They tell you that you're getting "new glasses every time" -- which is a lie -- and then bill Medi-Cal for it. When I asked for proof, they couldn't provide any. Instead, they told me to Zelle them $85 for new glasses, which I did. Later, I found out Medi-Cal denied their claim because the office has a history of false charges. Now they're refusing to refund my $85, claiming my Medi-Cal "isn't active." Total scam. Please don't come here -- avoid at all costs. They are dishonest, unethical, and take advantage of people. Update just call them to get an update about getting my money back and I believe it was Dr.Frohn himself just treating me with his lawyer for putting my review. In the U.S., you are legally protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (2016). That law makes it illegal for a business to punish or sue you just for sharing an honest opinion or negative experience, as long as what you write is truthful and based on your real experience.

They also are great with providing me with my prescriptions without pressure on buying their frames; however their opticians were helpful with having me try the low bridge frames they had in stock. If anything, therein is my only suggestion: please consider offering more low bridge frames as this is the only reason we go elsewhere for frames.

I have been going to Dr. Ikeda for about 20 years, which sounds crazy since I'm only in my late…read more20's, but he is amazing. He is incredibly personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all he answers whatever questions I have and explains everything in terms one can understand. I was born with an eye condition and I was lucky enough to find him in my mother's eye doctor's office (she used to see Dr. Cox). Ikeda knew a lot about the condition and has kept up on the advances of how to help me since. His office is modern and the staff are very helpful. I trust him so completely that although I have vision insurance which he is not covered by, I still go to him. Side note: my mom and my sister both go to him as well. My mother switched doctors when she moved behind the orange curtain, saw one for a few years, had bad experiences, switched back and now drives the 45 mile trek out here to see him. I was already shopping at the mall and had a pair of sunglasses where one of the screws came off of the side piece of the sunglasses. I walked into the store and Saundra assisted me. She was so kind and patient when I told her what was the issue with my sunglasses. She didn't seem irritated that it wasn't about any frame specifically within the store and she was so willing to help right away. She took my sunglasses to the back and came back within less than five minutes and had my sunglasses repaired! I appreciated the promptness and action that she took without feeling like I was bothering her to help with a repair for my sunglasses versus a purchase. Whether it's the doctors themselves or the people behind the desks, scheduling appointments and answering any questions I had, everyone has been helpful. I recently came in to get a second pair of glasses and although I did not have insurance that covered vision, they were very accommodating to work with me to get a pair, regardless. They also had a special that made getting a new pair of glasses that included a frame and lenses, very affordable. Janelle was the main person who worked with me on getting the second pair and was very friendly and accommodating. She was helpful in me narrowing down options for my second pair. I'm very thankful for her providing what I needed on my recent apt in a friendly and kind manner!
