They have a very good selection of inexpensive frames for the frugal shopper and for customers that enjoy high end items as well, and everything in between. In addition they have a section just for children's glasses as well One is bound to save with VISIONWORKS in BG, in fact both times i saved more than 40-60% per frame, on 4 frames (saved hundreds) The staff are never pushy about making a sale as they are in other places, and Melissa gave us some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. Dr Tran Is always extremely patient with me and my hundred questions, well maybe only 30 questions, and she is always very thorough with my eye exam. She has 3 machines that test ones eyes and a remarkable NIKON camera (retinal scanner), that although it costs a bit more (i paid $49), is well worth it to make sure one's eyes are healthy, especially if you are over 60 as i am and have hypertension or hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia or two out of 3 as i do My vision is precious to me and after going through a scare last year, Dr Tran's NIKON left me assured that there was no permanent damage to my eyes in an instant, no long wait and sleepless nights, so when they suggested the NIKON exam, i immediately agreed and thank GOD all is well once again

Terrible experience, had an appointment booked it yesterday. Received a text message saying the…read moreappointment was confirmed yesterday. Did the paper work. And when we arrive the reception, loud enough to hear there is an issue and talking reschedule with us feet away tell us we would have to wait because we didn't verbally confirm an appointment. We did not receive a call prior, we did not receive anything indicating it was facing a reschedule. Paula mentioned someone called yesterday at 4:30 (Gilmore?) but there are no call records, absolutely no voicemail. And Paula mentions it is doctor policy. Insane, and shift the blame stating it is doctor policy. Maybe the doctor wouldn't have to have this policy if the reception actually called to confirm. Anyway their manager will take a week to respond. Gave me the business card to call. Big surprise the number goes to them. Hopefully itzel shares the message. Absolutely time wasted.

Like they're friendly and all but as soon as i didn't want to make a purchase they switched up and were so upset i didn't want to purchase anything else. In this state of the world do you really think i have the money to just willy nilly buy new glasses if the ones i have are perfectly fine?? hello??? like why so shocked? am i going crazy??

Apparently they don't accept digital copies of prescriptions, and they also don't have your prescription on file between locations. Costco Optical might genuinely be one of the most frustrating technology experiences I've dealt with. Thankfully, Marcie took the time to actually help me figure out a solution. Norwalk happens to be closer to me anyway, and she made what had been a frustrating situation much easier. I really appreciate when someone is genuinely helpful and actually tries to solve the customer's problem instead of just saying, "Sorry, we can't do that." Thank you, Marcie. You did a great job and I really appreciate your help. I can finally have contacts to drive home at night.

The salesperson recommended transition lenses for the car, so I could go from sun to indoors, such as going into the store. She showed me a demonstration pair, which changed from clear to sunglasses. When I got them, I wore them into Home Depot, but they never changed to clear, only staying as sunglasses. I took them back to Costco, where they said it was probably too bright in Home Depot to change. After continued problems, I took them back today, where they told me they were only intended for driving and going from lighter sunglasses to a darker sunglasses. This is definitely not what I was told or shown. I spent substantially extra for these, for no reason.
