Rice, beans, chicken flauta - A plate featuring Mexican cuisine includes seasoned rice, refried beans, and a chicken flauta, served on a white dish.

We came here a few weeks ago because we are still in search of some excellent fajitas and my husband hadn't been here in years. It's a very small restaurant, but they do have tables. Very busy with takeout! It is BYOB. I got the chicken flautas and they were good, if a little thicker than I'm used to. The chicken was very tender. My husband got the steak and chicken fajitas. He was not asked how he wanted the steak cooked so we were interested in how it came out. He said although the meat was flavorful and tender, he wished it came in long strips. The rice was delicious. We got the mild and spicy salsa and my husband said the spicy salsa was the best salsa he's every add. I was also very happy with how fresh and flavorful the guacamole was! Really nice local place that we will definitely come back to!

I will admit that this place doesn't look like much when you walk in, but the food was bomb! My friends and I arrived around 6pm on a weekday and we were the only ones there. We got free chips and salsa (we ask for refills twice), which was amazing because we were STARVING! I got the steak fajita and we got a pitcher of the Betty Boop margarita to share. The steak fajita was DELICIOUS - the steak was so tender and flavorful, and the veggies were very well seasoned! The portion was humongous - I definitely ate faster than my stomach could process since everything tasted so good! The Betty Boop was STRONG, but tasted great. Overall, I had a great experience! I'll be sure to come by next time I'm in the area.

Quality mexican food, chips and salsa are great too. Fish tacos were decent, other tacos really good.

Food is delicious! A small little place with great authentic Mexican food! I highly recommend! The only disappointment was that they didn't serve margaritas! Be sure to check them out!

Deep fried carnitas bowl deluxe - A foam takeout container holds a deep-fried carnitas bowl with sauce, melted cheese, and chopped vegetables, typical of Mexican cuisine.

Don't get your burrito bowl "deluxe" style, or it will come in what seems like an entire can of enchilada sauce. Extremely soupy. I could not eat it. It was not supposed to come with beans or sour cream, but it came with both in it. The pork was not what I expected for carnitas, it was in chunks similar looking to steak, not pulled.

I've been to three amigos a few times and I'll definitely come back again. They aren't usually too busy when I go (weekdays) so I've never had to wait. I've tried their tacos which comes with rice and beans. The rice and beans are cooked very nicely and definitely adds to the dish really well. Their fish tacos are super big portions and definitely fills you up. They give you a lot of fish which is fried very nicely. I've also had their truffle fries which are a decent portion with a nice ruffle aroma, crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Their chrome ceviche is fresh and comes with a side of crackers. Their quesadilla is filled with meat and cheese and the meat is very tender. They definitely have good food and not to mention they give you free chips and salsa!! Would definitely recommend this place!

Tostada - A salad with lettuce, shredded cheese, tomatoes, and mushrooms is served on a white plate on a wooden table.

BLUF: 0/5. I may return to try other menu items but not exactly thrilled. FOOD: 1/5 Disclaimer: I moved from California where diverse and authentic food are plentiful. But this so off the mark as a claimed "authentic" Mexican restaurant I cannot give it more than 1. I ordered a Tostada and Shredded Beed Burrito. With tip and tax, total was 22.45 Ingredients and taste were basic. No Mexican spices or flavoring. It was truly disappointing. Was that shredded KRAFT three mexican cheese?? The Chips and salsa were on the house. Disappointing as well. Chips were stale and salsa tasted overwhelmingly of tomato sauce, with a very bland flavor. The spicy salsa they offer is more like a MILD salsa you might find at a grocery store but even then that might be spicier AND taste better. Portions were good so if you're looking for something filling this your spot. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Probably the most authentic thing here. CLEANLINESS: 5/5 SERVICE: 3/5 Food took longer than I would have expected for the dishes ordered. No utensils or napkins initially provided. No water provided and I never asked. Just realized that while writing this review.

The best authentic Mexican restaurant. Reasonably priced. Their chips and salsa are my favorite!

Yummy in my tummy. The chips here are free refill?! Like what. And the tacos were inexpensive and delicious so it's definitely a w.

A lot of places double up on the tortillas for this reason, but no need here. We ordered the birria, carnitas, and cabeza tacos, chicken sopes, beans, rice, sweet plantains, sweet rice pudding and horchata. Standouts were the carnitas and cabeza for me - very delicious in their simplicity, the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Birria was also very good but overhyped IMO (novelty factor). The chicken sopes were way bigger than expected, could easily be a meal on its own and the masa tart was pretty good. Our table liked the green sauce to add zip to the food. It was very sunny when we went, so it was blinding and hot to be sitting inside, hope they install a shade at some point. They seem to only serve in takeout containers, so eating at a table requires getting a bit creative for a "plate" etc. There's a small lot behind the building and street parking is pretty easy. I will definitely be returning to try the lengua and more things next time!

We got the carne asade and chicken taco especial, the hibiscus tea, and churros! The tacos were delish! I usually opt for flour tortillas, however they make their corn tortillas and they are the soft ones, so I wanted to try it as it comes - I was not disappointed! The tacos come in 4 to a meal, so we so split two and two. Naturally, I prefer steak but both the chicken and steak were phenomenal. Lots of flavor!! The taco especial, has onions and cilantro and a nice lime squeeze on the side that is a nice flavor burst and addition. If you want the lettuce, cheese, tomato, etc. then you want the americano version. The tacos come with two sauces, both of which were spicy but you can tell were made/fresh! But that hibiscus tea - wow!! So delish! It was sweet and flavorful and a sip of freshness!! The churros were also incredible. Not that I didn't think I'd like the dulce de leche filling but it was um-yes yum! The outside was nice and crispy obv coated in cinnamon and sugar and then the inside was soft and doughy but not raw dough, just perfection. The dipping sauce was excellent too - they could provide a little bit more of it but we made it work. Anyways, highly recommend. It's fresh and authentic- clearly homemade with good ingredients!! Can't wait to try more from the menu!
