On a few occasions they have helped us to get the best product for the best price even if was at a different business. If necessary, you can always get your prescription from them and get it filled elsewhere. Their parking lot is pretty small and the entrance and exit are very narrow, so be careful driving and parking here. There is a light to get in and out of their business and it is needed as the street is busy. Even though spaces are limited, we have always been able to get a spot. Recommend giving these guys a try.

They have a very good selection of inexpensive frames for the frugal shopper and for customers that enjoy high end items as well, and everything in between. In addition they have a section just for children's glasses as well One is bound to save with VISIONWORKS in BG, in fact both times i saved more than 40-60% per frame, on 4 frames (saved hundreds) The staff are never pushy about making a sale as they are in other places, and Melissa gave us some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. Dr Tran Is always extremely patient with me and my hundred questions, well maybe only 30 questions, and she is always very thorough with my eye exam. She has 3 machines that test ones eyes and a remarkable NIKON camera (retinal scanner), that although it costs a bit more (i paid $49), is well worth it to make sure one's eyes are healthy, especially if you are over 60 as i am and have hypertension or hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia or two out of 3 as i do My vision is precious to me and after going through a scare last year, Dr Tran's NIKON left me assured that there was no permanent damage to my eyes in an instant, no long wait and sleepless nights, so when they suggested the NIKON exam, i immediately agreed and thank GOD all is well once again

I am…read morenot talking about the optometrist next door, I speaking about the incompetent workers at the vision center that take the prescription and send them out for your glasses. They have absolutely no clue how to do their jobs. I've went back three times now and my glasses are not correct. The first time they ordered the wrong lenses. The second time the frames were completely bent at the nose it literally wrapped around my head. The reason I say three times (is because I had to go back the first time since I didn't notice the lenses were messed up because I was wearing contacts when I picked them up). All the guy could do is blame everyone and everything else on why they couldn't get this right. Seriously, mess up a cheeseburger fine, I'll be mad but it won't hurt. Mess up my only means of seeing which allows me to do daily tasks and that's horrible. Are they even trained? Walmart cooperation really needs to take a good look at this Walmart in general, but especially the vision center. This place operates like a criminal enterprise. I came in for an eye appointment. I have a ton of…read morecontact allergies and I asked beforehand if they would be using anything that I should look into before the appointment. They said no. They took my money before my appointment which I thought was so odd. Then they asked to put drops in my eye. I asked what is in them. One of the elements listed to me was dye which I am extremely allergic to. They cancelled the appointment and told me I could come back after their allergy person figured out if it was safe or not and I would have credit for my next appointment after they refuse to refund me. That allergy woman dodged my calls, refused my list of allergies, and completely dehumanized me. I felt like a dog would have been taken care of better. These are supposed to be the experts helping us navigate our health. Anyway, I spoke to the supervisor who also didn't care, and when I escalated it to my insurance, they required evidence, and since Shammas does everything shady and gave me nothing, even refused to provide a receipt, I was unable to provide that evidence. Welcome to California where healthcare is officially a fraud and doctors are no better for our society than attorneys. What a joke.
