One week later, he showed me the laptop with the screen half-installed and claimed the internal fan needed replacement too--I agreed. That's when I spotted the screen packaging clearly labeled "Refurbished." When I called him out, David insisted it was "new out of the box" and said I'd need to pay $80 more for a "new-new OEM" screen. I agreeed again. Picked it up October 29. The screen lit up briefly in-store, but that night, dark vertical bands appeared at the bottom. Over the next two weeks: * Cracks formed in one corner under normal use * Brightness control not working (both manual & auto) * One speaker grill was broken * Adhesive around the screen peeled loose I sent photos via text. Radio silence. Went in person with the laptop. David accused me of breaking it myself and refused to honor the 90-day warranty or offer any refund. Bottom line: Sold me a refurbished screen as new Charged extra for "OEM" after lying Delivered a defective product with additional damage Ignored texts, then stonewalled in person Avoid this shop. They prey on trust and hide behind fake warranties. I'm out $700+ and still need a real repair elsewhere.
