They are very nice and the doctor is knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and felt like I had a good review of my eye health and vision. They were prompt with my appointment and my husband's. The facility is pretty small, especially where you get eyes examined in the back, it's a tiny bit claustrophobic. The selection of glasses is a little sparse, although they can order pretty much anything you need. It's just nice to be able to try different styles on first. I'll probably find a pair I like and go back and have them order. read more

This place was introduced to me by a friend, even though it was far from my house but it was worth the drive!! The people there were really friendly, especially the doctor. Dr.Tran was really friendly and good with kids. I brought my little niece and nephew here. Kaelyn is only 5 years old but she wasn't scared at all but instead she was happy and excited!! I thought maybe it was only her but Ethan ( 3 years old) was happy also. What a shocker right? They were afraid when they heard we were going to the doctor but when we get there arrived, their moods flipped from being scared to excited. Haha I think it's because of the friendly environment. I also got my ray ban sunglasses there too. Their price is really reasonable compared to retail stores which is why I will come back here more often!! :) read more

I've been going to Dr. Tran for years, and the staff was always awesome until I tried making an appointment this year, first time speaking to Amy (very rude and talks over you). The day of my appointment she not only doesn't go over my benefits but when I tried to tell her what was covered and that she was overcharging she just ignored me and asked if I wanted the glasses or not and that my insurance just covered the eye exam so make me doubt myself!! When I got home called the insurance who verified and confirmed the lenses were covered as I thought and was asked to file a complaint by the Insurance Representative but wanted to fix this first and decided to call the Optometrist office so spoke with Amy again who wouldn't even let me explain and kept talking over me then she said she said she would call me back so again I called the insurance for the second time and the Rep called the office while I was on hold so told me that Amy would call me back. Anyway she did call me back but only to tell me the claim was submitted as private and if I wanted a second pair of glasses with my insurance!!! That she apologized because she didn't even check the authorization and failed to verified what was covered!! About my refund?? Have to wait two weeks. Later I learned Amy is Dr. Tran's sister. People be careful and if you have any questions in regards to your benefits.. Call your insurance, and report this. AWFUL SERVICE!!! read more

If i could give this office a 0 star i would. Parents be aware of the fraud this office does. Know your kids benefits , by law your kids or you ,are eligible for a 2nd eye exam if needed sooner than the routine time. It is a benefit covered by insurance and medical, especially if your kids are having problems with their eyesight or glasses. DARI the "office manager" will tell you its not a covered benefit or that its too soon or that you have to pay out of pocket , which is a LIE they are only trying to get your cash. Until today they realized there are people who are aware of this . Not to mention how rude and unprofessional Dari and Amy were , they talk over you and are sarcastic, they definitely do not care about the well being of their patients vision but only care about the money. Stay away from scammers like them, call your insurance find a legit office that will take care your health as a priority. read more

VERY rude front desk ladies. We called in last week for an appointment. My mom also called them right before we went to the location to make sure if we qualify with the insurance. The lady said that it's okay to come in because they have our insurance. We came in half an hr early just to be told that we didn't qualify. Really waste of time to drive there right after work. My colleague referred me to Dr. Tran. I but I live in Rosemead. I don't like to drive that far but anyway on my way to orange county I decided to stop by this so called "awesome Dr." to check it out. I made 4:30 p.m. appointment, but I didn't know the traffic was a killer..bumper to bumper. I called the office to tell them that if I don't get there by 5 p.m. just don't wait for me :). Dr. Tran said "just take your time and don't worry'. I got there at 5:30 p.m. I felt so bad because all the staff were gone, but Dr. Tran and his wife were waiting for me. Instead of rushing me through the exam and choose the frame, they allowed me to take my time. I love the relax and easy attitude from Dr. Tran. I didn't feel that I was obligated to do anything. Anyway, I got my eyes checked and got an awesome pair of new glasses :). I guess I have to say good bye to my "old eye Dr' that I have been with since 1999. Time for a change :).
