I've been here a lot and the food is pretty good but today it was off. The walnut cranberry scope was so dry and hard. The Parisian omelet had so many onions in it that was all you could taste and unfortunately the Farmer's omelette barely had any goat cheese making half the omelet dry. The final straw was they don't refill coffee when you are dining in. What restaurant doesn't refill your coffee when you are eating in and charges if you want more? I went into Pandor today and I placed a large order consisting of many drinks and croissants. Order taker Alexis and barista Micheal helped me out even though there was a line forming. They made sure that everything was correct and went above and beyond to make sure that the almond croissants stayed separate from the other croissants to prevent cross contamination for a nut allergy. They even helped me out by bringing the three boxes of croissants and two cup carriers of drinks out to my car, so I wouldn't have to carry everything by myself. The customer service stands out compared to other coffee shops around. I always enjoy coming to Pandor and this interaction added another reason to make the drive. read more

Came here for breakfast and loved their breakfast sandwich. The bread was so fresh and delicious. Service was nice, but also could've been a little warmer. This is a type of place you order at the cashier, get a number, then sit. It was a bit chaotic and crowded, so I wish there was a better system bc I ordered, but couldn't find a table because people were saving spots while their friends/family was in line to order. I didn't have a place to sit for a while and it was a lot to try and fight for a spot. That was the only drawback. Will probably come back but maybe when it's less crowded. read more

Very disappointing experience at Pandor Bakery in the Tustin Marketplace tonight, September 1. We came in specifically for carrot cake. There was only one pre-cut slice left, and it visibly did not look fresh. There were bubbles of moisture/condensation on the top of the package, and when we asked the employee about it, she was actually honest and told us the slice was not fresh and had been sitting there for multiple days. Right next to it was a beautiful, fresh, full carrot cake. I asked if they could simply cut us one fresh slice from the new cake since there was only ONE old slice remaining. The employee politely went to ask the manager. The manager, who appeared very young, had headphones in, didn't smile, looked annoyed to even be there, and responded with an attitude: "No, use that one." So we left. I could understand the decision if there were 5-10 perfectly good slices already cut and they needed to sell through them first. But there was literally one old slice left -- a slice their own employee acknowledged had been sitting for multiple days -- while a fresh cake was sitting right there. If you cut one slice from the fresh cake, what exactly is the loss? You would have made a sale and kept a loyal customer happy. Instead, the priority seemed to be stretching out an old product rather than providing someone with something fresh. I've been a faithful customer, but this experience lost my business. If the goal is to stretch old product as long as possible, eventually you may find yourselves stretching your wallet too, because customers notice when quality and service stop being the priority. Great experience! This is such a cute café with a lovely European vibe, which I absolutely love. The cashier was very accommodating and such a sweet girl. There are lots of bakery options, and I especially enjoyed the lavender coffee. I'm looking forward to trying more next time! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped by Pandor Bakery on Jamboree and had a really nice experience! If you're into French pastries, this is a fun spot to check out. I tried the Pandor Fog, a Nutella crepe, and a coffee éclair. Even though it was a warm day, I still really enjoyed the Pandor Fog. It was warm, comforting, and paired really well with all the pastries. The Nutella crepe definitely satisfied my sweet tooth, and the éclair was fresh and creamy. One of my favorite parts was just looking through the pastry case. There are so many different pastries, tarts, croissants, and éclairs that it's honestly hard to choose just one. The vibe is cozy and relaxed. Personally, I think it's more of a place to grab coffee, pastries, and catch up with friends than somewhere I'd spend hours studying, and I actually like that about it. I've been here multiple times but this place is one of my favorite French cafe. The interior is small with table and booth seatings, you order at counter and sit yourself. I've tried the sandwiches, tarts, crepes, and coffee and all are solid. Sandwiches are generous with filling, also love the omelette since they don't skimp out on the portion. I'm a Tustin local and have been coming here almost every day for my morning coffee. I usually walk here from my home with my beautiful husky, and until today, I've always had a great experience. Unfortunately, today's visit was very different. As I walked in, the cashier immediately and rudely told me that I couldn't have my dog inside while I was ordering. I politely explained that she is my service dog, but instead of handling the situation professionally, the cashier continued insisting I couldn't have her inside. She then rolled her eyes and spoke to me in a very dismissive and inappropriate manner in front of other customers. What made the situation even more frustrating was that two other customers walked in with dogs right after me and were not questioned at all. Being singled out like that felt unfair and embarrassing. As someone who supports this business almost daily, I hope management addresses this with the employee. Customer service should always be respectful, especially when discussing service animals. This was, by far, the worst experience I've had here, and it was incredibly disappointing considering how often I've chosen to support this business. read more

I've been to Pandor and honestly it's a good place for coffee & quick pastry grab, however the food here just seems to decline in quality over the years. Le parisien panini was my fav and can you imagine my frustration when I bite into this and find a sum of two tiny cornichons sliced in half. The concept of this place is great but execution just keeps to miss, I wish the management paid more attention to the quality of food they serve to people. My honest advice to anyone who adores this place is do yourself a favor and visit L'Orange cafe in orange circle, they have exactly same pastries and menu and they actually put effort into the food. read more

Pandor is my wondor. The elegant sinplicity of this cafe/bakery keeps me coming back. My go to is the soup and bread which is already some of my favorite food types. The soup is simple yet complex. Always comes out hot and always comes with delicious bread to dip it in. It's not made to stuff you to the brim if that is what you are looking for, but it's great for brunch and snack time. Their Nutella cortado is amazing with the right amount of milk and Nutella to cut down on the severe acidity of regular cortados. Wonderful place. It's just that nothing in particular is spectacular or notable with everything seeming adequate in terms of portion sizes and quality. The coffee drinks also meet basic standards for you're typical espresso or machine pour coffee, but nothing to attract devoted coffee aficionados. Ambiance: 4 out of 5 What is attractive about Pandor is its ample seating inside offering ample room between all guests and patrons. Non-seated space is open and the color scheme of the store is bright but not overwhelming, matching the colorful pastries in the display cases. There is a TV playing above the entrance playing European news that adds to the pseduo-Euro theme. Service: 4 out of 5 Overall everyone is pleasant and attentive, including during the busiest times of the day. Kudos to the hard workers who bus tables quickly once customers leave. Price: 3.5 out of 5 Nothing particular of note, but fair pricing even in an expensive area such as Tustin Marketplace Overall: 3.75 With limited sit-down coffee options in the market place as of the pending of this review, Pandor does stand out as a slower paced and welcoming option. Pandor is a dessert place near the Irvine Market place. We ended up going here since the line for Handel's was too long, but there was plenty of free parking and good choices to pick from. There's lots of different types of indoor seating, so it's good for small groups in a casual setting. They are open a little later, so it's a good post-dinner sweet treat, too. I tried their highly recommended Vietnamese ice coffee and it was no where close to what a Viet coffee taste like. They have sour beans and I don't like sour tart coffee. I didn't enjoy it at all. If you like the sour tarter beans then you might like this coffee. I also ordered their Italian sandwich which is good in terms of their fresh baguette but there is only like one thin slice of proschuitto in between all the tomato and mozzarella for $12. Wasn't worth it to me. They should atleast put a few slices of meat so it doesn't taste like a vegetarian sandwich with a hint of meat. The parking is a bit of a pain because you need to go through their parkade and not a quick in and out coffee stop. They do validate and have a machine at their counter to validate your parking. I most likely won't be back. However their interior is very nice! read more
