I tried to make an appointment here given I had to pay a deposit since I called previously to cancel appointments was not that I no called no showed and when I did go in they were unable to help. I understood. I asked about how much the service would be for the appointment told me they couldn't tell me but price may have gone up so I asked if I would be refunded the amount if the service was more than I could afford. She proceeded to tell me then I can just refund you your money and place a note that you could not return. It was a simple question and if people can't afford services then you should be able to answer if the money would be returned. Let me start off by saying, Taylor the groomer is the best. I dropped off my dog on Feb 7th pick up 12th. When I left the facility my dog seemed OK. I arrived home less than 10mins from facility my dog run to the door my dog had major diarrhea. I called staff to ask if they noticed any diarrhea? Of course they stated no Colby was fine. My dog was sick for almost 2 weeks with diarrhea, he was very weak. The staff did not take responsibility. The staff was very disrespectful. The owner never called. I was very upset so I did raise my voice over the phone. But, the behavior of the staff was unacceptable. I asked the staff will they be responsible for the vet bill. They said no because he wasn't sick in their care. We will never go back to this establishment. We will miss Ms. Taylor a wonderful person and groomer. Delinda. read more

We took or dog for one overnight stay as we went to sons college graduation in Austin. We received ph. call on our way to get him stating "your dog has been bit and might need a stitch or two" They( Fetch Pet Resort )even said they called our listed vet and were taking him there. They NEVER called our vet and when we got to Fetch Pet Resort he was alone in shock bleeding out!! We rushed him to our vet and he was in surgery for a long time as it wasn't a stitch or two rather multiple layers and many areas of deep puncture wounds. Fetch not only lied but owner has not reached out to us for an apology etc. "A dog was left unattended and broke a door down and ran toward your dog as he was playing alone outside" That's what we were told. I can't answer why unattended dog because they didn't have an answer. We took him there based on the good reviews but they told us they have never had this happen. That being said this was how they handled the situation- They left a dog unattended and then lied about calling for help. Had we not been back in town based on the severity he may not be with us today! Those are not my words rather the vet clinic. When we walked in the front door to get him the young lady that dealt with us found it humorous as I kept telling her he is badly hurt and she said we were irate and it wasn't that bad!!!!!!!! I would be just as "irate" if it happened again. After our dog was in surgery we had the sheriff meet us at Fetch because they wouldn't release the other dogs shot record to our vet and she needed to know what our dog was up against, rabies etc. She told him no at which time he said "you will release the records" We cannot find out owner of dog, kind of dog, or info on dog. So I do hope Fetch informs owner of other dog of its aggressiveness. Texas is the only state that wont quarantine animal for this as they view animals as material possessions not life unless animal attacked is a show animal. We own several businesses and our customers are our main priority. At this juncture an apology or a f/u phone call would have been respectful and just thing to do. As I look at my dog I'm reminded how being tested is rough as I am trying to keep them in my prayers that they will do the right thing! read more

My husband took my new Maltese puppy to Fetch Pet Resort on Wednesday February 12, 2020, they did a horrible job grooming her! Very bad hair cut and looked as if they didn't even bathe her! I called them early the next morning and explained my disappointment & asked for my credit card to credited the cost of the grooming. The young lady that answered the phone said she would call her manager & call me back. She called back to say her manager said they would NOT give a refund, but they would give a discount off our next grooming. Had I been the one to pick her up, I would not have paid for this extremely poor service...but, my husband just paid, picked up the dog @ left. I've used Fetch ever since they opened...even before when it was under the old ownership...over 14 years... We checked our dog in here for a week while we were out of town. I had called and reserved her stay over the phone. They had very good customer service. Everyday we received a picture and a comment of how Zoey was doing. That was reassuring. Although I would have liked a short video or maybe 2 pictures. It was my first time boarding my dog at Fetch Pet Resort. I was so nervous and even called them and asked how he was. The staff was so supportive and kind and answered all of my inquiries and updated me on my pup. This is the 2nd time and will be the last taking my dog here to be groomed. The first time they put a muzzle on my dog. The groomer said it's for safety, I explained my dog is a professionally trained service dog; she does not bite. I took her in today at 8AM for bath and groom. When we arrived my dog had her tail between her legs (a sign of fear) by 10:30 AM I had yet to receive a call for pickup. So, I just drove down there. I arrived, went to the grooming window and saw my small dog muzzled & shaking on the groomer table. The groomer was unaware that I was watching as she was chatting, drinking a soda and looking at her phone. I tapped on the window making her aware that I was viewing her. I kindly asked the receptionist to release my dog as she has been here for almost 3-hours. I was quickly and politely rung up. The groomer let my dog out without her leash, I had to ask for it. I then asked why she was muzzled? The groomer said "it makes it easier" I gave her a quizzical look and then she started getting loud and lied! Saying my dog bit the bather and tried to bite her. I knew she was lying and said there's no need to muzzle my dog. She became louder and said "I'm not abusing your dog!" I replied, "I didn't say you were abusing my dog but, it's very telling that you would say that". I took my pup out side to give her water, put her in her car seat, turned on the A/C. I went in to let the gal at the front desk know that this was very unusual and should be looked into, because my small dog is a trained service dog who does not bite. The groomer was at the other end of the counter and began yelling again. The groomer said, "why are you telling her she's JUST the receptionist!!" I looked at the front counter gal and said this is the kind of behavior management needs to know about. I then walked out as the groomer kept yelling.My little doggy has gone to the same groomer for two-years (from puppyhood/we moved out of state) and never had a problem, never muzzled, never aggressive. There is something very wrong here the groomer lies, and makes absurd allegations. Consider yourself warned. read more

My dogs board here every month and don't seem stressed or unhappy when they leave. They rush through the doors when I bring them here. What I love about this place is I get daily pictures/videos texted to me. Some of the kennels you get to watch your dog on the webcam. A lot of places charge extra for those amenities. Front counter employees are very friendly but lack training. We were misinformed on 3 different occasions regarding their overnight boarding cost. First time we dropped off our 2 dogs, we were told a certain price upon dropping off, and it ended up being double when we picked up. Apparently they forgot to tell us the price was PER dog. We accepted the mistake and figured there would be no further issues in the future. The 2nd drop off was worse! We dropped our 2 dogs off and requested the bungalow. The young lady told us the Suite was the exact same price as the bungalow but was an upgrade, so we went with it. We picked up the dogs a few days later and a different young lady told us we owed more than $300! My jaw hit the ground and I told her she made a mistake because the other young lady gave us a different price. She said she couldn't do anything about it and that the other girl just made a mistake. It was a costly mistake for me. The finally straw was the 3rd drop off. I dropped off the 2 dogs for 1 night and was told it would be $38 total for 1 night. I asked twice just to make sure. Guess what... the next day (Sunday) I picked them up and the SAME girl told me it would be around $60 because they charge half days on Sundays. She FAILED to mention that to me when I dropped off the dogs the day before!!! Needless to say, we will NEVER go back! I also noticed that on every occasion, there is never a manager around. Unfortunately I blame the management for lack of training, and for lack of supervision. -------------------------------------- Response to message below... Yes we've been boarding since 2014 but it's always been my wife dropping the dogs off. These 3 instances were MY first time dropping them off. Second, I don't visit your website so I'm not aware of prices posted there. Third, I spoke with a manager the day after the events because the young ladies told me I had to wait till the next day. Fourth, you're STILL not addressing the fact that your employees gave me incorrect information and pricing. I guess it's MY fault that they told me wrong prices and I should just be ok with it... Also, why are your customers being charged half day on Sunday just because you guys decide to open at 3:00? I guess it is what it is, but your employees should relay this info before hand. read more

Just got back from vacation and picked up my fur baby I was so excited to see her. They brought her out to me and I was horrified to see her kennel I brought her in to be pooped on, her beds we brought her and her bowels to eat from and be comfortable with were missing and she was left with a rag to sleep with. When we asked for her things they had to go looking in other kennels for her beds, only one bed was found. I tried my hardest to justify why her things were missing when I paid for her to have a private room. I got her out to see her before we left and she smelled of pee. I would not recommend this place to anyone for pet boarding! Worst experience for me even worse for my fur baby she couldn't wait to get out of there. If I could my rating would be 0 stars read more

This place used to be great but the staff the owner has there now are totally incompetent. I have a dog that they claim is aggressive and yet tell me to give him a pill and bring him back tomorrow. It took them 5 hours to discover this. If he is indeed that way they would not want him back. Maybe they didn't want my business or cant do the job. Good luck in voicing your disappoint with them since only one seems to speak English. So Owner beware...Bad business and too many other salons in the area!! I went to pick my dogs up as scheduled, even showed up early but no one was there to meet me. I waited for over an hour outside and tried various forms of contact without any luck. This review is for the cage-free boarding and bathing. We left our dog (a 100 lb. lab mix) with Fetch over a holiday weekend last summer, and we were so happy! He came back to us clean and smelling good, and exhausted from all of his play time with the other pups. I was so happy to find a place that offers cage free for large dogs as our pup isn't crated at home and hates being isolated, especially around other playful dogs. If he can smell or hear them, he wants to be part of the action. He had a couple nicks and scrapes, but I chalk that up to a good time - he gets those when we take him to play with his buddies and to the dog parks too. read more

All I want to say about Fetch is that we walked away extremely satisfied. my dogs were super playful when we picked them up and slept the entire day when we got home. When we arrived to pick them up, the dogs were outside - which i certainly appreciated considering that they knew we were coming to pick up our dogs that morning. It would have been easy enough for them to keep them in the kennel and not worry about them until we picked them up. That said a lot about the place to me. What happened to that dog on the news was because another dog jumped the 6 foot fence and after reading statements made by Fetch Pet, it is clear they took responsibility and paid all the vet bills. What happened to that dog is very sad and I hope he makes a full recovery but this was not a case of neglect on behalf of fetch pet resort as some people are trying to make it. read more

I took my dog here for boarding while I was out of town and it seems like he was very happy. They offer to give them doggy ice cream for an extra $3 while you're away along with a report card everyday. The girls seem super nice. The prices are so affordable and doggy day camp is only $9 for a half day for a single dog if you want to socialize your babies. They also send you report cards so you can see how happy they are during their stay :) read more

I took my small dog (schnauzer mix) to be groomed here. The front desk lady is very nice but the groomer came out, didn't say a word to me nor did she pet or speak to my dog.....she simply stooped over, scooped him up and walked away with him. Two hours later I was called and told that they were unable to complete his groom and that I would have to take him to the vet to be sedated if I wanted his groom to be complete. I asked what he was doing and was told that he was jumping around and had pee'd all over the grooming table. I have groomed my dog numerous times myself at home and I have never had any problems with him. However, I don't deny that he was most likely jumping around, but that may have been due to the fact that the groomer did not talk to him or allow him to get to know her before beginning her work on him. I asked if she would complete the groom if I came over to hold him for her. They agreed. I held my dog and he was perfect and the groom was completed. I did notice a small nick under his eye while I was holding him and I asked the groomer if she had accidently nicked him and she flatly stated, "I didn't nick him, HE probably did it while trying to remove the muzzle." I used to be a professional groomer and I'm pretty sure I groomed dogs that were way more difficult than MY dog was for this groomer, not to mention had dogs pee and poop on my table. My dog is typically very obedient and lovable. I think if she had taken the time to talk soothingly to him and had one of the bathers or other office staff help her hold him, things would have gone smoothly. I WAS going to board one of my other dogs here when I go on vacation in the near future, but because they didn't appear able to control my small dog during grooming, I don't feel comfortable leaving my larger dog with them because the last thing I need is to be 1800 miles away and have them call me to say my large dog is being "difficult" and that they cannot care for him. read more

I wish there was an option for a zero star rating, because I'm not sure Fetch is even worth the 1 star Yelp is willing to give them. I brought my 6 year golden retriever to Fetch to be bathed and groomed. When I got there, the manager asked how I would like Marley cut. I asked her I'd like to speak with the groomer, but apparently the groomer hadn't started his/her shift yet and therefore was unavailable. At this point, I should've left with my dog. I explained to the manager (again, not the groomer) in detail how I wanted my dog to be trimmed. I even showed her with my hands the length I wanted behind each of her 4 legs, tail, and body. I STRESSED to her near 5 times that I DID NOT under any circumstances want my dog shaved and that when I pick her up, she still needs to look like a golden retriever. As I was explaining to her my wishes, another customer in the background told me about how he shaves his golden each summer and he loves it. I told him that I'm glad his dog loves it but my dog is not being shaved because they have a harder time regulating their body temperature and an increased risk of heat exhaustion/sunburn when they are shaved. I again at this point looked at the manager and told her that I did not want my dog shaved. From what I gathered from our interaction, she understood what I was talking about. I picked up my dog 2.5 hours later and guess what, SHE HAD BEEN SHAVED. I am irate, pissed off, and disgusted with Fetch's lack of ability to train their managers on listening to what their paying client is looking for. I do not care about what your summer cut is and I do not care about the small piece of paper next to your computer that lists the different options for a cut. I am paying for what I want for MY dog to look like and not for what your standardized cutting guidelines have to offer. The manager called me after I left apologizing profusely and told me that they would offer me a discount the next time I bring my dog in, and I told her that my dog would never be coming back. My husband returned to Fetch to ask for a refund and a receipt for our purchase, at which point the manager kept referring to her flipping 1/4 of an inch guideline and the fact that alls that happened was a small miscommunication. My dog has been groomed over 30 times in her 6 years of life and NEVER have I had any issues with a groomer until today. It is not my fault that your managers are not trained to listen to their clients and it is absolutely unacceptable that they proceeded to do to my dog exactly what I asked them not to do to her. I ended up receiving a full refund from the owner of the company, as well as a credit toward out next bathe and trim, which I appreciated. Next time I will have a conversation directly with the groomer. read more

I give this place 2 stars just because my dogs came back alive. I picked this place based on everyone's reviews as I had never boarded my dogs in the area before, but my dogs did not have as pleasant experience as everyone else's dogs. My dogs got in a fight with each other, allegedly, which if they did is understandable as they were probably stressed out and in too close quarters. However, my dominant dog had the majority of the injuries and my follower dog had a barely visible "scratch." I don't think THEY got in a fight. My hurt dog is ok and the scratches are mostly not a big deal, but I'm unsettled that I was told the truth on that. When I picked them up they both had their harnesses on entirely wrong. How do you run a kennel and not know how a harness works? Both dogs wiggled out of them on the drive home and had I not noticed they would have stepped out of the car and not been leashed to anything. Also my dogs smelled really really REALLY bad when I picked them up and when I bathed them the water turned entirely black. Granted I didn't pay for a bath, but if a dog is THAT dirty either give a courtesy bath or offer one to the customer. The worst part is I TIPPED them because they had that option on the pay screen that you couldn't move forward until you tipped or bypassed and I figured they seemed nice so sure why not tip. Regret giving that 10 dollar tip the second I got in the car, which they got entirely muddy FYI. They also had my number ENTIRELY wrong and I didn't receive their daily puppy report cards. The number they had for me wasn't a number or two off. It was entirely wrong. How? Who knows. I won't board them there again. read more

I would highly recommend people NOT use Fetch Pet Resort as a boarder. My dog died in their care and although he was older, he was in perfect health when we left him there for a weekend stay and grooming. They never could adequately explain what exactly happened. They just stated his breathing suddenly became laborous and they wasted precious time trying to call me (at a wedding, which they knew about) for approval to take him to the vet instead of simply just doing the humane thing by getting immediate care for a dog that was in obvious distress. I find it interesting that his "distress" started immediately after a grooming. My dog was a bit cantankerous and I have my suspicions that the groomer may have done something to him. Of course it's pure speculation on my part, but bottom line...my dog died in their care and they did not handle the situation appropriately. read more

We have been taking our dog Delilah there for a couple of years. Just recently we brought our new dog Tess to the cage free boarding. I was nervous because Tess is a runner and I worry when she is left in the care of someone else. Just as I expected she was well taken care of. Kaitlyn the manager assured me she would be fine. I left her there fri-sun. I like that their hours our flexible and the facility is so clean. I will for sure be bringing my dogs back. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to leave your animals. Everyone there is super friendly. I also had Tess bathed on her last day there. I picked her up and she smelled so good. Upon our return, they brought out two dogs (schnauzer's) and tried to give my husband one leash and me the other one ever though they were not our dogs. They looked surprised but took them back and after awhile brought out our dog. Of course, we had taken food and left his leash there. So they went back to get his food and leash but couldn't find the leash. They had us look in a big box of unclaimed leashes and finally found ours. Also, we paid for a exit bath - however it doesn't look or smell like he had a bath. He is house trained, but when we got him home - now he's peeing on the floor. I'm not sure what happened to him while he was there, but we will not be returning to the center. read more
