I can't even remember the last time I left a one star review. This place is TERRIBLE- service awful. Waitstaff is probably the worst ever you can get better service at McDonald's. No less than 5 servers asked for my order - I only ordered one drink and an appetizer to go. Both screwed up after patiently waiting 29-39 minutes on a Wednesday evening. Seriously the Manager came over to assist. And then disappeared- all I requested was 1 cold beer and take out order. Never got the beer - food order was delivered on plate - not take out. Don't ever eat here unless you want to be seriously displaced/ disappointed/ and hungry and thirsty. Lots of wait staff who clearly don't communicate with each other. read more

I really want to give this a better rating. The margaritas are awesome, guacamole superb. Wings were dry and over cooked and had a weird aftertaste like they'd been in the freezer too long, but the quesadilla was delicious... service? Eh.The waitress dropped our food and disappeared for 25 minutes, I found her at the bar shooting the shit with the host. I asked for another round and the check which came promptly, but it was crickets for another 20 minutes while we waited to pay. Maybe management gives them a hard time if food gets sent back, and maybe she was the only waitress on a weekday afternoon but my advice would be drinks and apps at the bar. read more

Great food , excellent drinks and nice employees. No sour mix used in there margaritas.

Ordered mexican street corn served cold. Server not around. Dinner had to be remade due to language barriers. Horrendous service

A very nice place. The staff was very nice and professional. The food was plentiful and great flavor. read more

Torito Mexican Restaurant - The fajitas quesadillas was really good. - Mexican Near Me - Danvers, Massachusetts

For a new restaurant this place was very well run. The food was delicious. The Margaritas were big but not heavy on the alcohol. The presentation of all food was incredible. We would definitely return read more

The quality of food, good demeanor of the staff and the fact you get a crazy portion makes this spot worth a try! Everyone couldn't have been nicer and our experience was amazing. They offered more than your typical "American" idea of Mexican food. If you have the chance ask for Mandy as a waitress she was so nice and helpful. read more

Food is awesome! But our bartender, Melody was outstanding! We haven't been at that location since it was Chili's & it it such a wonderful difference. She walked us through the drink menu and then the food menu... SO MUCH BETTER than a chain restaurant. The whole experience was great! Thank you all! read more

We've been to Torito twice, once last week and again today, and both times were great. As soon as we sat down, they brought us complimentary chips, salsa, ceviche, and a refried bean dip. Both times I got the vegetarian Expresso Burrito, and it was just as good as it looked (the plate is about a foot long, check out the photo). My wife had the tortilla soup and really enjoyed it. Service was awesome on each visit. Our servers (Delsy the first time, Sandra and Demas today) were super friendly and attentive. Today was a busy Sunday evening, but we got seated right away. Since I'm vegetarian, the manager, Demas, personally made sure my burrito was made without meat or cheese, and swapped in nopal (delicious strips of cactus) instead. Our meals still came out in under 10 minutes. During dinner Demas or Sandra stopped by regularly to ask how everything was and if we wanted anything. The place and people are warm and welcoming, the service is fast and efficient, and the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back. read more

So far so good!!! Since it opened I've been here 3 time that says a lot cause if the food is good I usually come back. Portions size is huge enough to share and forget about the large MARGARITAS DRINK!!! largest I've ever seen and really well made. Nice staff and really friendly so with that said cant wait to go back.. read more

Although they use salt to the excess. Food was very good. Our server was excellent. The manager visited our table to see if we were happy. What's not to love, we will return. read more

Torn on writing this review as our waiter was very nice and the band was so fun. My husbands 50th and he wanted Mexican so we decided on this place for close proximity. We were greeted and seated quickly and had the band at our table within mins made kids happy and hubby laugh. It was 7pm on a Sunday. We ordered two kids meals and 3 adult burritos and tacos. We waited an hour and 20 min for food delivery and order was incorrect :( we paid we tipped and tipped band and left no way we could wait any longer for food with kids. Unfortunate a bad ending to the birthday dinner and even worst to waste all the food :(. Kids meal was super spicy, no cheese on tacos or burrito and onions when we asked for none. Overall tough dinner and hungry family when leaving after 130$ yes we could have asked for a manager but my hubby is to embarrassed to take that route. The waiter knew we were not pleased and didn't do anything :( potential of trying again in future but sure hubby with not accompany. read more

Wow this place should not have good reviews for the food, it's just mediocre. The al pastor tacos were bland and needed seasoning, the shredded beef chimichanga was ok but the cheese sauce was not good. The orchata was way too sweet but otherwise tasted good. The service is a slow as well. read more

Went to Torito for second time tonight. The staff is extremely friendly pleasant and professional. I never waited for any of my requests to be fulfilled. The menu is enormous with a vast selection of Mexican foods. The size of the meals is gigantic. My fajita tonight could have easily fed two or three people. Lastly the quality of the food is top notch. So what more could you ask for, quality quantity and a friendly at home atmosphere read more

Got a burrito here.. salted to an extreme. I believe it to be the most sodium I've ever had in a dish. I tend to enjoy salty foods, but this was way too much. Nearly inedible. Service was great though. read more

Went here Friday night around 7:00 pm with the family. Promptly seated. Babies everywhere. Was it baby night? Lots of crying babies. Applaud the family atmosphere but the baby next to us cried in a car seat for at least 30 minutes. Server was attentive, brought drinks, free salsa and chips immediately. Salsa and chips were yummy. 32 oz house margarita with salt, not sure it had any tequila in it . Couldn't taste the tequila and it smelled like mix minus tequila. Didn't order apps. DH loved his beef chimichangas. The rest of us all ordered the chicken fajitas. Very large portions of fajitas and flour tortillas were great. The fajitas could have used more seasoning. Rice and refried beans were unflavorful, incredibly bland. Could have used more salsa/cheese/guacamole for my fajitas. Also, where is the hot sauce ? Not on the table, you'll need to wait a little longer to eat because that's a request for when the server passes by. DH will come again with friends but I will pass. It was ok, not bad, but not amazing. There are other alternatives in the area. read more

Do yourself a huge favor and go 10 min down the highway to Amigos attached to the north shore mall.... My margarita was AWFUL tasted like soda water... my food was even worse. Do not recommend! read more

Unfortunately what could have been a good experience, was soured by poor service and a rude server.

Stopped in for lunch, Not overly impressed... Restaurant at 1:00PM basically empty... Prices were very expensive for lunch... Service from Erandy was just fair. Definitely would not return. read more

Have been here a hand full of times. Food is standard fair and service was always excellent. Last night we went in at 5 and there were only 4 tables taken. Five minutes after sitting down we were served with the usual Chips and salsa. Over the next 10 minutes a few servers walked past us. Twenty minutes later there were still only 4 other tables taken and 6 servers were having a heck of a time laughing and talking at the register. So we just got up and left. A half hour with no service is unacceptable. read more

The food and service was good. The ambiance is okay. The complimentary chips and bean dip/salsa is very nice, I had the shrimp and bacon tacos, which were good. However, this was the second time here with my wife and the margaritas were bad both times. The drinks are very large - even the medium size. I recalled getting the large margarita the first time we came here and not finishing it (and that almost never happens) because it did not taste good, but figured that might have been a one off. Last night my wife ordered a medium margarita with Mezcal, and I ordered a medium Ultimate margarita with Resposado, and they both tasted bad. I don't mind a strong drink, but I could not really taste the tequilla, Instead, it tasted more like grain alcohol with very little margarita flavor. My wife drank less than half of hers and was pretty drunk (she is a bit of a lightweight but not that bad). I finished my medium, and I finished the rest of hers but my stomach didn't fell great after that. I'd stick with water here. read more

We recently moved to the area and decided on a whim to stop by for lunch last Sunday after driving by it a few times. We are so happy we did - it was a cool vibe, awesome service, giant margaritas and great food! I ordered the California skinny margarita which was amazing and ended up making my 2nd one a large size which really was huge but so good. We loved the chips and salsa and refried bean dip that comes with it. As for our meals, I got the shrimp fajitas while my husband got tacos and we both loved it. We'll definitely return! read more

I have been here 3 times ( twice in one week), first time was with my wife & son, 2nd time with my buddy Dave & the next night I returned with my wife again!, Restaurant has a fun atmosphere, very colorful décor, food & service is very good too. Each time I ordered off " Specials " section of their huge menu, first time I got Dos Compadres ( skirt steak & pork loin), 2nd time was Birria Borrego ( lamb shank) and then Cazuela ( mixed grilled seafood). Must say all were good but I'd say I enjoyed the lamb shank the most, meat was tender & fell right off the bone , pepper sauce was very good & not spicy, was disappointed with the Cazuela , it was supposed to have cod, but I didn't get any or it was very little if I did, mussels, crab& clams were fine but for $29.99 I wouldn't order it again. Drinks are huge & very good , I would suggest sticking with traditional Mexican fare like fajitas, tacos or burritos. Had Juan as my server twice & he is very nice & made us feel very welcome. So overall a good place for Mexican food & drinks! read more

Such an awesome place! Love the decor. Huge booths, bright colors, dark wood. The hostess and servers are super cool and inviting. Arturo is the best. Such a good guy and server. usually I have a pleasant experience here, but this time we had some issues. our appetizer came out with our entrees. my boyfriend's steak was mainly all fat and the street corn we received looked and tasted horrible. when asked if they would take it off the bill they said no. hoping the service turns around for the better here. read more

Food was good .. poor costumer service. On the menu Says free refills but never got one. when i did request the check i know is a courtesy to leave the tip for the server but I guess it's odd when the the server is asking for the tip.. she gave the check and said "" tip is not included "" so my friend saw me like wth.. Torito Mexican Restaurant - Chips with refried beans and feta cheese - Mexican Near Me - Danvers, Massachusetts

The food was incredible!! I ordered take out from here and it was amazing! The atmosphere inside was so upbeat and alive, the music was festive and they even had a Valentine's Day ballon arch when you walk through the front door, plus they have a separate area for to go orders which is nice if you are trying to avoid a crowd. The manager and staff were very friendly! The burritos we ordered were a huge size, and they had so much flavor!! The tacos and queso dip were amazing as well. I highly recommend this place!! I will definitely be going back and dining inside next time to enjoy their great food and one of their margaritas!! read more

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! Well all I can say is shame on me for trying this place twice. The first time was bad but this time was worse. Torito's guacamole is bland and tasteless. It's almost like they used unripened avocados. The steak in the quesadilla is chewy as hell and also tasteless. My wife thought her chicken lacked seasoning too. Isn't Mexican food known to be flavorful. Someone should let them in on the secret. I think the fruit flies that are all over this place would taste better than the garbage they serve. Speaking of service, this place lacks good service. We sat down and the server came over and before even getting us drinks, she asked what we wanted for appetizers and dinner? At least they are consistent! Two times here and both times bad servers and bad food. If that's not consistent then I don't know what else is! Never again! read more

Food is Fresh and Delicious ...Portion size was huge..There drink menu is big and margaritas are awesome!!!

Typical New England Mexican restaurant, good but not great. I say that having spent lots of time in San Diego and Texas. The exception being the sauce for the fish tacos, it's outstanding, creamy lime avocado taste. The fish inside not so much, very small and a was breaded, it reminded me of a fish stick. The three way combo, cheese enchilada good, tamale way to much corn breading and skimpy on the pork inside, not a fan. Beef burrito just ok. Red sauce on them had a nice tomatoey flavor. Chips very good, salsa nice but a bit too much cumin for my liking. Lighting way too bright in the bar area, table lighting bearable if you don't look up. They really should lower the luminance overall, its a restaurant not a food court. read more
