I loved Toxic Wings. I used to come here for my burger fix. Then on a recent visit, I ordered to-go (double-cheeseburger is what I normally order), got home to unwrap and enjoy all that (normally) delicious burger goodness and my bite included a strand of hair in the patty. You'd think I'd be grossed out (well, I was but wait...) but knowing that Toxic had that delicious burger goodness I always craved, I let that first bite slide by and was still hopeful. Second bite. This time, a "clump" of hair. Not one strand, not two, but several strands, therefore a "clump." I couldn't take it. I was willing to forgive one strand, I understand anybody can have an off day. A clump was too much to take. I haven't been back since. I'm disappointed, frustrated because I love this place but I just couldn't stomach coming back. Maybe someday I'll be back. Our kids loved the wings tossed in Sweet BBQ and Pesto Ranch but thought the Garlic Parmesan was too salty and dry. The grown ups really enjoyed the Raspberry Habanero. I recommend the sweet potato fries! We will be back, lots of other flavors to try, and the burgers looked really good too. read more

This place is delicious and clean. Lots of young kids working but they are friendly enough. The sliders and burgers are great. I wish they offered to toss the wings in sauce. But that's just me. They have outdoor seating, they serve beer and Portland Ketchup. Hop Valley is on tap, nice touch. No A/C was kind of a bust, it's been hot lately and a/c is a must with our little one sometimes, but they are quick with to go orders. read more

My husband and I ordered take out and our order was wrong. We ordered two sliders and got one hamburger instead. If we lived closer we would have gone back to fix it. We also ordered wings. They were incredibly over cooked, way too crispy and really small. The fries tasted like they came from McDonalds and there was nothing special about the burger either. I enjoyed my first visit to Toxic; they use quality ingredients and care about their end product. My chicken was perfect and I liked that I could dip mine in wonderful spicy-sweet raspberry habenero and my wife could try it bland. My wife's burger was a little bland for me and good for her. Overall the prices are a smidge high for burgers and wings, but the quality is there. I will be back. read more

What a great find! I don't often venture out to West Eugene, but this place is worth it. My chicken salad was made with spinach and other non-iceberg greens, sliced chicken breast and fresh toppings. (A real find for $5)! My wings were perfect- crispy but not overdone, and had great flavor even without sauce! I really appreciated the staff making sure I found what I wanted and checking in. My grass fed burger wrapped in lettuce was FABULOUS, the service was GREAT, & even the fries were yummy! I tasted some wings too & they were FANTASTIC! I LOVE wings and had high hopes for something so close to home but unfortunately it was not to be. I had read the reviews so I knew they were smoked but I guess I didn't realize it would make such a difference. I opted for the lemon pepper sauce. The wings were crispy & crunchy which I liked, but I felt like I was eating a turkey leg from the taste and the sauce was flavorless. I had leftovers I tried at home with buffalo hot sauce but couldn't cover the strong smoky flavor. If that's your thing I think you'll enjoy them. read more

We ordered the sliders, a couple doubles and the toxic burger. Have not tried the wings and probably never will. The burgers were small, unseasoned and just boring. They dressed it up with common toppings, but anyone can do that. The fries were previously frozen. I regret paying for this meal and frankly, carl's jr. makes a better burger for cheaper. This place is overpriced and the food is not that great. The food serving size is not on par with the money they charge. If you want Real. Good.GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, Food. Check out Junkyard Dogs in Lancaster, north of Junction CIty or the Long Branch in Monroe. We will never return to this establishment and will never recommend toxic burger to anyone, ever. Went there this morning and had the pulled pork breakfast burrito. DO NOT GET THIS as it's a complete rip off. They should have called it the hash brown potato burrito. It was a joke for $8.50. When the waitress asked me how it was, I said, "It was a whole lotta potatoes and hardly any pork at all." The only thing I didn't like about this place was how small it was. The wings and fries are great though. Their boneless wings are HUGE compared to other places. Prices are okay. I am a huge fan of this place!! Let me tell you briefly why I am a huge fan. Very high quality ingredients, especially the grass-fed beef. I am a very conscientious eater, hence I am selective about where I eat and the businesses I support. Toxic is a local business that sources ingredients from local farms. Loved the local grass-fed beef the taste and quality were amazing, though the patties small, get the double. The buns are made local by a bakery down the block each morning. Their wings are delicious though when they tell you they use rice oil or something healthy like that, you don't expect it. Their sauces are so good, and if you scoff at most places who say the word "spicy" your in for a treat. Make sure to ask about off-menu sauces too. Holy cow; I had the 12 bone in wings, and the husband had 10 boneless (we could've sized down, but are happy to have our leftovers in these takeout boxes). Not only were the wings crispy and perfect, all 4 of the creative sauces we chose were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and informative for us newbies and assured us that almost all of their items are certifiably GF. Try the apricot chipotle and chili maple lime sauce. One star and I don't actually mean just one start overall. I've been to this restaurant 4 or 5 times and loved everything I've eaten. The burger is a little overrated but still decent. Here's the problem. I've been waiting and waiting for just the right Thursday to try their Philly steak sandwich. We arrived at 5:50 pm and they were sold out. I was so disappointed that we decided not to stay and we ate somewhere else. That is their Thursday special, who runs out of their special before the dinner rush even starts? That's a bad sign. I'm giving it 3 stars because my last order the chicken was tough and over cooked :( AND I got one of the sauces instead of the two that come with the meal... Ahem, their wings are usually nice and if it was a month ago this three stars would have been four. The place is small so limited seating but the food is mostly worth it (again this is reviewing my last order). The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions.
