Tteokbokki.
Tracy M.

We hadn't been here in years, but I was wanting some tteokbokki. Located in the Village of Fishkill on Route 52. The large menu has a lot of sushi options, but that's not what we were there for. I got my tteokbokki (tuk boki) which was spicy but delicious, and tho it was an appetizer, it was enough to have been an entree itself. We got tako balls which were also really good tho they could've had more octopus in them. Then we had some ra myun which was a large serving of yumminess. I will definitely have to make it back here the next time I am craving good Korean food.

Oh yea this place was totally awesome! Thank you to the sweet Korean lady serving us and a great dinner. Sushi was crazy good and so was all our dinner. Lovely calming atmosphere inside. 5 stars all the way.

It is a very large restaurant but not many people were there. The hostess wasn't there at first so we sat our selfs and got menus (we came at 2:30 though) but the food was so good it was hot and it came out so fast. Recommend to anyone looking for Japanese or Korean food!

Delicious food, good service and a nice place to be. The local community was keeping this restaurant busy on a Thursday! We were happy to see them busy. The spicy pork gopdol bibimbap (sizzling hot bowl) is delicious! The sushi is very good too! Wine is reasonably priced. Def one of my favorites.

Service has been much better last couple visits. Not much of a wait at all. Food is consistently amazing. One of my favorite local restaurants.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. Slow as expected on a Tuesday night but they didn't slack on the quality. Had the fishkill sushi roll that totally filled me up before the main course so leftovers equals lunch tomorrow.

Spicy pho with seafood

Very quite and peaceful vibe here, definitely relaxing. The staff overall were very nice and welcoming, made sure to get my food over in a timely fashion and asked how I enjoyed the food, basic stuff but always appreciated a warm approach they do. Now got to love a huge menu with many choices and even pictures of all the menu items so you know exactly what you're getting, particularly if you figure out by name alone what it could have. The crab on fire roll was fresh and just right amount of filling and sauce drizzled on top. Did not need to dip that roll to add, since it stands on it in flavor. Though could been spicier. Now the spicy pho was pretty spicy and well seasoned, no miss steps on it, a fair amount of seafood and definitely a generous amount of rice noodles, I definitely had to it take to go, from noodle overload. The prices were a-little higher than average but considering the quality and the fact the service takes care of you here, well worth your dollar.

Great sushi! Interesting rolls and really fresh fish. The tuna tataki appetizer is also great.

KorPot - Twisted doughnut with cream cheese... AMAZING!!!!

The Banchan ( marinated cucumber and Kabocha (Japanese pumpkin). The meal was well-prepared and delicious. Just wish they have more selections, such as Kalbi. The soup is similar to miso soup but with a kick. Love it! Need more Banchan selections (at least 4) to earn another star.

Thanks, Yelp! I found this amazing spot by searching for Korean food in my area and ....voila!!…read moreRight near my hotel. I arrived early....just before 5pm on a weekday and had the place to myself for a little while. It's super clean with wonderful service, and there's k-pop playing on a big screen TV. What else could you want? How about absolutely outstanding food? Yes! I was hangry so I ordered a kimchi pancake and an order of bibimbap (no meat) with extra hot sauce. Before all that arrived, I was surprised and delighted by a perfect salad with amazing dressing that I'd like to bathe in and small cup of friggin' delicious pumpkin soup. My kimchi pancake was the spicy, carb-laden appetizer that I needed with a plentiful side of chili sauce. Then, my sizzling bibimbap arrived and I was thrilled to find purple rice under the fresh, assorted vegetables and fried egg. A side of kimchi and fish cakes accompanied my bibimbap. My iced ginger tea was sweet and a perfect complement to the rest of the meal. I almost polished off everything....loved that purple rice that got nice and crispy in that hot pot. Gochunjang tasted homemade...thick, spicy, savory and slightly sweet. The menu isn't extensive or overwhelming....it's just right. There's a nice selection of Makgeolli, so I got a bottle to take home with me for the weekend. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the neighborhood.

Blue Spice has been on my to-do list for literally years, and Monday was finally the day. I stopped…read moreby for lunch with my top-tier chum, a native of the Kingdom of Sussex who has been here before and has spoken highly of it. I don't know why I was surprised to discover this was in a strip mall, but that's on me. A nice one, at least. The place was relatively busy but we were able to secure a table easily with zero wait time. Pleasant vibes inside. I don't mean this as an insult at all but I was expecting more ethnic decor in line with the restaurant's menu - instead, it's pretty Americanized and feels like a classic suburban NJ establishment. I liked the painted brick on the lefthand side that has Blue Spice's logo/sign on it; spiffy. The bathroom was also a high point, which is...not something I say often. It was very clean and smelled nice, and I liked the dark cruise-ship lighting vibe. We decided to split the scallion pancake app, which was an excellent decision. I work in the city and regularly have this item from a place in Chinatown, and I honestly thought this was better, mostly because it was thicker/denser than what I'm used to. Super tasty and would get that again in a heartbeat. Giant portion as well - we split the pancake, which was roughly the size of a small pizza. My chum had leftovers there, I did not; so it goes with us. I've had a few mediocre chicken katsu experiences of late, so this seemed like a chance for redemption. I ordered the Akiko Curry entree, which was their spin on chicken katsu curry. Honestly wasn't my favorite. Again, a HUGE portion here and was only able to finish about 60% of it despite having a pretty legit appetite coming in. And the presentation value is excellent as well, as far as that goes. This could easily just be a personal palate preference, but I wasn't crazy about the curry itself (which had a weird tang to it) and didn't resemble the standard curry I'm used to with this dish. Also, as you can see from the attached, the curry is basically on the side of the dish, separated from the chicken and rice. Because of that, the chicken is on the dry side, which is my primary beef (pun?) with the item to begin with. So a miss for me, but I could see why other people would like this (and apparently do). The service was excellent, full stop. Our waitress was very nice and personable; she had strong command of the menu and you could see her consistently engaging with other patrons throughout our meal as well. She took several group photos so this is apparently a Kingdom of Sussex hot spot for that, which I wouldn't have guessed. She was so good both of us remarked on it multiple times during the meal, which is a rarity. But a great example of hospitality markedly improving an experience and making what was already an overall positive situation that much better. Huge marks there. Would definitely come back but would explore other parts of the menu once I feasted on the scallion pancake.
