Regarding my experiences at Golden Vision, I feel compelled to share a serious critique of the management's conduct. While I have consistently received exemplary service from Rowena and Hugo--both of whom provide the level of professionalism, patience, and warmth that keeps me driving two hours round-trip from the beach to this location--the experience is significantly marred by the manager's behavior. The management here demonstrates a rigid and dismissive approach to customer service that is entirely unacceptable. I have encountered an appallingly strict attitude regarding payment policies that is both illogical and disrespectful. To penalize a loyal, paying customer based on the behavior of others--or to enforce inconvenient payment methods that ignore the reality of a customer's travel distance--is poor business practice. It is neither practical nor professional to demand that I compromise my time or resources to accommodate flawed internal policies. This level of inflexibility shows a fundamental lack of awareness and a failure to extend basic courtesy. It is clear that the current management lacks the necessary skill to treat customers with the respect they deserve. I have been treated with a degree of condescension that is deeply insulting, especially considering the lack of discernment regarding the character and stature of the clients they serve. My commitment to this establishment is solely tied to the dedication of Rowena and Hugo; without them, there would be no reason to patronize a business led by such abrasive management. To the manager: You must improve your standards. You are in a position of service, and you have failed to treat your clientele with the dignity and respect required of your role. Being "strict" is not a substitute for effective management. It is time to refine your approach, demonstrate better judgment, and prioritize a professional, respectful environment. Your current conduct is a liability to the reputation of your staff and your business. I take both of my kids here for ortho-k lenses. The staff is friendly and thorough - especially Rebecca, Ira, Dr. Zhou and Dr. Eric. They have a lot of availability for appointments and generally the wait time is short. I don't feel like they are rushing through the appointments even when they are busy. Rebecca was so great helping my son put on his lenses for the first time. I didn't think it was possible, but she has skills and she truly cares! Ira is always kind and helpful explaining the billing and appointments. Have been coming to GV for a few years now for Ortho-K lenses and I have been satisfied with the service I have been receiving. Ira has always been reachable whenever I needed assistance, and ensured that I was able to meet my doctor, Dr. Eric Leung, on time as well. On days that I suddenly had to reschedule my appointment, Ira would help me find a better time, and would remind me when the new appointment day got closer as well. I might have to wait sometimes, but I understand that Dr. Leung is busy and has a lot of patients, and some patients may take a little bit longer than others. Other than that, there are plentiful of parking spaces, but try to avoid weekend since GV is located in the plaza with many other stores. It might be difficult to find parking spot on ground level during weekends, but you can try the lower level. I would highly recommend GV to anyone who needs an eye doctor. read more
