I've called multiple times trying to schedule an appointment, but my calls were repeatedly ended. I was told they were having internet issues, but that explanation was very frustrating considering what happened afterward. Another person and I called around the same time. They answered her call and were able to schedule her an appointment, while they did not answer my call when I called the office number. The voicemail also specifically says to leave a message with your phone number so someone can call you back. I left a message, but I never received a call back. When I finally did speak with someone, I felt that the receptionist was extremely rude toward me, and I also felt that the doctor was rude during the call. I was calling because I was experiencing eye pain and was simply trying to get an appointment. I don't feel that I should have been treated that way, especially as a previous patient. I also want to mention that since receiving care at this office, I've noticed that my vision has gotten worse. I can't say what caused the change in my vision, but it is something I've personally experienced and it has added to my concerns. At this point, I will be looking elsewhere for my eye care. I understand that offices can be busy and that technical issues happen, but patients should still receive basic communication, professionalism, and respect--especially when they are calling because they are experiencing pain. His customer service is top-notch, and he is incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and was genuinely kind and patient throughout the process. Dr. Alina was also wonderful! She was very thorough with my eye exam and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. It's obvious that the team truly cares about their patients and doesn't rush through appointments. Overall, I had a great experience and felt well taken care of. She appeared rushed throughout the visit, was overly impatient, and made uncomfortable facial expressions toward my father that made him feel unwelcome and disrespected. I would not recommend this office to families bringing elderly parents or grandparents. Patients deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and respect, especially older adults who may need assistance from their caregivers. Based on our experience, the customer service and professionalism at this office were very disappointing.
