He is a true treasure for computer problems in this age of disposable hardware the manufacturers have pushed!

I hired Landmark Computer in the spring of 2010 when my 4-year-old Dell up and died one morning. I…read morecalled several computer fix-it places and decided on Landmark because the person who answered the phone (who turned out to be the owner, Bud Stolker) took the time to talk through what had happened in the computer's last moments, seemed like he knew what he was talking about, gave a reasonable-sounding price estimate, and said he would come to our house on a weekend to pick up the computer. I was incredibly happy with Landmark's service. It turned out our hard drive was failing. The backup system we thought we had set up was not working right, so we were looking at possibly losing all our photos, music, etc. But Bud was able to recover all except a few files. He then installed a new hard drive, brought the computer back to our house, re-set it up, installed a free program to automatically back up our files onto our external hard drive, and installed an updated virus protection system--all for I think $325 for the labor and hard drive plus $40 for delivering the computer. I was reminded to write this review because just now, almost a year later, our computer was running slowly, and I wrote to Landmark again. Bud had us do something where we logged on to his website and downloaded something so he could look at our computer from afar as though he were here. (As you can see I am not super computer literate.) He confirmed that we had a reasonable amount of free disk space and did not have any viruses, then deleted something unnecessary that had been running automatically when the computer started up. Now the computer is running much faster. This took him about 20 minutes and didn't charge us anything--he said he would only charge us if he had to do something more time-consuming. All this is to say, I heartily recommend Landmark Computer!

I had a number of problems that needed fixing and being a procrastinating luddite, I put off trying to figure out how to fix them/get them fixed. Then Max's name from MAXimumTek popped up in glowing recs on several list servs, so I called him. In a matter of 2 hours, he'd fixed the connectivity problem in the house, got my landline working, and very nicely, very effectively, got Comcast to agree to give me not only a credit for the months in which the landline was not operative, but also to give me 6 months of Showtime free. Wow! I don't know about you but I get extra cranky when I've got absolutely no idea of how something works or how it can be fixed and therefore no sense of whether a proposed fix or price is reasonable. So I really appreciate knowing that people like Max - seriously talented, trustworthy and reasonably priced - are out there. And he's a really nice guy to boot! Here's Max's info. Keep it handy! What was provided : An outdated in appearance website, a site with no real cohesiveness, a site with many flaws/quality control issues ( tons of typos, why should I have to explain to him why the spelling of words and etc is off?) ; the best way to sum it up ....an extremely dark and cluttered s**t show. What was communicated by me to Omar: I'm not happy with the way the site flows, there's something off in the design, and I requested various things be fixed. With every individual thing I would ask Omar to fix he would have a rebuttal for why it wasn't possible to fix. It got to the point I felt I was being taken advantage of because I was a woman ( I became drained and wanted no parts in communicating with him) , my fiancé began to handle all communication with him. What my fiancé stated to Omar: We weren't happy with the quality of the product, Omar requesting more money from us when he had failed to deliver a quality product up to that point was ludicrous, and to basically get the job done right or we walk. My fiancé made an excel spreadsheet of all changes that needed to be made for the site to be professional and something we could walk away with, after some back and Omar agreed to the changes. It's been a month since my fiancé has been coordinating with Omar, we still haven't received a final quality product - every draft of the project sent to us has been flawed. When my fiancé attempts to communicate with Omar via phone he either never follows through or stays behind his safety net, email communication. MY WARNING TO ALL : Omar will sit you down in a meeting and show you various projects that he's claimed to have completed from beginning to end , do not believe the hype; after seeing the product he attempted to provide me with I'm positive majority of said products weren't his. I checked out his Yelp reviews prior to meeting with him, majority of those reviews have been moved to the "not recommended section" , I'm sure this indicates they were likely not real. Omar still has some five star reviews but after reading them I'm finding majority of them (if not all) are for small projects, pamphlets and things of that sort- Omar is not capable of larger projects (websites) and his quality of work definitely doesn't command the $1,500 he was charging us ( I can't believe he even had the nerve to suggest we pay him $2,500, he knew what his capabilities were ).Check out his photos, do you think he actually designed Drakes site? I've consulted with various designers, the general consensus is what I said earlier - the site is a dark and cluttered s**t show. I took a leap of faith in working with Omar because he appeared to really know his stuff. I'm now working with an actual reputable web designer who has so far exceeded all of my expectations, I look forward to completing my project with a reputable web design firm. **We have requested a refund from Omar ( and have received no response) if he does not provide us with a refund by 2/18 I'll be posting screenshots of all of his low quality work to this page - as well as various other social platforms.... and I'll just allow our bank to handle Omar and his shady business**

He and I had bought a few books on SEO a couple years ago and had taken care of labeling a few pictures and adding a couple key words but left it at that. Our goal in hiring CMS was to improve the site's position in Google's organic search results. CMS thoroughly evaluated the site's current performance and put together an ongoing monthly plan to help improve its rankings. After only 3 months, visitors to the site have just about doubled and sales are already up 26%! That to me is INCREDIBLE!!! We are THRILLED with these results so far and the service CMS provided was top notch! CMS under-promised and over-delivered and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. I would give TEN stars but Yelp only offers a max of five. *sigh* :)

The company is young but off to a fast start. See www.wildflourcaterers.com
