The vodka drink is good, you can taste the vodka and strawberry, it's almost like a strawberry purée. It was a neat experience to see the "fake blood" go into the glass to drink I'm a tequila person but this was good. If only they had a margarita in bag like this, it would be good too. The food. I love taco salad, and this was pretty good. It's a big size portion too. My husband got one of the burritos which was huge but he said the taste didn't really taste like a burrito. He could taste the green sauce more than the meat and other things in it. I liked it but it definitely tasted more of the texmex side of things. Still would recommend this place!!! Will be back.

Indoor and outdoor space is plenty and the service team is well equipped to handle the masses. We got there right in the middle of the mess and we're seated promptly. Tables cleared and they cleaned them asap to help with the rush. Love the fact that they were prepared for the mess that Salem turns when in Which season. 5 of us and food came out pretty fast too. The menu is not huge, its the same basic ingredients reused for different items. I had the steak tips with Mexican rice and beans, guacamole and a bit of lettuce. It was great. Ps add a bit of Howling sause but its not hot, well i like hot. The other adults plates were also good but with the caveat below. Its not real Mexican, its americanized Mexican.. Not Chipotle nor taco bell but you can tell as they use flour tortillas instead of corn. I know, i go to mex restaurants every Tuesday and can tell when its legit vs just good food. Honestly, I wasn't even hungry, mostly thanks to a stressful day at work. But I'm really glad I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the grilled carnitas burrito, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious. From the first bite to the last, every layer of flavor came through--tender, flavorful pork, fresh toppings, and perfectly balanced seasoning. It was one of those meals where you keep eating not out of hunger, but because it's just that good. And yes, despite not feeling hungry at all, I ate the whole thing. I'll definitely be heading back soon. This place is worth rediscovering.

When it comes to Grilled Fish Tacos, I am beyond anal with my expecations of what I expect to receive, for most places will serve the dish over cooked and beyond dried out. That is not at all the case at Casa Tequila! After at least 5 to 6 visits in the past year, and ordering the same dish each time, and I can truly confirm that this place is consistant, with their quality ingredients and overall passion for their menu. The service has always been a pleasurable experience and feels very much like everyone who works there is family. We love eating here, especially on their patio in the Summer months and look forward to our next visit as soon as we pay our bill for the meal we just so very much enjoyed.

Dinner was served buffet style, but we started with the always-addicting chips & dips: salsa, guacamole and cheese dip. The taco bar buffet was perfect and had the usual options: chicken, steak, pork, hard & soft shells, refried beans, rice, etc. My husband and I both raved about how good the hot sauce is. It was just hot enough without being overwhelming. I would definitely frequent this restaurant if I lived in the area!

Convenient order ahead option with Apple Pay is a plus, and I dig the location. Had a steak/chorizo burrito with the standard fixings, which was delicious, could use a little more sour cream but nothing worth complaining about, as all the flavor is there. Probably my favorite north shore burrito joint. Highly recommend. And the Jamaica is the best!

I understand that the cost of everything has Prices!gone up, and businesses need to adjust their…read moreprices. But raising prices while cutting portions and skimping on ingredients is not the way to treat your customers. I used to love this restaurant, but after not ordering for a few months, I came back and was shocked by the decline. The kids' burrito is noticeably smaller and costs a dollar more, with barely any meat, rice, or beans. They even forgot the cheese and tomatoes! The birria tacos barely have any meat, and the tortillas are smaller. The taco bowl is suffering as well. What a disappointment. I understand inflation, but customers should still receive a decent portion and the ingredients they are paying for. If prices need to go up, so be it, but don't cut corners to the point where people feel cheated. Customers notice when portions shrink, ingredients disappear, and prices keep climbing. It's frustrating because I genuinely loved this restaurant and enjoyed the food. One of the main reasons was that my family was able to enjoy a decent amount of food. That's what makes this experience even worse. Instead of feeling excited to order again, I feel ripped off.

I ordered a margarita which was good, and the blackened cod bowl with cilantro lime rice. The cod was not blackened, it looked like it may have been baked the day before with some seasonings on it and then refrigerated. It came out cold, as did the rice. There was nothing pleasant about the meal. I can not recommend.

The chips and guac were solid, but the ceviche was iffy - it was served dry on a piece of lettuce, most pieces were very chewy and we were worried about getting sick, I'd skip it. I had the fried fish tacos for my main and was disappointed - very little fish, too much batter, and thick and not very flavorful tortillas. I could be spoiled after years of west coast Mexican and a lot of time in Baja and Oaxaca, but nothing hit for me other than the guac. Service was good and the space is large and clean, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

I'm honestly surprised by all the good reviews, do y'all not have tastebuds?…read more I love tacos. Love is an understatement. This was so off putting I refused to finish a taco out of my 3 taco meal. Played it safe, got the ground beef. The taco was greasy despite having the double tortilla layer which it had soaked through. The taco meat was very bland and there was a funky sweet taste to it, maybe because of the chipotle aioli? No cheese. No hot sauce. Between the texture and the taste, there was no way I was able to get past a couple bites. I thought the chips and salsa would be my saving grace, however there was zero salt on the chips and the salsa was just their pico de gallo. The pico was super watery and tasted like bland tomato water. No salt or flavor in there either. In addition, you can get a pretty good idea about a place's cleanliness based off what you can see going on in the kitchen. The cook was wearing gloves while scrolling on his/a phone and didn't change those gloves to make our food. Additionally, he went to the restroom with the gloves on and while he wasn't wearing by them when he came out, but it wasn't long enough thoroughly wash your hands. The staff were sitting on the stainless steel counters where meal prep is done. Just not a place I feel comfortable eating.
