    Blueberry Yogurt Piece Cake
    Clara Shao Yen L.

Lightly sweet and delightfully fluffy blueberry yogurt cake. The chocolate ganache tart is luxuriously rich and decadent. Just as it should! Conveniently located, it is a mandatory stop at my grocery runs to H Mart.

Quick service, pretty good ube latte! No espresso in it tho. Im gonna try making it at home but I liked the drink for the flavor. I also recommend their milk breads!

We go to this specific HMart because of this French asian bakery. I'm a sucker for bread & pastries and 10/10 times, I will walk out with something. We always come early in the morning so it's nice to see them bringing everything out freshly baked. My favorites are the croque monsieur, sweet frank roll, & the milk cream bread. Soft & light bread & not overly sweet. Drink options are plenty but they have an ube latte that everyone raves about. Service is always good. Very clean establishment & a huge food court seating area to enjoy your drink & treats.

    Peach Cream Cake

Friendly staff, clean, and the best peach cream cake! This cake is the perfect amount of sweet and isn't overloaded with cream. Oh, my other favorite item is their butter cream bread. It has this sweet cream between the buns, making an easy cream sandwich.

Green tea roll cake - so good!

Green tea roll cake is so good! Not too sweet at all. Comes unsliced, so I sliced it myself into 8 servings.

Here is what Google says is lemonade "Not sparkling water" like manager told us

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Buy your pastries and drinks somewhere else! HORRIBLE ADVERTISING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. As someone who's family has been buying their cakes for family members for years. Spending lots of money, they have officially lost our support. In THREE different spots they have falsely advertised "Matcha Lavender Lemonade" However when we left and tried it we realized it in fact is NOT LEMONADE! When we walked back to the counter and requested for a refund the manager rudely told us "In Korea Lemonade is sparkling water"....umm okay thats cool but we ARENT in Korea we are in America and most people who visit this bakery wouldn't know that. I even called our Korean family and friends and they also said they have NEVER heard of that. So than I googled it and Google says the same thing. The reason we are upset is not because of the $7 we lost but because some people get upset stomachs from sparkling drinks! Us being one of them, and I know we aren't the ONLY ones! Its also how she spoke to us and the way they are DESEVING people the way they are falsely advertising this drinking in all their signs....I mean how hard would it be to print a sticker and put it next to the drink name that says "Sparkling" Makes me wonder what else they are falsely advertising ‍ We would also have been less upset if she couldn't refund us for THEIR mistake that the manager at least offered to have a different drink made??? I've worked in customer service for 25 years and NEVER would I treat a customer the way she treated this. She refused to provide her name when asked as well! I hope this review will help people think twice before giving them their service and consider going to a different Korean Bakery. I will be writing to Hmart, yelp and post on reddit to inform as many people as possible of how this manager didnt care about their false advertisements, upsetting people's stomach and instead of being understanding tried to make us feel stupid about what she considered "Lemonade" I attached 3 photos of the multiple spots its advertised in correctly. I HOPE she learns to treat people with better respect.

Wow! This pop-up bakery inside H-Mart food court is just delicious. They serve Asian/french fusion pastries that are freshly baked every day. You can tell as all of them are soft, fresh, and delicious. They do have self-serve pastries as well as served chilled cakes and other treats. We tried some of the croissants and breads and were all delicious. We also tried their shaken espresso with vanilla and oat milk. The coffee was delicious and the espresso was very smooth. The service was great and the workers prepped our drinks perfectly and quickly. The store is very clean and the food court has plenty of treats if you like to enjoy on site. Will be coming back; this place is great!

    Lychee strawberry

I have tried almost every bakery in Irvine and this is my fave! Ive tried their mocha, blueberry yogurt (my go to), and this time the lychee strawberry which was soooooo good! I cant believe the low ratings despite the subtle sweetness, quality ingredients, and tasteful yet minimal cake design.

Tous Les Jours is located in HMart. It's similar to a 85 degree cafe or a Sumnery, offering a wide range of pastries, cakes and coffees. It's nice and bright and white, you can't miss it. Their customer service has always been friendly and approachable. Their pastries and cakes are very good. We get the cakes for parties and are always a hit. The most recent time, I was able to get the Butter Pecan latte off their Fall menu. Sooooo good!

Strawberry tiramisu (candles and happy birthday sign not included); and no, my kiddo didn't turn 12yo, lol
    Frances G.

So my kiddo wanted a tiramisu cake for her birthday. I checked around multiple bakeries, and although I did find a few that had the traditional tiramisu cake, this Tous les Jours location had a strawberry tiramisu cake that piqued my interest. This bakery is located inside the H Mart in the Northpark Plaza at the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Culver Drive. H Mart is on the other end of the plaza (closer to Central Park Avenue, which runs parallel to Culver), and the bakery is also on that side, the left side of H Mart. FYI, the other Tous les Jours location in Westpark Irvine is also inside H Mart but much smaller. The 7" strawberry tiramisu cake ($40) is made from layers of mascarpone cheese, strawberry sponge cake, and strawberry puree. Just in case kiddo wanted the traditional one, I also got a petite tiramisu ($8.50), which is a spoonable single serve (they also have a 6" square tiramisu cake for $40). Since I was there, I also got a bunch of baked goods - crookie ($4.50), sesame donut ($2.75), blueberry muffin ($3.95), chocolate muffin ($3.95), foliage sausage bread ($4.50), jalapeño cheese croissant ($3.95), and butter cream bread ($7.45). The strawberry tiramisu cake was yummy! A bit much of mascarpone for me, but the puree balanced out the creaminess with its tartness and sweetness. Of course, kiddo ate the strawberry tiramisu AND single serve tiramisu and enjoyed both. I was excited to try the crookie, the viral (maybe not so viral anymore) croissant with chocolate chip cookie dough baked on it. I thought it was just on top, but the cookie was also on the bottom, like a sandwich, so there's plenty of cookie to go with every bite of croissant. Very good, but got too sweet for me. I really liked their muffins, too. Unlike a regular muffin, the blueberry muffin had blueberry filling inside, and the chocolate muffin had hazelnut filling inside. I've been hooked on their sesame donuts lately. They're like a baked ball of mochi dough with black sesame seeds - light, crackily on the outside, thin and quite chewy, and mildly sweet compared to the other baked goods. The staff were nice and welcoming, and I guess they still had some 2025 calendars left so they gave me one since I spent so much (I think they were giving them out at end of 2024 when certain amount spent).

    Meager offerings for $31.20
    Fran L.

I used to like this Korean Bakery place because of my love for the semisweet cream filling and inexpensive offerings! But, now the place has gone down in terms of quality, price and most notably their seriously uncool service. The three ladies who were working there were such a terrible example of how not to run any service oriented shops. The place is next door to a busy grocery store. Everyone buys groceries and turn a few steps into the open bakery shop where they display their products in the display cases. As soon as you walk in with the full shopping cart, the most unfriendly lady comes out and ask in the loudest voice, who is the cart belongs to. After I bought $34 of pretty expensive tasteless baked goods, mostly white butter cream filled breads, each of the loaf priced at above $7 each, the lady at the counter was also very unfriendly! I asked to split the orders into two bags since I was going to gift them to two different families, she grabbed the tiniest bag for one small item. I had to ask her twice to get a little larger bag. I hope that they will train their staffs better in the future or they will lose the customers quickly. There are some of the finest bakery shops in Irvine.

Still ventured to try it Two guys working, one said he was new, and didn't know where all the flavors were / allowed us to try some b4 we ordered but was a pain bc the flavors were spread between two freezers in front of store and whatever was in the back. Placed an order for 3 double scoop cups (all they had) and took a really long time to make them having to figure out where the flavors were between the front and back of store. Then. They didn't have lids to cover them or a bag to put them in - so we literally covered each cup with another cup and put in a box I had from Costco in my trunk to get them home without dripping everywhere in my car. And I say dripping everywhere bc by the time he finished the last cup/. The others were melted from taking so long. They should probably just stick to donuts if they can't fully support the ice cream products. If I knew now/ I wouldn't have chosen to try there for ice cream. Very unfortunate, bc we probably would have loved the ice cream - but the experience clearly trumped the product.

My favorites were definitely the lavender, pistachio, and the Italian chocolate. The lavender was the most unique and would absolutely be the one I bring to wow new people. The pistachio was rich, creamy, and really well balanced. The Italian chocolate was deeply chocolatey, exactly how I like it, and I finished the whole thing in one sitting. The rose flavor is definitely for people who truly enjoy rose desserts. The strawberry was the only one that did not fully match my expectations from a high end bakery. The tiramisu was decent, more cream-forward and lighter on the coffee flavor than I expected. Overall, these pastries are definitely on the sweeter, cream-based side, and honestly, that is exactly what made them so good to me. I do not want desserts to be less sweet, I want them to feel indulgent and perfect, and these did. I will absolutely keep going back, especially for the lavender, chocolate, and pistachio pastries.

They also have whole cakes available without having to preorder but the flavors depends on days so it's worth to get a birthday cake here. Instead, he recommended the *Creamtella* and their matcha beverages. I was absolutely blown away; who would have thought that *Cheesetella's matcha drinks would be this delicious?! There is a wide selection of matcha drinks available in-store. The owner mentioned that they use high-quality matcha (I'm guessing he meant ceremonial grade?), and he even showed me their preparation process--specifically how they whisk it to achieve that smooth, "mirror-like" finish! Matcha Einspanner Personally, I prefer this kind of simple flavor profile: matcha blended with a rich, thick cream topping. It offers a satisfyingly subtle tea aroma with every sip--a true delight for any matcha enthusiast! Strawberry Matcha w/ Pistachio Cream If you love strawberries and enjoy sweet flavors, you'll likely enjoy this one. However, since I'm not personally a huge fan of the combination of strawberry jam and matcha, I felt just "okay" about it--though it is a tasty drink! The pistachio cream topping definitely earns some extra points here! Creamtella The combination of cream and cake gave me a whole new appreciation for their pastries. The cream perfectly counteracts the cake's tendency to be a bit dry; together, they make for a truly perfect pairing! You absolutely *must* give this a try!! It gets a huge thumbs-up from me! Chocotella This one is fairly standard and straightforward. The small chocolate pieces add a nice textural element, and the flavor is a definite plus--especially if you're a chocolate lover! However, the cake itself leans a bit toward the drier side--much like their original plain flavor (which is why I still highly recommend going for the versions with added cream!) To be honest, the first time I tried their cakes, I wasn't particularly impressed. Later, I saw posts suggesting that heating them up before eating makes them taste much better. But this time, the *Creamtella* truly blew me away, completely changing my opinion of the brand. And the matcha drinks are just the icing on the cake! The owner is genuinely a wonderful person--so friendly and enthusiastic! Since it's just him and one other employee working in the shop, making the drinks takes a little time, so please be patient! ^_^

I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.
