LapFix ordered the replacement, only to be sent the wrong product. LapFix re-ordered a correct replacement and charged me over $100 for labor. The replaced screen only lasted 2 months before splitting apart again. I'm not a hipster that drags my laptop around town and park at coffee shops for hours, my laptop rarely leaves my home. When I returned to LapFix they plan to order from the same supplier and will charge me another $350 to replace the screen. I said no thank you, at this point I might as well buy a whole new laptop. Hey LapFix, maybe you should change suppliers, they're probably selling you refurbished crap.

He doesn't mind answering questions and engaging with the client. As with any technology, one never really knows what the issue might be that is causing the problem. At the outset, Omid thought it might be the fuser but after testing the printing using the bypass paper tray, and the print job completing, he quickly ruled out it being a fuser issue. At this point he did some research on his phone and then did a soft reset on the printer. Unbelievably it resolved my printer printing issue that I was having from using the main paper tray. He couldn't be sure as to why the printer settings were corrupted and had to be reset, but who cares at this point because I had been faced with buying a fuser, a new printer or any other expensive part. Most importantly I didn't have to continue going to the library to print anymore at $.15/page. I highly recommend Omid and his company.

Marcus was a gem and helped send over some files that I wasn't able to back up before handing him my laptop. He definitely went above and beyond. He was extremely responsive, and I got my laptop back and sheeee isss looking cutee!!! It's like I have a brand-new laptop. To be transparent with costs and services: I paid for a diagnosis ($99), a new battery ($52), and repairs/replacements for my keyboard, webcam, computer screen, and whatever else was messed up ($399). Even though it seemed like a lot, it really is not when you think about the context. --I got to keep my 7-year-old computer that I LOVE, and now it feels brand new. A new laptop with the exact same processor/ram would've killed my bank account. I also live in NYC usually, and I KNOW this would've been WAY more. --I know NOTHING about fixing computers. While I can do YouTube searches to do minor software troubleshoots, I don't even know how to open up a laptop to see what's inside. --They're professionals who have gained years of knowledge, education, and experience to be able to do this.
