered years ago was not available in store and they were able to order the leash directly from the company for me because the company only takes orders from retailers.
