    The mango margarita was good!!

Large place, nice outdoor patio. Came here because the place I wanted to go had no seating, and we'd been walking all day. I wanted to sit and relax. The drinks were good, the food wasn't the greatest. My garlic shrimp nachos were swimming in grease and I'm still not sure why it's called a nacho? There was chips, cheese, garlic sauce & shrimp. 4 ingredients. No lettuce, sour cream, onions, guac, pico, jalapeño, beans or anything else you'd think might be 'nacho' My friends were definitely not impressed the tacos - no seasoning on the beef ? What? We did have a local tell us it isn't their favorite, but we had to give it a shot.

We visited Salem in October and as we drove by, I gotta admit, the tequila caught my eye. After our tour, we had to grab a bite. The restaurant was huge inside and we must have hit it at a good time, because it wasn't busy at all. I opted for the grapefruit margarita...grapefruit drinks are my jam. It was delicious, not too sweet. I saw my go-to dish on the menu, chile verde, and I couldn't resist. It was well prepared, delicious flavor, good portions. Other dishes ordered in our party were on the saltier side. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal. I would recommend stopping in.

I really enjoyed this place! We came here spur of the moment after realizing bamboleo wasn't a full menu anymore. I got the burrito wrap which was amazing. I didn't get a picture of the inside but it had everything! Guacamole, meat, pico de Gallo, cheese, you name it! It was seriously amazing. My husband got the pina loca which came served on a pineapple which was so cute! It had a special sauce that he left no droppings of! And there was plenty of meat and vegetables on top. I tried a bit and it was really great! We also had salsa and Queso to start with chips which were both great! The salsa was refreshing and so tasty! The queso was also really enjoyable! Beans were also sooo yummy! We don't drink anymore so can't comment on that but I will say they looked very cute and yummy when we looked around!

The restaurant doesn't look like much but it's actually quite massive on the inside! We went pretty early for lunch so we didn't see much people initially however it got pretty packed later in the day - even with a line forming outside! The staff is nice and really hard working. That being said, they tried their best with the long lines of people forming (during Halloween season of course) but the service to get our checks took a good amount of time. Getting the food, chips, and drinks was very fast though! Food wasn't incredible but was enough to satiate me during holiday travels. Not a bad restaurant pick - though there will probably be many other options with the touristy town

We only had drinks -- horrible. I appreciate our server as she tried to remake it twice but sadly it was just repeatedly warm and so watered down. We asked for salt rims on shots and got sugar rims instead--nasty. Wouldn't recommend for drinks but maybe the food is better, wouldn't know because we didn't try it.

    Diablo margarita FTW!

Great atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating. Food was decent, not writing home to abuela about but the margaritas, I will say were very nice. I had the Diablo margarita and I enjoyed the spiciness of it. The wife and I split the steak burrito. The steak was cooked well but was unfortunately lacking flavor. The rice and beans were good. I will say, the service was above par. Super friendly, helpful and very attentive. The location is good if you're walking around Salem.

Great food! Authentic, hot and flavorful. The carnitas that top the cheese enchiladas, wow chefs kiss, they were delicious. Really felt like moms cooking.

The Halloween weekend seems to be tough for any restaurant and Casa Tequila is no exception. Even though the restaurant has different levels of seating, it is very much short of staff. The wait to enter was for 15 mins. We sat in and ordered our drink. Our server served us two rounds of nachos. Our drinks came after we finished the nachos. We ordered different margaritas and the server didn't ask if we need salting or not. So obviously my drink came without any salting. And the server had no time either to change my drink, or to even listen to the orders twice. Anyway they were too late to even give us drink that too without salting on the margarita. My wife sensing my frustration asked for some salt on the side. The server came back with it. That was just the first hour We had a lot to order. The food reached after 1.5 hours. Seems like years if you are hungry. They had huge portions. Food wasn't bad. The fajitas got stuck to the skillet and the skillet wasn't properly greased. The drinks were okayish. Overall we had a good time since we had a nice corner table outside, but it was mostly for the companies that we had and not so much credit goes to the restaurant. In between a different server came over and took some of our drinks order. Casa Tequila won't have been our first preference, seems to be the same for everyone else. They are heavily understaffed.

We stopped in here for a rest, some margaritas, and bean dip to tie us over until dinner. We were in and out within 45 minutes so everything came very quickly. I asked for my margarita to be spicy and they did a great job with making it the perfect mix. The bean dip was delicious as well however the chips did taste a little stale.

Very good please. We were a large party of 13 and all our drink order and food order were accurate. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had a little wait since we were a large party but over all it was a good Mexican restaurant.

Thought you could possibly mess up Mexican, boy was I wrong!!! Best part of the chicken fajita nachos were the onions. The melted america sliced cheese left a lot to be desired. Only bright dpot $14 margarita left a nice impression... aka, friend has a nice buzz. Won't come here again.

This place had 3 floors and outdoor dining! I just thought that was so cool. Anyways, I never have Mexican food so I took soooo long on the menu but the waiter helped me pick and I got the Shrimp Quesadilla. I loved it! The shrimp was really flavorful and the guacamole was super good but I never eat guacamole so I don't really know how to tell good guac from bad guac, but it was tasty! They also gave our table some corn chips to start off with for free with some really yummy salsa. The staff was so nice too!

Had the Ceviche De Camaro, Burrito Festa, pollo vaqueros. All 3 of my diners I had with my tonight would definitely recommend this place.

After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting with no service, we were about to leave when a server finally came to our table. Since they were obviously busy and weren't keeping up with the crowd that night, we tried to order two drinks each so they could save a little of their time and we could relax without worrying about if a server was going to take our order again before the end of the week. The server very sharply said that he was NOT going to give us two drinks at a time, CERTAINLY not with drinks of this high alcohol content. We ordered one drink each, cashed out and bounced. The cocktail I got was fine; I could make a slightly worse version at home at a fraction of the price (or even two at once!). We we were told later by a friendlier Salemite at a bar with a better vibe that there is a Massachusetts state law that prohibits having two drinks at once at a bar. Fair enough. Had our server told us that, unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to give us two drinks at once -- instead of making us feel like idiots/degenerates for daring to ask -- we probably would have dropped a lot of vacation money there that night. Oh well; we had a great time at the other places we went.
