On a few occasions they have helped us to get the best product for the best price even if was at a different business. If necessary, you can always get your prescription from them and get it filled elsewhere. Their parking lot is pretty small and the entrance and exit are very narrow, so be careful driving and parking here. There is a light to get in and out of their business and it is needed as the street is busy. Even though spaces are limited, we have always been able to get a spot. They received the glasses in mid November and relied on just a single text message (which I never received) to inform me that the glasses were ready. Instead of taking accountability for the lack of communication the front desk person said "well I guess it is our fault" only after I told her that it doesn't make sense only rely on one text message. If a patient doesn't pick up their prescription eye wear, which they need to see, then don't you think you should be more diligent and call to follow up. and again instead of taking accountability and apologize she just said "well we're short staffed." And this wasn't the first issue since my original review in Google where I did give them a 5star review. My husband also had an issue when he came and it took them over two months to finally tell him that the lab wasn't equipped to work with the frames he selected. Again, no accountability or apology for that incident either. Needless to say I'll be looking for a new optometrist.

Typically, I was use to waiting a bit to be seen and to pick my frames. This time, I was called in right away and luckily the last staff member saved the frame style into my profile so that saved a bunch of time. My appointment was for 5p, they actually accommodated for an earlier 3pm visit since I was already in the area. I went with a pair of Dita frames and they called me to tell me they were ready in about a week. Overall, they get 5 stars from me because they have the speed of service down now and it doesn't feel like I'm spending too much time there. The frames were perfect as well.

What is surprising is that he and the staff deleted my medical file WITHOUT my consent. Under California law this is illegal!! I believe the refund is a tactic of his to not tie him to my care. The doctor there also said I have good vision and only needed a minimal prescription. This confirmed that the original prescription was incorrect. She was very thorough, and we discussed my medical history in-depth. After my appointment, I met with the staff member David to go over my options for glasses. He was so much fun, and I found the perfect pair. The whole process was easy, and I was so happy to find a pair of glasses AND sunglasses. I also love the fact that I can walk to the office from my house, so that is a HUGE plus. The staff at the check-in desk were super sweet.
