Feliciano was the consummate professional. He made my shopping experience better than I ever could have expected. I had ordered four pairs of glasses on Oakley's website and had them all shipped to the Arcadia store (the one by Nordstrom). Feliciano examined each pair carefully for defects and found one pair with a scratch from the factory. He immediately resolved the matter by refunding the cost and placing a new order for me and ensuring that the price was the same as the returned pair, which had a promo attached to it. He also taught me how to change out the nose pieces for another pair by demonstration. Feliciano did the perfect job. This is further confirmed by another review I see here on Yelp for Feliciano. His coworker who helped out looking for a replacement pair from store inventory was also top notch. Lastly, their presentation was top tier. Feliciano packaged everything up in this awesome bag with all glasses neatly lined up in their individual boxes. Could not have asked for a better experience! You can trust this store. read more

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I received a pair of sunglasses in the mail yesterday, which I had originally ordered in-store at Sunglass Hut. Today, I went to return them (unworn and still in the original packaging) and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked into the store, I wasn't greeted... just looked at. I approached the checkout to process my return, and the employee, Vanessa, immediately appeared annoyed the moment I mentioned I didn't want to exchange, just return. Despite the fact that I received the sunglasses just yesterday, didn't wear them, and had placed them right back in the box, Vanessa claimed there was a "big scratch" on the lens and refused the return. Not only was her tone incredibly condescending, but I genuinely didn't see any visible scratch and if there is one, it may have been caused during her own rough handling while inspecting them. This was handled with zero professionalism. I've had positive experiences at other Sunglass Hut locations, but this one left me shocked. Vanessa could seriously benefit from basic customer service training. What a shame. read more

I went in to get some cleaning products for my sunglasses. The gentleman who assisted me was very nice. He offered to clean my sunglasses and my husband's as we waited for a register to open up. He informed me that it is unlimited refills on the solutions I purchase there. Also, they can fix sunglasses if needed. I thought the service was worth the price. However, it is a small place and not enough room to walk around. There was a lady that kept getting in our way to talk to a staff member. In the end, I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and I'm coming back to get my sunglasses fixed. read more

My second time buying glasses here and boy what a mess. I ordered online and picked up in store but when I went to return it the lady at the front gave such rude attitude for no reason. I understand it's stressful handling returns on holidays (it's New Years Eve), but I expect any employee to at least help me with my request with no unwarranted attitude. I simply came in to return a pair of sunglasses but she barely looked at the glasses and immediately said I'm getting store credit for it. Luckily, her manager was standing right next to her and said no, it's actually going to go back to my card. Once she searched it up in the system she told me it couldn't be returned but I showed her the online policy clearly stating that purchases between November 21st and December 24th have a 60-day return window. She barely glimpsed at the statement and said "girl, (with an annoyed look on her face) it's past December 24 already so you can't return it." I had to clarify their own return policy to her, it's purchases made between that time, not that you can only purchase and return within November and December. She clearly wasn't in the mood to help me so I asked for her manager. The manager even acknowledged the return policy, but for some reason their system just wasn't allowing the return. I wouldn't have a problem with this store if they had a system issue but I do not expect an employee to give me such rude attitude when I wasn't giving her trouble to begin with, especially an employee who doesn't know her own store's return policy. Without a doubt, I will not be shopping at this store ever again, purely because of the customer service (manager was fine, but employee needs to be fired). Bottom line: until they do something different with their employees, don't expect to get help with any issues with your glasses. read more

Honestly would have written a review sooner if I had met the most recent Sales Associate sooner. What's up with all the bad reviews?? Irene helped me most recently when I bought a pair of Prada sunglasses. While I was browsing through some Chanel, Versace etc, she even offered to tighten the arms of my Versace's I was wearing after noticing they were lose and cleaned then right after too. I took a while to look and I'm PICKY. I went back and forth and back and forth. She was just so helpful and patient. I even bugged her to see what was on sale and she pulled out the pair of Prada's from a bottom drawer for me. If I could leave no stars I would but my boyfriend went to return Versace sunglasses at Sunglasses Hut and the worker CRISTINA was rude and cussed at him out because he asked to return a pair of sunglasses that he bought 10 days ago with the receipt original packaging and everything. She threw the glasses and just went to help another customer. All he did was try them on and they didn't fit. She claimed there was a lil scratch on the lens which me and my boyfriend looked over them and if there was a scratch we wouldn't return them. As he went to show her the difference between the pair in store and our pair she grabbed him and yelled he was trynna steal when I was with him and he never did any of that. Im a true shopaholic when it comes to sunglasses and I know good customer service when I see one. I myself manage my own business and definitely do not treat people the way these employees do. Even their manager has an awful attitude and is no help at all. Matter of fact the manager heard how poorly her employee was treating me and still decided to neglect me. If I could give this 0 stars I would. The customer service her is terrible. I went to do an exchange on sunglasses that my son received for Christmas and the sales associate told me that can't do online returns, when in fact it states on the receipt to go into a Sunglass hut store for returns or exchanges. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager, which was probably a lie. I asked her for her name and she said I don't have to give it to you. I asked her again for her name and she said legally I don't have to give it to you. Then she called mall security on me. Now after reading the complaints on yelp for this store, it looks like that is the normal thing the do (call mall security) when they can't handle objections. Customers beware when you walk into this store. You might just have mall security called on you also. I'm escalating this complaint and have sent this complaint to mall management and Sunglass Hut Corporate office. It seems like this store has problematic employees from the reviews I'm reading here on yelp. Don't shop at this store and go to the Sunglass Hut in Old Town Pasadena. My cousin wanted to try on sunglasses, and I wanted to get my Ray-Bans classic aviator adjusted and cleaned, so we walked into Sunglass Hut around 4-5pm on 5/19/18. I approached one of the many Sales Associates within the store and requested for my frame to be readjusted for a better fit. This guy, specifically wearing a dark green v-neck and a blazer, took my Ray-Bans, did some sort of balancing test on the table, and said, "What's wrong with it?" I simply replied, "Nothing, I come in to get my sunglasses adjusted every couple of months because it's always somehow bent out of shape." He responded, "Oh, so you just want us to service your ass." I think I was in shock so I just chuckled nervously. He then handed my sunglasses to another Sales Associate and walked away. He returned a few minutes later asking, "So, you like the large frame aviators huh?" I replied, "Yeah, why?" He then proceeded to smirk and walk away again. During the crazy holiday, my boyfriend and I were shopping for Christmas gifts for family and friends. He wanted to stop by sunglass hut since he wanted to replace the ones he lost. He had a few pairs of sunglasses that he was interested in but didn't buy anything that day since he wanted some time to sleep on it. I decided to go back to the store without him since the staff were so friendly. Last week I went back and was greeted by Ronald. I couldn't remember all of the sunglasses my boyfriend was interested in, but Ronald helped me narrow down my options by asking little questions here and there to get to know me and my boyfriend a little better. At last, I ended up buying my boyfriend some Ray-bans. I'm glad Ronald helped me make the process quick and painless or else I would have just been staring at the display for hours looking lost and confused. Horrible experience. Worst sunglass hut I have ever been to. The male worker that was there today was very rude. As I was asking him questions regarding the sunglass I had been looking into, he cut me off right from the start. Then he was talking over the stand and I was not able to hear him over the music being played at the store so I had told him nicely that and he pointed at me with his finger and directed me to come over to the side with his finger. I was at the Santa Anita mall and simply came here to reshape my Chanel sunglasses. Don't leave your sunglasses in the car on a hot, sunny day. I didn't purchase anything but noticed the fantastic selection of sunglasses. They even sell Chanel at this location (rare for some Sunglass Huts). One of the employees was kind enough to help me although I obviously didn't buy my sunglasses at that moment. I had a horrible experience a couple years ago when I asked an employee at another location to kindly reshape my Chanels. He basically said with an attitude, "Ugh, I guess I can do it, but if they break, it's not my problem." Jerk. Anyway, if you're in the area and have a pretty penny to spend, I'd say this is a great option. A Latina brunette helped me and was very friendly and helpful. Went here last Saturday and tried looking for a new pair of sunglasses to buy, but the lady with the short hair that tried helping us was so pushy. At first she tried telling us the differences of the glasses, then when I asked for the polarized ones compared to the regular ones she kept on insisting about the price differences and how much more expensive the polarized ones are when I'm just simply asking for the difference of the lenses. I'm not even asking about prices because it didn't matter to me how much it was, i just wanted to know the differences. I would not think returning a pair of defective Prada sunglasses sent to me through mail would be so hard. They lied and told me the sunglasses I wanted can not be purchased online and made it difficult to make the return and reuse my coupon. They called the Sunglass Hut in Macy's and said they had a pair there. We left and as soon as went to Macy's the young lady there was so awesome and did the return without asking questions. Do not shop here, they sell glasses that have been used and scratched. The Management is incompetent, she told me she would call me after spending 1 hour in her store. I purchased a pair of glasses and was going to pick up in 2 hours, i called before picking them up they said they did not have them in stock. Spoke to management they said it would cancel out. Well it did not cancel out and I was charged I went into the store took over an hour to figure out, she said she would call me and never did. 2 weeks later still no refund. I just called and asked for the Supervisor and a extremely rude Male said she was busy. I explained what was going on he rudely interrupted me and said I need to do my refund through Corporate. Yet another reason not to go to the Santa Anita Mall, which I said I wouldn't go to again because of the horrible customer service, but I wasn't feeling great and just wanted to get in & out and get my new sunglasses. I went to Macy's and this place and both tried to sell me scratched glasses at full price. I declined and then was told they would order them for me and overnight them and I would get them by Tuesday. It is Tuesday and I finally got my delivery confirmation and they did not overnight them, they requested standard shipping and they wont be here for another week. I came to the store to see if I can find some sunglasses that are new and that I actually like since I've been going to different sunglass hut locations, I just couldn't find one that calls my attention. While browsing through the store there was two of them that called my attention it was a Versace and a D&G pair . Owning 5 Prada sunglasses already I wanted to change brands . While trying on the Versace & D&G JANET came to me and said "Are you planning to take the D&G sunglasses I said I don't know , I'm still debating and she rudely said well "Let Me Have Them" I was a little shaken up about the way she acted on demanding the sunglasses. I thought it was a little odd but I handed them to her, she than said "I'll hold them for you, if you decide to take them" I'm a very calm , passive educated person so I did not want to make a big deal about it so I went on with browsing through the store . I went back to the D&G area and tried on some round ones , I went to the mirror and placed them on and she was just following me out of all the 10 people in there she was just on me , than she went to the D&G sunglasses and Loudly said "EXCUSE ME WHERE ARE THE SHINY ROUND SUNGLASSES THAT WERE HERE , I turned around knowing she was talking to me and went to her by the D&G area and asked her what are you talking about I only tried these two on. & she than went on and said "FINE THAN I'LL HAVE TO CHECK THE CAMERAS AND SEE WHERE YOU PUT THEM" I than told her excuse me but I did not try on the sunglasses your accusing me that went missing. I've been a Sunglass Hut customer and member for a very long time and issues like these make me never want to shop here again . I did however met Angelica who was very nice and helped me find the perfect sunglasses that I than purchased , which JANET REFUSED to ring me up so Angelica did . (I wonder why, huh?) Was not happy with an online order of Prada glasses we received. Went into the mall and placed "order" for them to have another set shipped over. All online orders should have taken 2 days. A few days pass and no call, and the person for whom the flashes was for was leaving out of the country. Well- called in sunglass hut online and they weren't much help but they ended up speaking to manager Erika. At first I was really irked bc seemed like there was nothing that could be done especially when I expressed my frustration that nothing had been followed up on especially my concern that a replacement wouldn't arrive in time. And on top of that their system was down, and couldn't locate where the replacements were. Keep in mind they had the glasses shipped from another store versus ordering online again-which would have been much better. Well obviously I'm annoyed and very unhappy. And Erika had to tell me she would call me when system was up. Well she did an hour later and turned out another pair was already added into their stock and she held them for us. Unfortunately for us this pair still had the same problem, but what we did end up doing was exchanging them for a different pair of glasses. As much as the total exchange was a little bit of a headache and not perfect, I have to admit Erika did her best to amend the situation. Only thing is I'm awaiting my refund for the portion of credit that should be done which I know should be taking a few days. I would say if there is a problem, give them a chance to try and to fix, and they seem to do a decent job at that! read more

This place sucks . Bad customer service. I went to the booth that was located on the first floor. nobody was there for 45 min. I had to call the store that was located in the mall. The manager from that store had to come and assist me. then the employee that was gone came back and said he was only gone for 15 min. I had to correct him and then he changed his story. So for future reference don't bother going to the stand, go to the actual store. read more

Misleading and dishonest. I was told that sunglasses were 20% off and the sale price would be reflected when i received my statement. My statement came two weeks later and the discount applied was only 15%, not the 20% that was promised. Came to the store to ask for the adjustment and was told it was mistake. Buyer beware. read more
