My printer sat another 2 months while I waited I researched others. Because this was a $800 printer, I thought I'd try again despite the hour drive to and from. I ended up not taking my 10 year old printer to PTC Plus but really appreciated our phone conversation. First, if I had brought the printer in and it could not be fixed, the charge would have been zero. Who works like that any more?! He also told me parts were no longer available but maybe a good cleaning could help. And I was advised if I purchased a new printer, since I often print on cardstock, to get one with a rear feed so the cardstock doesn't go around the front roller. I've used PTC a couple of years ago for my Epson 3800. It had some electronic error, and Hassan had it fixed, cleaned and running again. Lately, my old Brother MFC-9840 cdw was showing a scary error, and making a scarier noise, besides spreading ink dust all over the prints. I was afraid it was time to dump it. But Hassan fixed it while my husband and I watched him work. He is very knowledgeable and his charges are very reasonable. For a person like me, who runs a small photography business, it's a blessing to find a place like this, with a techinician you can trust and to whom you can talk directly. I looked on the Canon and Epson sites for a qualified service center, since I didn't want to trust a big box store to troubleshoot my expensive large format photo printer. I wanted someone who was experienced and knowledgeable. PTC Plus is the place for both brands. Talked to Hasan about the problem with my Epson R3000 printer and set up a time to drop it off. He quickly diagnosed the problem and promised it the next afternoon. I picked up the printer on time, it works like new and I couldn't be happier. This is an awsome service and the owner is competent and friendly as they come. They fix all major brands of copiers, printers etc. I brought in a restaurant prep printer that costs $400 new. It was refurbished and returned for $65 good as new. If you have a printer, fax, copier type of machine that is not working properly and frustrating you, bring it here and he will fix it very inexpensively. read more

I received prompt, excellent service while I waited for about 1/2 hour for the proprietor to fix a paper jam in my Canon printer. I thought the $75 cost was reasonable and was happy I could still get some use out of an excellent Canon printer that was about $250 when new. read more

Had 3 photography exhibits coming up and my epson 3880 started running ink all over the photos. Found Hasan at PTC - epson authorized repair. He was spectacular. He knew exactly what was wrong, replaced a part quickly (a couple of days to receive the part from epson and fixed an hour later) and charged a very fair price. Over the next week, the printer had several more issues. Hasan was immediately responsive, talked things through on the phone, saw us immediately when we brought the printer in, replaced parts quickly (the elapsed time was generally an hour more than the day or two it took for epson to ship the parts) and charged no more for labor after the first time. The printer is now working perfectly. But he was clear that if the repairs didn't fix all the problems, he'd refund everything. Can't say enough good things. Wish everybody ran a business the way he does. His card is now taped to our printer. read more
