I've been coming to Total Vision Optometry for years. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. I would like to say that my last experience, about a week ago, was the best I've had there. Typically, I was use to waiting a bit to be seen and to pick my frames. This time, I was called in right away and luckily the last staff member saved the frame style into my profile so that saved a bunch of time. My appointment was for 5p, they actually accommodated for an earlier 3pm visit since I was already in the area. I went with a pair of Dita frames and they called me to tell me they were ready in about a week. Overall, they get 5 stars from me because they have the speed of service down now and it doesn't feel like I'm spending too much time there. The frames were perfect as well. read more

Dr. Sanchez is polite enough however clarified he is incapable of treating my needs of vision care. As a result, he offered me a full refund of my glasses and contacts. However, please note that he did not examine me with the second pair of contacts that he had me try on after I stated that those were not as good as the ones he previously prescribed. This lack of willingness to work with patients is highly disappointing when needing care. He simply didn't want to take the time. What is surprising is that he and the staff deleted my medical file WITHOUT my consent. Under California law this is illegal!! I believe the refund is a tactic of his to not tie him to my care. We've been coming here for about 14 years. Doctors are okay. We've never experienced an issue, until recently. After getting an exam my 11 year old son was treated horrible by Lupe. Lupe is very rude and condescending. She has a bad attitude especially towards children. After this encounter, we will no longer do business with this establishment. We have already contacted another local optometrists. Hate to say it, but we are moving on. read more

This place is located inside the Stonewood Mall. I usually park by Macy's and Sears and cut through Macy's. I've been coming here for a little over a year and from the get go I've felt very comfortable asking any questions about my vision. The Dr. is friendly and has listened to my concerns regarding my vision. Once it came time to choose the right frames, I was sent to Martha who is very sweet and nice. She has helped me better understand what kind of insurance I have. I only go to her to help me because I feel comfortable enough to ask her any questions regarding frames and styles. She is also very patient as I have tried on many lenses in the past hoping to pick the right ones that look good. This past year I scratched one of my lenses and I was able to get the glass replaced. This location is very convenient I really like the staff that works there. Only reason I'm upset is that I booked an appointment online and there was plenty of times open. I made plans at work and home to go to my appointment. Then received an email the next day in the afternoon saying that my selected time of appointment was not available. My insurance has many options and I found Total Vision using my Yelp app. I scheduled my appointment for a Saturday morning with Dr. Sanchez. The ladies working the front were very kind and greeted me. Dr. Sanchez was also very kind, addressed my concerns, and completed my exam with no problems. After I was done I met with Lupe to look over what my insurance covered, and the features I wanted without trying to sell me things I didn't want. We looked over their selection of frames. I really liked the brands they offer such as Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Oliver Peoples, Dior, etc. I wanted a new pair of grey frames and she helped pick out a few styles. I chose the Gucci frames which suited my face well. FYI prices are a little higher than they are online, as expected. The following week my glasses were ready for pick up and they made sure I was comfortable and had a great fit. I definitely recommend them and Dr. Sanchez! read more

The worst. We visited Dr. Korth for 25 years and the family owned office was amazing- everyone was so kind and helpful. Since Total Vision took over exams are more expensive, service is terrible, and wait times for glasses are 3-4 weeks min. They won't even provide eye drops if you need them! Finding a new office - Dr. Korth and his office were amazing- he is the only reason I'm still there. After he leaves, we will be finding a new office to go to. read more

I don't normally write reviews but thought I'd share my experience and give other concerned customers an idea of what's going on at this office. I went to the office Saturday afternoon and was shocked with the carelessness and lack of government issued protocols the office maintained. 1) They have signs to stop outside the door BUT there is know one outside the door to help customers come into the store and keep social distance a priority. 2) They have 3 signs on the windows, small printed but it would be nice if they were bigger or strategically placed where they are more visible. 3) It seemed like the time I spent there, they (staff)would take turns to take people in, but most of the time people just walked in. 4) As for the disinfecting, I observed they didn't disinfect in between customers. 5) The office itself was very crowded, people that were not together or of the same family were huddled at different areas of the store at any given time. I've been going to this store for many years and have been a loyal customer. It saddens to know that they are not taking Covid-19 seriously and very concerned for both customers and employees. read more

I really loved this optometry! They were very nice when I went for my eye check-up and refill on contacts. They were really nice and did not have to wait long when I arrived for my appointment. So glad that I was able to find a great optometrist that is not too far away from me! They also had a great selection on eye glasses and really loved their brands. Two years ago I went to Sears next door to Total Vision, and my experience was horrible. My prescription was completely off and they told me just wear them and get use to them. But as a person that's been wearing glasses his entire life, I knew something was off. I took them back and got a refund and never went back. So Ill start by saying Total Vision could have received a 5 * but lost a star on Value. They were extremely accommodating very fast and the staff every one of them were super friendly. The Doctor was great as well super nice and very efficient. I purchased contacts they gave them to me that day within minutes. Here's where they lose a star. I also wanted glasses and brought my own frames. The lens build would have been same day so that was a plus +. But the pricing was higher than I have paid in the past double to be exact. Very disappointed in this store! Came in to buy two pairs of glasses, the 1st pair came in after one week, but did not have a case, I'm still waiting on that. The 2nd pair came in after 2 weeks but were defective, and was told they would come in on week 3, but nothing yet. I find it very annoying that after spending over $500 in glasses that they would be a little bit more proactive, and would call me for some type of update. This review is for the office mgr Lupe not the drs themselves, today i contacted the office and spoke with Lupe to inform her that I picked up my glasses a week ago an tried them on and instantly got a headache when I asked about this since my first pair prior never caused this issue I was told there was a prescription on this pair that w insurance used they only take into consideration towards glasses w prescription...I had mention that I was unhappy how I wasn't contacted originally when my glasses were ready to pick up w the lenses I actually had to call myself around a month later to see if they were in and was informed they had been ready ...I told this to Lupe and she kept referring back to the fact that this was the prescription I was given by the drs that I can go do another appt which I brought up again had I been called earlier to pick up my glasses I could of started the process of correcting the fact that I had a issue w the prescription now I have to take time off work to fix this she kept focusing on the fact that since I'm so unhappy w multiple issues they don't have to reschedule a appt they can just cancel me as a customer and my file all together an refund me...at this point I'm highly frustrated at the fact that's her first resolution to a unhappy customer and pointed out to her I was NOT unhappy w the drs at all just the process that I was not notified when I should of been and she then claimed I was contacted on nov 25 I indicated I was never notified at all and that seemed really quick also considering when my appt was on the 20th afternoon ...I told her this is not the way a customer service person should interact w a customer an all i was informed was that she will speak w the dr and see what he wants to do... Customer service was great. Cute place, well organized. Really nice, professional and informative doctor. You can tell he enjoys his job. The prices were great as well. I could not believe that the eye exam, contact fitting and a pair of glasses costs me less than $150. (Use the yelp discount, its good on anything there). Oh and all was done in less than 2 hours. Dr. Sanchez is amazing!! I have worn contact lenses for as long as I can remember and recently with age my vision has changed and I had to wear reading glasses plus my contact lenses. I mentioned this to Dr. Sanchez and he suggested that we try monovision. He took the time to explain to me how it works and scheduled a follow up for the following week. No other optometrist has ever suggested this and it was truly unbelievable! He gave me sample lenses and I could not believe what a difference it made... Went today for an exam and purchase of glasses and wow, what an amazing experience. The customer service was a 10 out of 10. Walked right in attended immediately. The staff super friendly. The doctor was amazing. Not only did he explain in detail symptoms I had, we were having a friendly convo as he's performing the exam. Felt like a family friend was the one attending me. As a new patient here at TVO I wasn't sure what to expect. I was referred by a family member and upon arrival the staff was very nice and friendly. They called me in in less than 15 min. I came in for a contact exam and this was my first time getting contacts. The Dr. explained everything thoroughly, she taught me how to put them on and how to take them off in less then 5 minutes I was amazed!! As I was ready to purchase contacts I was told that my insurance (VSP) covers $100, so I bought 2 boxes, $50 each box, which last 6 months and I had to pay NOTHING! The only thing I paid for was for the exam! I was so happy! I definitely recommend this office! 5 stars for amazing customer service and GREAT prices!! read more
