The started to feel as though the pricing was getting too high for my household. Especially after the receptionist told me at my last appointment that there would be another price increase...making my next grooming service $170. After explaining that I may have to shop around for other places she did offer to waive that increase for now (which I appreciated) When I got home from my dog's appointment I felt compelled to call around to see if this price was standard. One local shop told me over the phone the cut I wanted would be $110. So right then and there I thought wow that's a big savings. Before I could schedule with that place my boarding facility had a groomer that I decided to give a chance. Well, I was able to get a typical poodle cut/shaping (the same I got at Spoiled Mutts) for $85 dollars before tip. Spoiled Mutts has always been good to my fur babies but I just can't justify their pricing anymore.

Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

So now: * My cat Tilly was stressed in a crate for over an hour for no reason * My time was wasted * Your front desk staff had to deal with a frustrated client (I know it's not entirely their fault they are doing their best and are very kind) * Your clinic lost a customer entirely All over a single dose of medication that could have easily been honored. Annabelle departed this life and we were treated with the utmost of care and comfort anyone could imagine. Now, we have one-year-old Emma. Emma began her care at The Zoo for her first examination as soon as she arrived at our home. She is cared for with the same loving care. Never have I had a negative experience at Atascazoo. Couple of weeks ago I had to board my babies and they were required to have their influenza. No choice was given that I had to pay for the booster shot the same day they got the influenza shot. I was specifically told that I would come in and the technician will give the booster shot and no other exam was necessary. I just left the location and they wanted to charge me a technician fee (check vitals). I was lied to and they lied to the right one today. The young girl at the checkout gonna tell me that it was a misunderstanding, well it could've been but not on my end. It's time for me to make the change.

When he walked out from the back of the grooming salon I noticed he was walking extremely slow. I thought he was doing that because he was afraid of the other dogs. He cried as he jumped out of the car and walked toward the house. When we enter the house, I immediately assessed him, I found that 3 out of all 4 of his paws had been burned, as shown in the photos.
