I've done the whole online thing and I had a bad experience. So I decided to try out a new place near home. I'm glad I did. Nice clean and tidy shop. Small but great selection. Other pairs not in shop can be ordered for you. Couldn't have had a better experience getting my pair of glasses here. I was planning a bit of window shopping but the customer service here was so good that I didn't bother going anywhere else. The staff was very knowledgeable about the glasses and their fit. They made sure the frames I picked out fit my giant head. Would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family. More importantly, the most valuable aspect about visiting Mylinh was that she gave me more information about my eye health. I kept asking questions and she answered all of them while performing her exams. You can't get this with online stores. The only downside was with a rebate. I ordered pairs of contact lenses but the rebate process sucked. As with any rebate, the company makes it so hard for you to redeem it. But that's not Mylinh's fault. Go to Mylinh's! read more

Being a contact lens wearer for over 30 years, I started developing a dry eye problem which caused my vision to fog, especially in the night hours. My eyes were very dry when waking in the mornings. I finally seeked formal treatment with Dr Lam. I would consider her to be an extremely skilled professional who goes beyond what other Drs do for dry eyes. After only 2 treatments, my dry eye issues were improved by about 65%. My contacts were much more comfortable to wear and my erratic blurring was greatly minimized. Dr Lam is one of the early users of one of the newest, effective technologies IPL and RF. This new technology works well beyond the usual supplement eye drops. The treatments work using radio frequency and non-invasive intense pulse light treatment. It's almost like a spa treatment, near painless, but therapeutic for the important glands which produce your tears. It's more a fix to improve your gland production of tears. While we were at it, the procedure also tightened up my aging, sagging eyelid area, and we also removed some unsightly age pigment spots on my cheeks. Came in for my routine eye check up with Dr. Lam, it was quick and that's how I like my health care check ups. Wait time was minimal, the office moved down a couple buildings, and it's much nicer now. Really chic! Really appreciate that the doctor raised the bar in the valley mall and showed how much she appreciates her patients by remodeling the office. Typically I take forever to find a new pair of frames, and it was no different this time. Spent a good hour trying on tons of frames and the staff was very kind and patient. I told them I fall asleep with my frames on and break them often so they pointed me to this Nike frame that was virtually un breakable. Don't know how but I ended up purchasing a pair of frameless Pradas too! Been wanting frameless glasses but im so blind the lens have to be awkwardly thick, the doc said she can custom make them thinner. I think it is very rare to find a doctor that truly cares about your well being nowadays. Dr. Lam has made my experience in her clinic very enjoyable. At every visit, she would carefully do the exam and go over my diagnosis thoroughly. Dr. MyLinh Lam, is very professional and exceptionally caring. She is very thorough with her eye exam and told me things about my eyes that previous optometrists didn't realize before. I have a condition where there is something like a lint inside my eye and I would see its shadow floating by and for the life of me I would try to get it out once in a while and I couldn't. Now I know I was born with it and it's inside my optical lense so there's no removing it. :) Her store has a large affordable as well as designer selection of frames. I also got great contact lense samples to try and I picked out the one day disposable ones that were actually weeklong lenses. I ordered those and what a fantastic deal! Her bilingual Spanish/English assistants were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as well. Dr. Lam is bilingual (English/Vietnamese). The store and exam rooms are new, clean and spacious. I love it! This place was first recommended to me a long while ago by a friend. When I had mentioned again to that same friend, she told me of a new discovery that is better than here, that I've yet to discover, called JINS in the Santa Anita Mall. By that time, I already gotten my exam and everything done already. I am... or was... always been 20/20... until I started working and the need to use computer is in high demand. And so... when I looked in the mirror, it looks like my left eye is starting to wander off and my right eye had been a tad bit blurry if I close my left eye. So, make sure you have an appointment with them, they do not really do well with walk-ins. Call them. Second, they are closed Wednesday, so don't even bother to come (Like me...) Parking: There are parking on the street, but they tend to be pack. There a bigger parking lot across from the store behind the stores. Service: Great service, very attentive.
