What was promised : Omar assured me I would have a sleek design, quality website, and the tools needed to aid in customer growth/retention. What was provided : An outdated in appearance website, a site with no real cohesiveness, a site with many flaws/quality control issues ( tons of typos, why should I have to explain to him why the spelling of words and etc is off?) ; the best way to sum it up ....an extremely dark and cluttered s**t show. What was communicated by me to Omar: I'm not happy with the way the site flows, there's something off in the design, and I requested various things be fixed. With every individual thing I would ask Omar to fix he would have a rebuttal for why it wasn't possible to fix. It got to the point I felt I was being taken advantage of because I was a woman ( I became drained and wanted no parts in communicating with him) , my fiancé began to handle all communication with him. What my fiancé stated to Omar: We weren't happy with the quality of the product, Omar requesting more money from us when he had failed to deliver a quality product up to that point was ludicrous, and to basically get the job done right or we walk. My fiancé made an excel spreadsheet of all changes that needed to be made for the site to be professional and something we could walk away with, after some back and Omar agreed to the changes. It's been a month since my fiancé has been coordinating with Omar, we still haven't received a final quality product - every draft of the project sent to us has been flawed. When my fiancé attempts to communicate with Omar via phone he either never follows through or stays behind his safety net, email communication. MY WARNING TO ALL : Omar will sit you down in a meeting and show you various projects that he's claimed to have completed from beginning to end , do not believe the hype; after seeing the product he attempted to provide me with I'm positive majority of said products weren't his. I checked out his Yelp reviews prior to meeting with him, majority of those reviews have been moved to the "not recommended section" , I'm sure this indicates they were likely not real. Omar still has some five star reviews but after reading them I'm finding majority of them (if not all) are for small projects, pamphlets and things of that sort- Omar is not capable of larger projects (websites) and his quality of work definitely doesn't command the $1,500 he was charging us ( I can't believe he even had the nerve to suggest we pay him $2,500, he knew what his capabilities were ).Check out his photos, do you think he actually designed Drakes site? I've consulted with various designers, the general consensus is what I said earlier - the site is a dark and cluttered s**t show. I took a leap of faith in working with Omar because he appeared to really know his stuff. I'm now working with an actual reputable web designer who has so far exceeded all of my expectations, I look forward to completing my project with a reputable web design firm. **We have requested a refund from Omar ( and have received no response) if he does not provide us with a refund by 2/18 I'll be posting screenshots of all of his low quality work to this page - as well as various other social platforms.... and I'll just allow our bank to handle Omar and his shady business** read more

After years of having a sub par website Design House Lab helped us to get something that looks much more modern and is more useful. We have received a new client contact from the site almost every day since we have gone live with it. They were great about tweaking things after the fact that did not come out as expected. We are quite happy with the final product and plan to go back with them once we want to build more functionality into the site. read more

I am a small business owner who hired Design House Lab over a year ago to create a custom website for $5000. That was out of my budget but I was willing to spend the money for a professional Ecommerce site. I initially was assigned KYRON to manage my project and was genuinely impressed with his communication skills and professional candor. He preferred to speak on the phone versus email and sold me 100% on what the company had to offer and support. Unfortunately, The second I paid the first installment and I was locked in- the professionalism and willingness to "support me" abruptly ended. After hassling and emailing and following up constantly over a span of four months, I was given every excuse and reason in the book as to why my website was falling further and further behind schedule. "Our server is down" "Our designers are out sick" "Mechanical Errors" "Larger projects take precedence" "It will be done on Friday" then Friday would become two weeks later. Apparently one or two web designers aren't in charge of creating your site, it is in fact many different designers picking up where the others left off and now my site is still riddled with inaccuracies and my clients can not even purchase successfully from my site. $5k later and I've had to revert my clients to personal invoices because my site is so unreliable. I realize now that the purpose of all the "phone calls" was for them to evade documentation of their promises. Example: I was told if I ever changed hosting sites they would transfer and set up my site for free. Now they want to charge me a fee because since that verbal agreement their "management has changed." I can't even talk to anyone higher up than my project representative after several requests. I 100% regret choosing them and am actively working to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I can only hope that writing this would save one other prospective business from losing over a year and as many customers and hours out of their life trying to get design house lab to fulfill their agreements. I wish I saw their negative reviews before signing that contract. I have never written a single negative review in my life but this isn't just a bad meal you can forget about. Our contract promised a bug free website that was never delivered. They talked up their capabilities, charged me full price and wasted 2 years of my time. Do a background check on the owner so that you too can see that he is a con man. read more
