The food is so so they don't have a lot of options for the tacos, and well just the everything else I have tried or eat here haven't impressed me. The service is pretty good

So the story behind this... My sister and I spent a duration of our recent trip in Cali on a food venture. We were on a hunt to locate all the hidden gems in the bay area, cause a vacation entails in food comas! Surprisingly, we discovered some really fantastic Mexican restaurants and ever since, our new found love for tacos was created. Here, we wanted to stay local but really came based on great reviews. Street parking only, although I'm not quite certain what time the meter ends here. I do like the fact they offer wait service here. Pretty convenient, and the staff themselves are friendly. Inside, it appeared well maintained. I did take notice how prompt they were at cleaning each table as each patrons left. So I had to take a few stars off based on the overall food experience. We ordered about half a dozen tacos but could not get the protein we wanted. Pretty annoyed how they were all out of steak and pork. I don't generally get chicken tacos but was forced to. Not enthused with the lack of options and not to my surprise, the chicken was too basic for my palette. The chicken quesadilla also did not have a wow factor either. I still want to give the steak taco a chance, but maybe I'll order it to go on the next visit.

This was the most delicious monstrosity of a sandwich I've ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed every gluttonous bite

An unwarranted "aha" moment. I've had them before, traveling all the way to Kansas City and Texas for barbecue, or to New Orleans for the most incredible po-boys. But who knew, that to experience tacos and finally understand why people go so ape-shit over them, one only need head to the pinnacle, the jewel of ethnic food communities: Lynn, Massachusetts. Mexico Lindo is just another tiny restaurant, next to an unassuming bakery storefront boasting delicious Guatemalan delicacies. There are a few celebratory sombreros, and various Jesus and Mary posters hung on the restaurant walls. There's a counter, and a few tables... and your host is the most courteous, gracious "G" that I've ever had the honor of receiving sustenance from. We took a table near the window, and after perusing the menu, both ordered a plate of three tacos with re-fried beans and rice. My bigger half chose the al pastor, chorizo, and tripe. I also went for the al pastor and tripe, but at the last possible moment noticed a specials board featuring "tacos de cabeza." Switch hitter for the chorizo, yo quiero un taco de cabeza, por favor, Senior "G", eres muy guapo, muy guapo. Smile smile. A few moments after ordering, our host emerged from the kitchen with homemade tortilla chips, and two delicious salsas. The first was a fiery-red red tomato based salsa. A little heat, but the good kind, which has a soft kick at first, and grows into a lingering burn. The second was a tangy tomatillo sauce: vinegary and sweet with bits of onion and cilantro: truly a joy. After munching happily on our little complimentary appetizer, our food arrived. The corn tortillas were clearly homemade with a lovely warmed char. The al pastor was among the best I've ever had. Pork with rich spices, and a nice spin on the plancha, also had a subtle sweetness. The tripa taco was delicious. It was much different than the more expensive tacos I've had at La Verdad at Fenway. This taco, I suspect, was constructed of properly cleaned pork chitterlings, soaked in a sauce, and again, given a spin on the plancha. They were delicious: chewy and savory. My husband's chorizo was overflowing and delicious, but my star switch hitter, la taco de cabeza, my friends, this is not to be missed if you too are so lucky to take a good look at the specials board near the back of the restaurant. Grissel and fat mixed with the right amount of slow-cooked, tender meat extracted from the head of a valiant bovine. Wax poetic? It was a fucking art, and you best order it, or ELSE. (Really... you might like it... it's really really good, folks.) By the way, the re-fried beans were solid, and the rice was the first time that I've elected to finish my entire plate... this is not your Tex-Mex restaurant, Uncle Ben's throwaway rice. I enjoyed the tacos, the service, and the salsa at Mexico Lindo far more than any other Mexican food that I've had anywhere. They were cheap (our whole meal with a couple drinks totaled at about twenty dollars), and they left me craving more, and confused at why I could have ever judged Mexican food so poorly. I implore you to take a trip to Lynn, and really taste tacos that someone put some serious care into.

Food was undercooked, smothered in fake cheese. The customer service was terrible, everyone we encountered was rude and pushy.

    Do they serve alchol?

They have a couple different beers, but I don't think they have wine and definitely don't have hard alcohol!

By this time, it was close to 9pm and most Latino food spots were closing soon. Took it to Yelp and found this place! I called to check if they accepted debit with my broken Spanish lol....and they do! Asked if they had burritos al pastor and another "yes!" So that was our cue to give this place a shot! It's a small place, but packs a lot of punch and flavor in their food AND freshly made horchata because they ran out! Omg......you HAVE TO GET THE HORCHATA!!! I love cinnamon and spiced drinks, so this definitely hit the spot!! I ordered 3 tacos de lengua con arroz y frijoles.....man o man!!! DELICIOUS!!! The rice and beans had so much flavor....tacos had a fresh clean taste...definitely on hit! My boyfriend's burrito al pastor was amazing!!
