had my appointment here yesterday and loved the service. The staff was friendly, patient, and helped me navigate all my glasses options. The Dr helped me address all my eye concerns with patience and explained my eye health situation in the best way possible. I am the type of person who needs to understand the why behind treatment recommendations and consequences of not following treatment to be really good at following it and the Dr did a great job of giving me this information without me even having to ask. I've had the same optometrist in the Bay Area for over 20-ish years. Since moving to Southern California, I've always been looking for an optometrist to switch to. Then, when Dr. Troung opened up Frame + Sight, hubby and I decided to go. Getting there was easy for us and there was ample parking. It's in a huge plaza that has a lot of amenities, like wellness, working out, food, Trader Joe's, you name it. Currently, Frame + Sight is in is in a little quiet vacated section in the plaza - but that just means there's a lot of parking available! Right when we walked into their office, it felt like walking into a wellness center with nice gorgeous sage, oak, white, marble, and gold aesthetics, with beautiful frames, laid out and placed nicely on shelves. I instantly told hubby, wow, can we have this for our living room? It's beautiful. As a disclaimer, Dr. Troung is a friend of ours, but I want to share that we have never received any of her services before. So if helpful, this review is based on her services provided using her newest technology. Since I've been to only one optometrist, they are processes might be "outdated (?)" or maybe just the standard. Some of the things that I found new and different was not getting your eyes dilated! This was the BEST because being blind-ish and having to wear sunglasses indoors for a while after was something I didn't look forward to at the optometrist. They also took scans of each of our eyes by looking through a huge device, staring at a target and waiting for a flash to snap. Instead of using an air blower to your eyes to check for pressure, she had this thing that felt like "butterflies" kissing your eyes (haha or it just tickled). Last, to check peripheral vision, there's a VR headset machine that felt like I was playing a video game. So I've been dealing with a lot of dry eyes over the past few years (so dry that I was having a hard time wearing contacts) and I liked that she was straightforward with telling me how dry they looked (whereas in the past two years, my other doctor couldn't see or didn't tell me although I was having issues wearing contacts). I went with the recommendations she had for my condition with contacts, eye drops, and a hygiene routine to combat this dryness. Ugh, sometimes it's tough getting older! ALSO in the interim, while I was waiting for my appointment, it was fun trying on new glasses. She chose independent frame companies for her practice for her own independent small business, which I thought was really cool. Overall, I'd highly recommend Frame + Sight. I had a really great time and experience there. It's literally a one-stop shop and they can also cut your new lenses in house to get your frames sooner! I forgot to mention they offered us coffee when we arrived, which is an extra value added service I'm not used to at an optometrist - and even though I had coffee that morning, I was like YES PLEASE! tldr: If you're looking for somewhere beautiful and calming, new technology, sharp and honest eye doctor, check them out! read more

Best optometry experience! The office is beautiful and clean with a modern chic design. I went in for a long overdue eye exam, and was amazed by the new tech used during the examination. They even use VR which added a fun, new twist to the exam. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They kindly answered all my questions and explained in great lengths about what I can expect with my first pair of progressives and the different options. And to top it off, they have the best frame selection. It was very challenging to choose. I normally struggle to find a pair that fits my smaller face but I was stuck between two and truly appreciate their patience and the care shown to ensure I would be happy with my new pair of glasses. I recently had my first consultation with Frame+Sight about a month ago and I was thoroughly impressed! To give some background my grandfather just retired as an optometrist in the Bay Area. With him retiring and also me relocating down to Southern California I was very nervous and overwhelmed with the idea of seeing a new optometrist for the first time in my life. The whole experience at Frame and Sight was very calm and easy; the aesthetic of the office surely helps with any nerves. Everything that was completed during my exam was explained very well and Christine really took the time to walk me through all the advance technology that was being used. Her team was/is amazing and I felt as if I was getting advice on which glasses fit best and looked the best from a friend!! I don't say or take that experience for granted as I've only been told by my grandfather my whole life what looks best on me.. Thank you Christine & Team!! Such an amazing find! I just moved to the area and needed both contact lens & glasses. The location is convenient and easy to find, with plenty of parking. Dr. Truong was so knowledgeable, patient and helpful; taking time to learn about my concerns and what I am looking for. I also have issues with dry eyes and she was able to provide me with more tips than I expected, going out of her way to give me resources to help alleviate the dryness. After using some of her suggestions, I noticed my dry eyes were improving in a few days. The eye exam itself was smooth and the experience was efficient. I also appreciate how new/clean the office was and the equipment too. Something I also noticed was the curated selection of glasses and how she knew the details & differences of each brand, I tried on so many glasses - I never felt rushed and appreciated the advice given. Last Friday I was in the area of Long Beach and I had to pick up my daughter from there. My glasses felt a little loose. So I saw this optometry store and went in to get the screws tightened. I was greeted by a very nice young lady, which she later told me her name was Trina. Trina never stopped to smile and she took my glasses and took her time to tightening them and then she took her time cleaning them with lots of lots smile. She made me so comfortable and happy to be there. After she cleaned them up she told me that it was for free. She put a big smile on my face. A elevated optometry experience then I am use to. Latest and greatest technology. Incorporated VR head set to process. No dilating eyes or puffing machine a plus. In addition, glasses can be done in a day as they have their own lens cutting machine as long as your lens are in stock. Definitely a one stop shop would recommend. Staff is friendly and helpful. This was an amazing company. The two owners are beyond phenomenal ad some of the nicest clinicians I've ever met. They were so kind and caring to the needs I had. I had no way of getting to them so they were so kind to drive almost 2 hours just to give me my glasses. I was in a treatment facility and they were beyond understanding and graceful when it came to my situation. They were very good at communication and making sure I felt like I was heard. They took such good care. The prices are much more realistic whereas the last optometrist I went to charged me much more than necessary. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
