I immediately liked the initiative and friendliness shown by the staff to not only adjust my existing glasses for a nominal fee, but also their flexibility to get me scheduled for new glasses. When I met Dr. Tsao she seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and what brought me to the office. Most importantly she did not seem rushed. She was gentle and clear and I appreciated her openness in talking about her own experience in the neighborhood with schools and raising her own kids since I asked. The front office staff answered my questions with good humor and patience. I also appreciated the frequent text reminders about my upcoming appointment. Terrible experience. The biggest issue is communication -- it is extremely poor, and that cannot be emphasized enough. The staff did not seem knowledgeable about glasses at all, especially work glasses. We had to do our own research and explain to them how things were supposed to be done, which is completely unacceptable for a business that specializes in eyewear. On top of that, they are overpriced for the level of service (or lack of service) provided. My husband has been waiting for his glasses for two months with no clear updates, follow-ups, or accountability. Every interaction feels disorganized and frustrating. Wondering why this place has reviews published years ago? Because this place is terrible!!! Upon entering this office, the front desk lacks customer service skills. We were standing at the entrance for a long time, no other customers coming in, but were not acknowledged not until I start to lose my patience and went to the front. No clear instructions were given to my 5 year old son on what to do and where to place his chin or where to look. I had to figure it out myseld. We were seen after a while and a SUPER THOROUGH eye exam where given to my kids and took 2 hours. Really? 2 hours? After the exam, they made my son choose from a pile of eyeglass frames inside a box. The pile was so disorganized. We had to rummage and after a while was told "THESE ARE THE ONLY GLASSES COVERED UNDER MEDICAL. Guess what, only 2 styles!! So we had no choice but to choose between the two. As we were leaving and already inside our car, I was chased and informed "Oh, this is actually the ONLY frame covered" Wow! How inefficient!!!! We spent like 3 to 4 hours in this location only to tell us as we are already inside our vehicle! But still, we gave them a chance. When the eyeglasses were ready to be picked up, we went there and saw that the eyeglasses were SUPER HUGE and ADULT SIZE!! The glasses were falling on the bridge of his nose even at the slightest movement. It was very frustrating that no one there was helping only when I said if they can do something to adjust the size. I didn't get any help. I wear contacts and glasses so I know that these frames can be adjusted. I was told that that was the only frame and they cannot do anything about it. I started to raise my voice and that qwss the only time was told it can be adjusted by heating the frame. Even after the adjustment, my son looked ridiculous with his glasses. I asked if we can have it exchanged. But I was told medical paid already and if we get a new one, we have to pay out of pocket. We cannot do anything about it. I called Medical, and they told us we can file a grievance and they will replace the glasses. Save yourselves the hassle and trouble. Go somewhere else and avoid this place. I had no choice but to leave a star but to be honest, this place deserves 0 ZERO STARS! read more

I visited Seek Vision Optometry for the first time on Thursday, 12/28 for my 10:00 AM appointment and had a pretty good experience. I easily made an appointment on their website two weeks prior. However I did want to point out when navigating to their homepage/website, I keep getting a "Your Connection is Not Secure" Privacy Error text so just be careful of that. However, I don't prefer calling to make appointments so I still opted for their online appointment option, where you can select the specific OD, date and time. I also got a reminder call a day before, which I'm not sure if they provide text reminders (which I personally prefer haha). I went to the office a little earlier than my appointment at around 9:51 am and although I had filled out the pre-visit questionnaire online, I had to fill out another page. Their entry way is a little tight but there's a restroom on the left side as well as a little play section/ additional seating for little kiddos (def kid friendly). I waited until around 10:11 before I was taken to the back. The eye tech was nice but I noticed that she didn't clean the machine before she did the initial testings for me. I'm hoping that the machines were thoroughly wiped with alcohol before patients use them since you rest your chin on them but I wanted to point this out since it's the first time I've seen an eye tech not wipe them in front of you. I should have said something but I didn't. I was taken to my private room and waited a little longer to meet with Dr. Danielle Tsao. She was nice and the appointment was fast/efficient. I agreed to dilate my pupils but I felt like the whole appointment it was hard for my eyes to adjust when she did the screenings (like if this image was clear or not). I had a few questions, but not too much. She had her recommendations, which I appreciated. She is upbeat and seems to be personable so you feel comfortable. Parking: The lot can get a little packed depending on the time you go since there's not too many spots. However, I did not have an issue when I went. The parking spots are pretty small and the ground is uneven so note that it can be a little tricky to part. All in all, it was a pretty good appt, and I look forward to coming back! read more

My 3 elementary aged kids, including my 1-year-old, have seen all 3 doctors here and we have had a great experience. Appointments are always readily available and communication has been easy. I also appreciate that you can schedule appointments online. Dr. Tsao is very gentle, kind, thorough and worked so well with one of my kids who is usually very difficult with doctors. Dr. Ha has great, positive energy and came across as very thorough as well. One of my kids has a more complicated vision situation and also sees an ophthalmologist. In an insurance gap, I took our baby, who I suspected has the same situation, to see Dr. Wong, who specializes in kids (but as a side note, she sees adults too). I was amazed at how Dr. Wong interacted with our 1-year-old and was able to assess her vision. Dr. Wong gave us helpful tips to try to help our daughter's vision and development. She then also gave us tips for our other child who wasn't even present at the time. Overall we are very pleased with Seek Vision and will continue to bring our family here. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. Paid over $300 for my glasses and waited 1.5 months... Bad communication as there were zero updates and I was the only one contacting them. They should have been contacting me and updating me weekly or provide a substitute/replacement. Terrible business that does not care about their customers who need their glasses to SEEK VISION. I moved to the area and needed an updated eye exam since my prescription was outdated. I searched nearby optometrists in the area that accepted my insurance. I came across this place on Yelp and made an appointment through their website which was super east to navigate. I was able to make an appointment for a Saturday morning slot. When I arrived, the front desk staff were very attentive and helpful as I figured out insurance and filled out the new patient paperwork. The exam started within 5-10 minutes of my arrival and everything went smoothly. The doctor was kind and explained every step of the way. The process of getting new glasses also was easy and efficient as well. I chose the frames and they went over what my insurance covers. After everything, my appointment took about an hour.
