Been coming here for years and it was great! But now that I'm due for an appointment, it says I can only book it through a phone call to them. However, I've been calling since last week making several calls a day, I left 2 voicemails, and no answer. It doesn't even give me the option to book online due to the type of insurance. Will no longer be going to this optometrist after 3 years. First of all they NEVER answer their phones. They say it's recommended to call and make an appointment to avoid longer wait times. I called for 3 days in a row during business hours (not during their lunch break) and they never answered. Secondly the prices are so outrageous. I most definitely got scammed in paying over $800 total. This is my experience for both glasses and contacts. For the glasses during try on the tag price was $150,, not sure why it ended up going from that to paying well over $450. When I asked the person who was assisting with ringing up the prices he couldn't even tell me why I was paying so much. The only thing he could tell me was what I was charged the glasses $150, charged a fee of $98 to take 2 seconds to put my contacts in ($98!!! To try on contacts I've been wearing for over 13 years. I was told I have to pay no exceptions), $36 for glasses protection. That's it! That's all the guy could tell me what I was paying for. I asked multiple times and still have no idea why I was charged so much. For the contacts I was told the price was $320 for a year's worth of biweekly. But was suggested to buy daily's for my dry eye for over $800. Since I'm paying out of pocket I declined and stuck with the weekly's for $330. Only $10 more from the biweeklys. They informed me I had to call them back to order the contacts to try out the new weekly ones. It took another 3 days to finally reach someone for a call back and they informed me the exact same contacts I was inquiring about was now $370. So in a span of less than 5 days the price jumped up $40?!? Funny thing is the receptionist initially tried to say the contacts were $400 but I told her that I was given a cheaper price in person then proceeded to say the actual price was $370. Needing contacts I decided to just pay since I was at work when they finally called me back and I didn't have much time to talk. For the overall experience I had no issues with the optometrists who I seen during the past few years. She was very sweet and answered all my questions. The lack of professional is with the receptionist who never answered the phone but would be in the front as soon as you walk in doing nothing but gossiping. And the guy who rings up the prices who has no idea what people are paying for. The inside is very small in both the waiting area and the back with the glasses. There is a very very small selection of glasses. And the smell of the building is horrendous. Smells worst than a public bathroom. read more

I took my daughter a few years ago and honestly reading all these bad reviews doesn't disappoint me .The lady that showed us the glasses wanted us to buy expensive ones and since we weren't interested she started acting very rude,yes of course I was going to complain I hope she no longer works there.I went back and purchased my daughter (guess) glasses for about $500 quite a lot of money if you ask me ,but I figured why not invest on something she needs .Anyway after that I haven't returned but in most of all the reviews they talk bad about this place I guess I wasn't the only one that was mistreated. read more

Loved the care Dr. Corona gave me, his bedside manner and how he explains what he is doing was impeccable. As per the other comment here, I can see how they complain about the front office not picking up the phone. I called them at 1:50 ( their lunch is supposed to end at 1:45). They did not answer the phone. I had to call 4 other times before I got someone on the line. However, that was not a problem. Literally, if a Doctors office is full of patients and sometime it will take some work to get ahold of someone. The front was very helpful and sweet. Wish they did have a better stock of glasses but it's fine. read more

Customer service is a must if you work in the front office. The inside of the office also needs to be cleaned and repainted - it looks dirty. 1 of the exam machines used as part of the consultation doesn't work well either. I hope they get better. I had been a patient in the past and hadn't been here in about 6-7 years, and after this recent visit I know why I had not been back to them! To make a very long and stressful story short, it took 7 WEEKS to get a pair of glasses ready and delivered to me!!! The Asian Dr. that did my examination was extremely persistent and pushy and insisted that I get progressive lenses even after I expressed that I wasn't interested. I went ahead and got the progressive lenses and after 2 weeks of using them I decided they weren't gonna work for me. I called their office and made a 2nd appointment to have my glasses made how I initially asked, and from that day it took 4 WEEKS to get them back! The only communication I had with their office was when I called to get an update, because they never returned any of my calls. With all of this said, and to top it all off, their prices should be a crime, $400-$900 dollars for some glasses is just robbery. Save yourself a lot money and a headache by not going to this office. There are way too many options to pick from to even give them a try. All they care about is how much money they can make off of you at this establishment. My husband, sons and I will never go back to this place! read more

I attended this facility a few years ago, the service and exams were excellent..... This time around I ordered glasses for my daughter(which they lost) and had to wait additional time. I ordered a second pair for my self and had the most difficult time to get them PAID by my boss....I had to go in person after 2 weeks of calling and never answering the calls or got a returned call back after multiple messages. When I finally spoke to someone I requested a call from manager which severed occurred. I finally went in person and spoke with location manager, she maid NO effort to correct any of her facility errors and just basically made excuses for her mishaps. As a customer I feel this locations priority is to just do the bare minimum to take our funds, the manager does NOT have the capacity to solve anything and all honesty she acted as if she did NOT care about my concerns, sad this is the people serving our Hispanic community, I believe we deserve a lot better... read more

His name is Fabian Corona. Dr. Felicia Chen was my doctor, but for the past 5 years Dr. Corona has been my optometrist. My family also goes with Dr. Corona. When picking out glasses, the lady who helps you always like to add on a bunch of add ons to make your glasses way more expensive than they were intended to be. If you dont speak up you will be spending far more than you need to be. A bit of a manipulative moment. Not enough glasses selections. Too many designer options.. A majority of their glasses selection is designer and really expensive, they dont have enough of the "regular brands" And their style collection is not extensive or diverse. Outdated styles. I would recommend more variety of shapes and colors for the adult section. The child's section is also far too small. Also, staff to patient communication is very poor. Maybe they are dealing with more clients than they can handle... read more

Use to be a really great facility before whoever bought it out. Now when you try to call the office it repeats a voice recording over & over. All I want to do is order a refill on my contact prescription. Which I ALWAYS did over the phone with one of the girls working the lines. Now I have to make a physical appointment to come in when my prescription is still up to date? Will definitely be looking for a new optometrist. read more

Hello, I still have not heard from your office. I've left 3 voicemails and sent an e-mail through your website. I don't get why your office is being so irresponsible and unprofessional. My eye appointment was on 12/31/2021. I went to get my glasses on February 5th and my glasses were sent back for the lenses to be fixed. I called on March 3rd to get an update and you still had not received them back from the lab. Since then, I have not heard back and left a voicemail on 3/8 @10:10am, 3/9 @4:21pm , 3/11 @11:02 and called again on 3/15 @3:09pm. Your general voicemail says that calls will be returned at 1pm the next business day but that is unlikely as I have not received a call back. All I ask is for you to give me the courtesy of call back to advise me of where we stand with my glasses. It's been almost 3 months since my initial appointment and I still have no glasses. Marilyn Hernandez, O.D was extremely helpful! I have been coming here for years and she was so much more informative then my past doctors and showed genuine care about my well-being. The others in the office were so helpful and nice as well. There are hand sanitizers everywhere and they clean and disinfect before and after each patient. I always used to come here but I'm changing my eye doctors. I tried getting my son contacts, so we set the appointment and paid $20 for the eye exam after that, they scheduled him a class I guess bcuz they didn't let me in with him even though he's 12 ! When I came back, I had to pay $100 for that class ! I was already upset that No one had discussed the fees for that class at all ! I even asked if it's going towards his contacts expense but they said no. He didn't get it in one class so we came back for the second time and they tried to tell me to come back for him but this time i forced myself in so I can help too! apparently he couldn't get it either. So the girl said "sorry mom, looks like he's not going to get it, try again in a few years" and that was it !!! Omg I spent $100 for nothing!!! They didn't even let him have the contacts he was trying on so he can practice at home!! I wish I could get my refund or at least those contacts but they didn't give me a thing !!! I'm so upset. They didn't deserve the $100 they took from me because they didn't even help !!!! Never going there Again! read more

First time getting glasses research before you go to your appointment I ended up paying over $164 plus what they charged my insurance for reading glasses that where not even good, I could not real small Letters. The staff is nice and professional (hence the two stars). I can tell management wields harsh discipline. The doctor who I saw was not nice. She was chatty at first. But I wanted to ask questions and she was mean afterward. She seemed more intent on selling me products. They didn't even issue a report or my visual acuity.
