They have great customer service in store but they suck at communicating. They stated my glasses would be ready for pickup by Friday and when I called them back the assistant stated she would give me a callback within an hour. I called them back four times after an hour to reach no one. It's just common courtesy to callback and let your client know at least if they weren't going to be ready by COB. Now I have to wait until Monday I'm sure. read more

OMG! This optometrist office has the best service in the area. If I had known about them before, I would went to them earlier. I just went in yesterday to get a quote,and they were super nice. Dr. Ho came out to say hi. Elizabeth explained to me that a Contact Fitting Exam is $95. Price is fair. I also needed to get my glasses adjusted and she did that as well for free and gave me a lens cleaner solution as a gift. I've been coming to Dr. Ho since she opened a couple years ago. Their selection of frames is pretty impressive for the size of the office. Everything from Ray Ban to Prada to Gucci...they're pretty much calling my name every visit! Eye exams are quick yet thorough, but I'd suggest making an appointment. I've been coming here for years...I think it'll be my 7th year now, and I travel from Newport Beach to get here. Dr. Ho is very friendly, personable, and making an appointment with her is fairly easy. Her assistants are all very capable and friendly as well, and they have helped with everything from frames to contact lenses to rebates and more. This has been my go-to optometrist when I was living in the area. The Doctor. there was so nice and informative. I wish I could remember her name because they have two doctors that work at this office. She was the younger one of the two. I came because I had something bugging me in my right eye. Upon further inspection, I found a mark on my eyeball so I decided it was time to see a doctor. Making an appointment was easy and I was able to see the doctor right on time. She was extremely nice and kept calling me sweet heart (hehe). I explained to her my situation and she was able to diagnose that I had a cut on my cornea. I was lucky that it wasn't directly in front of my pupil or else I would never be able to have 20/20 vision. It was my fault because I didn't clean my contact lenses properly. I sure won't make the same mistake again. After the diagnoses, I asked her what I would need to do to fix it. I was told that the medication was extremely pricey. She noticed that I had been going here for some time so instead of writing a prescription, she just gave me a free sample bottle of antibiotics. A 5 ml trial size and was all I needed, so purchasing a larger dose would have been a huge waste of money. I came back a few weeks later for a follow up exam and my cut had been fully healed. Dr. Ho is very friendly and explains things very well. She never sounds like she's rushing you and answers all your questions. Sometimes her explanations can get technical, but don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand. Her assistant is also very helpful and friendly. I called in and got an appointment later the same day, and didn't have to wait too long. The office is a little small, so maybe the selection of frames isn't as varied as some larger optometry offices, but there's plenty to choose from. The office is located in the same plaza as Target with a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Subway, and many other food places nearby. Easy to find parking and Bank of America ATM right outside. read more

Parking: The office is located in a large shopping plaza , therefore parking is free and easy to find. Service: The girls who worked at the office were super sweet and helpful. I spent a large amount of time here picking out the perfect pair of frames for my face and they were available to answer any questions I had about insurance coverage and my glasses. Price: The more "trendy" brands like Ray-Ban, Dior, D&G, & Gucci cost around $200-$300. I would say that is expected. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here. I'm due for a checkup (sorry Dr. Ho! ) but beforehand, I've been with New Vue since day 1!! I'll let the business do the talking but for all the times I've been there, I have never seen 1 customer/patient disappointed. Why? Because of New Vue's flexibility (if you have any/some form of health insurance) so feel free to talk to Dr. Ho because she is always willing to work with you. Now if you don't have any health insurance for whatever reason, have no fear! Their eye exam packages are a steal! (In my opinion of course). I love this optometry place! There's a great selection of frames, the staff is very friendly, and Dr. Ho is awesome. I've been going here for a couple years now, and I won't go anywhere else. I never made an appointment for my eye checkup, because I usually didn't have to wait too long. I usually come on a Saturday morning. The time it takes for the lenses to be fitted into the frames is pretty short too! I used to have to wait for 2 weeks to a month for my new glasses from other places, but here, I usually only wait about a week or so at most. Love this place! read more

That's extremely basic customer service and somehow they failed to do that. I don't care how many degrees or certificates these doctors might have. I was referred here based on my insurance. I called in the afternoon to inquire about a routine eye exam and they actually had availability to be seen on the same day. I made a 6 o'clock appointment, arrived 10 min early since it was my first time. Receptionist/assistants greeted me and gave me paperwork to fill out. They did the initial eye exam before seeing doctor. Wait time wasn't too bad, after paperwork and initial exam, was seen by Dr. Ho about 6:30. She was friendly, thorough, examined eyes and spent time showing picture of my eyes and gave great explanation. Honestly, very glad I found this place. This review is long over due. I have been seeing Dr. Minh Ho since she opened and I will not see another doctor. I have recommended her to my friends and family members an they are just as happy with her as I am. She is very friendly and knowledgeable so if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. I like that she takes pictures of the back of my eyes and looks for anything odd, then shows me and explains to me what she is looking for. She spends a good amount of time with her patients, as any good doctor would. If I don't need a new pair of reading glasses I end up with sun glasses. How could I not, she has so many cute ones to choose from:) She does take walk-ins but I recommend you call to make an appointment. She speaks English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Cantonese. I don't need glasses but my eyes have been feeling strained a lot lately due to too much studying so I decided maybe glasses will help my eyes refocus etc. Came upon this place by my house. My exam came out great, 20/20 vision, no prescription needed. She offered me visual lessons to help train my eyes to diverge properly so it wouldn't feel as strained. I insisted on glasses and she said reading glasses would help put less stress on my eyes when I'm studying. Got a comprehensive eye exam for $75. Lens were $49, insurance covered it along with my frames and I was out the door. They said itll take 2 days for me to pick up my glasses. The service was great, friendly environment and wait time max would be around 10 mins. But then again it was a weekday, not sure how it would be like on weekends. read more

I yelped this place since I moved from SF and never been to any optometrist here. Though this place only had 1 review but I have a good gut feeling bout them and I was right!! * Convenient parking lot! * Friendly staff! And Dr. Ho is AWESOME!! * Got me the best deal on contact lenses since I wanted to claim my insurance fully. I set a same day appointment for 5:15 but I left work late and didn't arrive till 5:30...and they were closing at 6PM that day. Glad they didn't get mad at me and they took their time with me. Dr. Ho answered all my questions and didn't rush me at all. The receptionist girl was great also! I ends up leaving the store at 6:30 :p At first, I got 3 months supply of Acuvue Oasys then the receptionist called me the next day that I can change to Acuvue Advance and get 6 months of supplies instead! HOW AWESOME IS THAT! And Acuvue Advance works fine for me :) Definitely will return to this place on my next eye exam! read more
