Optica Vision Center - Yaaaaaasssssssss!!!!!!!! It's time for new glasses!!! - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Paramount, California

This place is great I started by coming here because my 8 year needed glasses according to his school. The service is amazing!!!! Alex greeted us with a smile the optometrist is super professional and made my already nervous son feel at ease and laugh while he checked his vision. There is no wait, prices are way reasonable compared to other places and lenses came back within week. Cherry on top for this place within a few days of receiving his lenses he broke his frame at school I called to see if I can order a replacement Alex stayed come on down. And he happily replaced the frame at no charge!!! Later my father in law needed to replace his glasses he usually goes to Costco but I told him he had to try this places! He came home super happy with the services and stated that he saved $200-300 from what he usually pays. Highly recommend for all your Vision needs!!! read more

I have received message from them tried to push the fact around. Clearly they didn't try to make thing right. ---- THEIR MESSAGE ME THRU PRIVATE MESSAGE ---- We do have the $99 voucher for $150 available. I'm sorry you were unable to purchase it that day. However you did still receive a better deal with our in store promotion and I apologize for that not being communicated. Since your savings of $79 is more than the $50 that would have been saved with the Yelp Promotion. As for as the glaucoma screening that was included in the standard exam but again the doctor chose to do a further examination. "In your mother's case dilation was suggested to take a better look at the health of her retina and cataracts". THIS IS THE LIST OF SERVICE I RECEIVED, THEY TOLD ME THRU PRIVATE MESSAGE . Standard Eye Exam $50 Dilation $20 Frame $79 Bifocal Lens $89 UV Protection $25 Scratch Coating $25 Total: $288 **** They told me to yelp private message that they saved me $79 dollars more than YELP deal would got me. NOT TRUE! --------------- ON THAT DAY -------------- The fact is on the day I had been charged $99 for 1 vision promotion( but because my mom need a special lens so i only save $20 from the $99 deal which it $50 for frame instead of $79 +$50 for exam+$89 bifocal lens) ****I have copy of receipt in the picture. All those extra list that they gave me above is NOT TRUE. and IT IS NOT WHAT I ORDER. They just put it in the message to make me feel like i got a good deal. I can't believe they don't think that i would look at my receive. Clearly the business thing that customer are not that smart and they can push the fact around. I will report to Yelp. ++++++ ++++ FACT IS ++++++++++ IF THEY ALLOW ME TO USE MY YELP PROMOTION ( $99 for $150 deal) My fee would be $50 for exam + $70 for frame + 89 lens + 20 dilation which totals would be 229 - 150 voucher = $79. ( so $79 will be my total fee out of pocket on that day + $99 that pay thru Yelp ) ****** But their staff explained to me on that day was this YELP promotion ($99 for $150) DO NOT EXIT. And he promptly explained to me that The promotion $150 deal mean $50 for exam + $50 frame + $50 lens. This is a shame that they not even try to make thing right but push the fact around. NOT trustworthy and trust me this is not business you want to deal with. You would want to deal with the place that you can trust and rely on. TALKING about glasses my mom received. It poorly made. On the rim has a sharp edge which it hurt my mom. I will take a picture and upload it in a couple day. It has been sit on the table. I am disappoint and i don't know how to say enough about this. I am taking her to Costco tomorrow to get a new pair. This is a waste of money. She can't even use it. Safety caution should be one of their main priority. read more

It's been almost 4 years since I've gotten my eyes checked! I was referred here by a family friend, and it was a great experience! The optometrist is funny and knowledgeable! Maribel was super nice and helpful, I ended up choosing the glasses she picked out for me. Overall happy with my experience and service! read more

Enjoyed our first time at the Optica Vision Center. The Doctor was very nice and thorough with his eye exam. Once my husband and I were done with the exam, we had great customer service care with the ladies who helped us pick out glasses. They have a nice selection to chose from. When you are ready to have your eyes checked... stop by and visit Optica Vision Center inside the Northgate Market. Thank you for your care for our eyes.... read more

Came here after having so many problems at other places. The staff and doctor were very nice. My contacts ended up being way cheaper than any other place I had been to. I will tell all my friends and family. read more

Dr Terry was great for my first eye Dr. His staff was great & I liked getting tips from the girl up front, Betty! She was very nice. They all were! Good job Optica! I was a bit skeptic to come in try it out but I did anyway & kind of glad I did. Just try it out! You wont be disappointed! read more

Optica Vision Center - Got these Gucci's here! Very sexy...... - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Paramount, California

For the past 3 years I always always!!! get the worse customer service and honestly ghetto attitude from the ladies who work here. I continue to come back because of the Optometrist and the affordability. He's very welcoming well spoken, thorough accommodating and friendly. The prices are great. Never a long wait. I unfortunately did not have enough money to buy the most expensive frames and lenses plus the cost of the exam and 2 boxes of contact lenses and because of my economic status I was humiliated and treated poorly. I asked if I can just pay for the exam and come back the following week to order contacts since I have to wait for my prescription to arrive anyway and the woman said it was non refundable and forced me to sign the credit card receipt. It was a horrible experience. Glad I'm out of there. It's unfortunate that people like her exist in this world and make life situations unpleasant. I feel sorry for the people who cross paths with her. I assume she isn't happy with life or her career and just can't hide it. read more

I've worn glasses sense I was 16, I'm now 47... So you can imagine all the eye car centers I've been to. 1st off this place is in the back of a grocery store, so I though, OK, afordable eye exam, shopping... Kill 2 birds with one stone. Best decision I made that day. Really nice staff, the doc. Was super cool and down to earth. And they even help me out with my daughter broken glasses no charge. In the immortal words of the terminator.... ILL BE BACK!!!!! read more

If you want a I doctor who's going to sit down with you and explain things to you even repeatedly if need be, and continue to see you and answer your never ending questions, sometimes daily, as you get adjusted to your glasses or contact lenses, then this is the place for you..... I have known Dr Terry Khraishi a long time and have gone to other eye doctors over the years out of convenience, but that does not compensate for quality. read more

To start off i cant explain how thankful i am of joanna and Dr.Terry they were so much help and so kind got me a new pair of glasses and my lens fixed on the other ones I've already recommend a lot of ppl its hard to find service like this anymore thank you guys so much .... The girl that works there, the skinny one with glasses is so rude/unfriendly. They have nice glasses/frames but they are hella expensive here. I did not shop comfortably, I would not go back here. Girl you're doing customer service change your conceided attitude! read more

I've never had glasses and it's been at least 10 years since I had my eyes checked. So I was nervous about my visit, but Dr. Terry was great and explained all the issues with my eyes. I could tell he has years of experience, as he went straight into the profession from college. I knew it was time to get glasses and he suggested to try Progressive glasses since spend at least 6-7 hours of my job looking at the computer and reading. After using them for a week I realized I couldn't adjust to them, especially since I'm completely new to glasses. After a second review with Dr. Terry we decided on solely computer glasses, which apparently happens a lot to newbies. There was no hassle on the revised pair and no extra charge for the change. I'm happy with the prescription now! I was even able to keep the frame I originally picked out with the help of Betty and Joanna. Since I went alone to choose those girls were helpful, kind and gave me their honest opinion on which frame was better for my face and not just after a sale of a high priced pair of glasses! Betty made the experience fun and educational on what to look out for when deciding on my first pair. And Joanna told me if a pair looked too serious in style or too small/large. I was also impressed they both have years of knowledge in the eye glass industry AND eye healthcare issues, as an assistant to the doctor. Neither woman was not just some sales person. They know eye care terms the doctor throws at them and they keep up with stocking the office with the latest eyeglass wear, low priced AND high end. After my positive experience there, I ended up going back to get two pairs of glasses for my Dad. He thought Dr. Terry was very nice and thorough. In terms of location, the office is at the back of a community market. Don't let that deter you...it truly is a professional eye care office, with a staff that cares about it's patients. I would only suggest you dress a little warm because the store can get a little chilly. You will always find parking because of the location and you can even get a little shopping done! :) read more

My first visit to get contact lens fitting and exam for eye glasses. I walked in between 1-2 Tues afternoon and waited only a few minutes. Dr Terry and Betty were very helpful and friendly. Decided to log onto my Yelp account and write my first review ever.. why? Because this place had excellent customer service. Dr. Terry was easy going and super helpful (probably the coolest eye doc I've met so far haha). You can tell when an office actually cares about your needs and this place is it. They did not pressure me to buy anything. The front desk staff were both very nice. Bianca (sp?) was kind enough to help tighten my old glasses. Everyone there is very friendly and happy.I highly recommend this place to anyone that's looking for an eye doc that is down to earth and very friendly. read more

After snooping around on yelp i found myself set on NFO. My first impression was that the office has a very comfortable feeling to it. Yes i promptly waited for a little although arriving on time to my appointment, because situations in life happen that we do not have control over. The Optometrist was simply handling a patient that needed extra care. I forgot my Dr.'s name but she was very friendly and helpful, you can really feel she cares for the patient. Everything about my experience was wonderful. Super ecstatic on my new glasses and I will be back next year! read more

Excellent service, Pretty employees that made this a hassle free experience. The best deal around. I've gone to several optometrist and by far this place has the best deals. I was sold on this place when I saw the quality and name brands of these glasses Ray Bans, Gucci, Michael Kors, Fendi, Carrera etc. I loved the glasses so much I purchased a pair of Ray Bans, and Carreras. read more

Oh goodness where do I begin. First off the customer service is above excellent. The doctor was super nice and very patient with my 7 year old. We were in and out in less than a half hour . They helped my daughter pick the glasses she liked in my price range. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need which is always a plus. The glasses arrived in less than a week which was awesome . And on top of everything they offer a Groupon deal which was a super savings. In total my daughter got some nice frames with a bunch of specialties like anti glare no shatter lens and her rx all for $110. I must add the glasses did break a week later but they had them fixed and ready to go the next day with no charge for me. Rosa was super nice and so is the tall girl who works there . This will from now on be my place to go. I would recommend this place to all. read more

Ok so I found this place in yelp. I made an appoint because it's close to my house and they called me to confirm my appoint but when I picked up two women were talking. I heard one say fuck someone then say the word fuck again. I stayed silent for the first few seconds without even saying hello because i was so confused. When they asked for me bY name I was yeah is Cindy and im thinking who are you? When she said she was from the optometrist i was like wow. So I'm thinking ugh I dont wanna deal with this I just need glasses. My appoint came up and they called me because I'm a no show of course.i ignored the call but then decided to call them and tell the manager. So I call she gets on the phone and straight up says she doesn't beleive her employees did that. I just thanked her and hung up. I'm not going to argue about this i just figured I'd pass the info on but I guess.whatever. there are plenty of places to choose from I dont need an optomotrist offi e with potty mouth staff and a.manger that cant take a complaint. Excellent service from everyone. Joanna was very welcoming. My optician, Diego, was very helpful in helping me understand and maximize my vision plan benefits. I paid the same amount for glass AND contacts that I would have paid for JUST contacts from my previous vision care provider (Walmart Vision, they kind of rip you off). Dr. Terry was very relaxed and attentive. When I picked up my glasses, Alex helped me out and made sure I tried on my glasses and left satisfied. I would definitely recommend to anyone!! read more

So I went in for an eye exam and new glasses. The doctor and staff were very friendly. I went there as a walk-in and it didn't even take long for my eye exam (unlike Walmart). The exam was a pleasant experience. When it came time to picking out my glasses, I was having a difficult time deciding what looks good on my face. The girl that works there was very helpful and suggested many glasses that looked great on me. I ended up choosing a pair that she had suggested I try on. I love my new glasses and I have been getting plenty of comments on them at work and school. What I loved about this place is their big selection of cute glasses! I've gone to Walmart and even Costco and they're selection is whatever, but the glasses at this place are super cute. I'm going to return here for another pair in the near future ( I can't just have one pair). The doctor was very cool and chill, and the girl that helped me was very nice and helpful. Familiarity is key. When you meet the Technicians and Optometrist for the first time they greet with passion and confidence. What stood out is how they take the time to explain the differences and choices in lenses, options and frames. I had the routine Eye exam performed by Terry. I'll explain he was precise, caring, and patient. I never once needed to adjust my head or eyes during the exam, it felt like I was the one that sat down previously. After the exam Terry explained everything I needed to know and asked. I was special enough to be treated by Joanna, she helped supply myself with some great eyewear. Her charisma and character explains why you leave with a smile. one bonus to mention was the selection they had for men. And the wares i got Thanks, they do look mighty select for me. read more

Thank you so much for such a great experience. I am extremely pleased with the quality of customer service provided to me and the beautiful glasses that you help me select. I'm really stoked about this! I just got my Rayban Wayfarers fixed there! I accidentally sat on my glasses and there they went. The left arm was falling hard. I went to sunglass hut first, which is where I bought the glasses, a little less than a year ago and they told me they couldn't be fixed because the arm broke off from the frame. The guy said I could buy a new pair for 50% off! I paid over $200 for these bad boys! Got them polarized and everything. And now they're telling me I have to pay $100 plus tax to fix them. Hell no. I thought I would have to survive with broken glasses. I was really pissed at myself for sitting on them. Thats where OPTICA came in and saved the day! While at the market one morning I asked if they knew of someone that could fix it. The girl was really helpful and cute, (always a plus) :) , and said they could fix them for sure by replacing the arms with new ones for $39 bucks. They were a special order so I did have to wait a week for them but that was it. Will definitely be back for sunglasses in the future. Thanks Optica read more
