    Scallion Pancake.
    Emma G.

Blue Spice has been on my to-do list for literally years, and Monday was finally the day. I stopped by for lunch with my top-tier chum, a native of the Kingdom of Sussex who has been here before and has spoken highly of it. I don't know why I was surprised to discover this was in a strip mall, but that's on me. A nice one, at least. The place was relatively busy but we were able to secure a table easily with zero wait time. Pleasant vibes inside. I don't mean this as an insult at all but I was expecting more ethnic decor in line with the restaurant's menu - instead, it's pretty Americanized and feels like a classic suburban NJ establishment. I liked the painted brick on the lefthand side that has Blue Spice's logo/sign on it; spiffy. The bathroom was also a high point, which is...not something I say often. It was very clean and smelled nice, and I liked the dark cruise-ship lighting vibe. We decided to split the scallion pancake app, which was an excellent decision. I work in the city and regularly have this item from a place in Chinatown, and I honestly thought this was better, mostly because it was thicker/denser than what I'm used to. Super tasty and would get that again in a heartbeat. Giant portion as well - we split the pancake, which was roughly the size of a small pizza. My chum had leftovers there, I did not; so it goes with us. I've had a few mediocre chicken katsu experiences of late, so this seemed like a chance for redemption. I ordered the Akiko Curry entree, which was their spin on chicken katsu curry. Honestly wasn't my favorite. Again, a HUGE portion here and was only able to finish about 60% of it despite having a pretty legit appetite coming in. And the presentation value is excellent as well, as far as that goes. This could easily just be a personal palate preference, but I wasn't crazy about the curry itself (which had a weird tang to it) and didn't resemble the standard curry I'm used to with this dish. Also, as you can see from the attached, the curry is basically on the side of the dish, separated from the chicken and rice. Because of that, the chicken is on the dry side, which is my primary beef (pun?) with the item to begin with. So a miss for me, but I could see why other people would like this (and apparently do). The service was excellent, full stop. Our waitress was very nice and personable; she had strong command of the menu and you could see her consistently engaging with other patrons throughout our meal as well. She took several group photos so this is apparently a Kingdom of Sussex hot spot for that, which I wouldn't have guessed. She was so good both of us remarked on it multiple times during the meal, which is a rarity. But a great example of hospitality markedly improving an experience and making what was already an overall positive situation that much better. Huge marks there. Would definitely come back but would explore other parts of the menu once I feasted on the scallion pancake.

My mom found this place and it's a staple in our family. The galaxy lemonade is so good, i can drink it in one gulp. The purple color is created when they come and pour it over the top. Kids love it and find it so fun. Service is excellent! My mom can't eat vegetables (they upset her stomach) and so they give us all shrimp instead. It's perfectly fried. The shrimp fried rice is so good too! It's not overly greasy but still has the perfect flavor! I can eat the whole thing. The place is clean and the staff are inviting. I highly recommend stopping by!!

For the area this is the best Asian fusion you're going to get. However I wasn't happy with my dish, the food just lacked depth and I felt like it was just a plate of hot noodles. My wife had the udon soup with fried shrimp and that had good flavor to it. The birth was very good I'm just not a fan of udon. Overall this is a great place in the area I just feel like we ordered the wrong things but there really shouldn't be "wrong things" so idk. Oh and it's byob

A friend recommended this place to me because I love Asian fusion food. Although it is 45 minutes from where we live, we gave it a try today. The place is beautifully decorated with a warm and welcoming vibe. The waitress is very friendly and helpful (we love her). The food was delicious beyond our expectation! This is a gem! We will definitely return.

    Japche Glass noodles with beef

We ordered Korean scallion pancake as appetizer, Japchae glass noodles with beef, Akiko Curry and bibimbop with beef. We all like the pancake and glass noodles. I will definitely come back for glass noodles. The other dishes were average. The waiter and waitress were both friendly, very nice and they attended to our needs in advance. Fantastic service and nice dining atmosphere. This is a hidden gem. We will be back.

Akiko Curry (Top) KFC with cheese fries (bottom) Korean Special Latte

The best food I've ever had, no exaggeration, it's mouth watering good. I wish I could give this place 7 stars. From service to food and ambiance, I have not a single complaint. For apps, we got the chicken dumplings that were fresh and cooked to crispy perfection. and the boa buns literally MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, hands down the best thing I've ever tasted (we got the bulgogi ones). For entrees we tried the Akiko Curry which was (again) perfectly cooked with rich flavor. I also got the KFC with cheese fries, perfectly crispy and paired with a unique sauce that is ADDICTIVE. If you're in the area or coming from TreEscape or Mountain Creek, DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! Like I mean cancel your others plans and come here, I promise you won't regret it. I can't wait to come back.

Dinner here was really good overall and a solid experience from start to finish…read more I went with the sesame chicken and steamed white rice, which was exactly what I wanted. I also tried pork buns for the first time. It was not really my favorite, but it was still flavorful. My friend had the steamed sea bass, which was cooked perfectly and came with a really nice, tasty sauce. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet, patient, and attentive, offering recommendations and explaining the menu without being overbearing. They start you off with Chinese tea and a small plate of peanuts, which is a nice touch--but if you have a peanut allergy, make sure to let them know right away since it's placed on the table automatically. The meal ends with fresh cantaloupe, which was ice cold, sweet, and a refreshing finish. The restaurant itself is a nice size with reasonable prices. We went on a Saturday night and there was no wait. It could use a bit of sprucing up, but it was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the restaurant sits right on Route 46, so it's not hard to find at all. They accept all major credit cards and cash.

So…read morewhen I found Qin Dynasty in North Jersey, I was willing to make the trek - especially since I had a dim sum craving one weekend. We got there at around 11 on a Saturday. It was crowded but not packed yet. We were seated right away (your whole party needs to be there). There are so many options for dim sum - some that you don't even typically see in Brooklyn/Chinatown. For example, I saw some lobster tails, and a giant cheesy oyster that looked really good but I'm sure they were $$$. We stuck to the dim sum basics - ha gao, shumai, beef churng fun, chicken feet, chicken sticky rice, steamed cha siu baos, and tofu pudding. I don't have any complaints about the dim sum. All were good and some were even better than ones in NYC. And let me tell you - they do not skimp on the meat here. The ha gaos and shumais were so plump! Since it's a rarity that we get to have authentic Chinese food, we also ordered the salted fish and diced chicken fried rice, and the pan-fried noodles with beef. Both were good and had lots of meat. Service was surprisingly attentive - unlike in NYC where it takes forever to flag down a waiter. Our waiter was always nearby and seemed happy to help with our requests of water, chili oil, etc. I think we might have found our go-to Cantonese restaurant. It's just a shame it isn't closer to home.

Food was tasty, authentic and what we were really looking for. The spot is tiny but we got there early enough to secure a table. Everything was delicious! The only thing that need improvement is the cutlery and the serving dishes. Maybe have metal forks for people who can't use chopsticks? Overall, solid food. Solid place. I felt kind of bad that they were so busy they had to turn some tables away. They def need a waitlist system. Will be back soon!

A dim sum place in Bethlehem PA? Yes, and probably the only one afaik…read more I was up here visiting friends and they took me to try this newer place. It's small and probably less than 14 ppl can dine here at one time. Also, dim sum is ordered on a small menu. But what I had was authentic and very tasty! I had roast pork buns, corn and chicken dumplings, pork steamed rice roll, and beef noodle soup. The first three were excellent, while the beef noodle soup was unfortunately just average. The main problem with the soup was the broth was too watery imho and the noodles were too firm and tasted like instant noodles. The beef was tender and good at least. My friend had the pork soup dumplings and said they were good. I'll try those next time. She also had the shrimp wonton noodle soup and that also looked good. I tried the bok choy in the soup and the bok choy was terrific. Overall, this place is pretty legit when it comes to the dim sum, but the beef noodle soup can be skipped. But hopefully they'll improve that part. The soup is the only reason I can't give 5 stars. But it's a strong 4 to 4.5 stars at least.

Though small inside, loved eating outdoors at the restaurant, also delivery carried well. Don't love that they ask for a tip on top of a moderately pricey counter service type place Soy Garlic Tenders The chicken was crunchy, crispy & juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was good. For me, not quite on the level of bb.q Korean fried chicken. Still a good option for the area. Pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup Warmed my soul. It was perfect, the broth flavored and simple. The Ramen noodles added great texture. The dumplings were delicious and large bites. Pro tip, get a side of dumpling sauce to dip the dumplings in. The Chinese Broccoli in the dish had a delicious flavor all to itself. I'm not sure how they did it (because it was in the broth like everything else) but it was unique and special when eating the bok choi Pan Fried Pork Buns (Bao Buns) They were next level and a must get everytime. I'm not sure how else to describe them except delicious Original Chicken Sandwhich Good but not a must get for me. Good cook on the chicken and the bun seemed special but the flavors didn't really pack a punch.
