Wanted to like this place, ended up walking out. Put in our order - quesadilla, fajitas, two sides of street corn. The first dish that arrived was... none of those things. Quesadilla arrived, not fully heated through. Fajitas showed up a while later and looked pretty good, but the waiter did not bring tortillas. Come to find out you have to order them as an extra item, which seems very odd. We waited almost 10 minutes, while the waitress served other tables and the fajitas went cold. No sign of the tortillas or of the street corn at any point. I opted to walk up front for the check, and the waitress seemed caught off guard that we were not happy. I will give them credit that they did take the fajitas off the bill, as I did not want to pay for food we could not eat. Again, no sign of the street corn at any point on the bill. The ambience is nice. The seating along the wall is comfortable and the pillows a nice touch. Colorful walls add the fun. Service is good. The nice part about the taco bowl was the fresh radishes and cucumbers especially as it added some moisture. It sounded healthy. Woburn, rejoice! Beyond the global chains, we have lacked that key quick serve location doing Mexican the real way. But our belly-prayers have been answered, Dora Taqueria steps into the space we so desparately needed. A vibrant little space welcomes you, along with the skulls from Día de los Muertos, which actually scared my three year old when we walked in. The worker we had struggled a bit to take our order, she apologized for it being her second day....typical for spots that have just opened. A $40 order later, we had quesadillas, tacos and a torta. Nice touch that they have high chairs available (are these required in restaurants via regulations? I seriously don't know), and the square tops were abundant with wood chairs. The sunlight beams in from Woburn Center so it's nice and bright inside. My favorite was the carnitas torta, a bit spicy and just overflowing with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and the smokiness of the sauce. Some of the areas that could use improvement. One, the size of the horchata is too small for a $4 drink. I hate to compare it to Anna's but there's is almost double the size and even costs less. Plus it was very thin, this could be the style here and I don't blame them for it....but the flavor profile was a bit lacking. Two, the carnitas taco I got had way too much liquid in it, wherever it was coming from, it was definitely ruining the corn tortilla. I don't know if you can drain the meat a bit more or if this is standard but I just wish it wasn't swimming in it. Those issues were very minor, I want everyone going back here again and again to get as much authentic quick Mexican as you can devour. Very mid. Quesadilla all cheese barely any meat. Anything birria is more expensive than other meats (understandable I guess) but no caldo (birria broth) provided, it was just dumped on to my order which got soggy really quickly. Not crispy at all. Ordered a shrimp burrito with guacamole. I am not sure what happened/if this was an off night (clearly per the many great reviews this place should be amazing!), but the burrito was simply terrible. On top of it being dry with almost no flavor, the rice was crunchy in places and stuck in lumps. The black beans tasted like they had been refrigerated for a few days. The salsa (pico) was just funky. The most impressive to me was that the guac had no taste - no lime, no cilantro, no salt. The shrimp itself was good! Again, I am not sure if this was an off night, or if someone dumped old ingredients on top of the trays and they just happened to make it into my burrito, but it was not good. Food was good, typical burrito shop that if your in the mood for wouldn't disappoint. A+ on the roll, their is nothing more infuriating then a burrito that comes undone as soon as you open it. Flavor wise it's pretty standard I wasn't a fan of the Al pastor bc the pineapples were overwhelming but my taste buds might be different then others. I ordered a burrito bowl. The rice was dry. The beans bland. The carnitas was bland too. The salad was ok. I imagine these flavors are good inside a burrito with tons of sauce. One by one, this is something i do not want to eat again. Overall. I WILL NOT COME BACK. I am giving them two stars because the food seems fresh. My husband ordered 3 ttacos and said they were bland too. The tortillas of my husband's tacos were cold. We live close by and came here for lunch on Sunday. We had great expectations. Went for lunch today as we noticed they just opened. This area needed a taqueria like this! The layout inside is nice and clean, the staff was busy but very attentive. We saw many orders for take out, pick up, and people dining in. Our food came out hot, fresh, and quick! Everything carried great flavor and was made as ordered. I ordered the Burrito bowl with half Chicken Tinga and half Al Pastor. The rice and beans were very good and really tasty. The rice was cooked perfectly. When I checked my CC statement, I noticed that I was charged more than expected. I went and talked to them at the Woburn location and was told since it was two proteins, they charged me extra for the second one, even if it was the same half portion. Nobody there thought this was strange. The exact same amount of protein, but I got charged extra for the second one? BYE. read more

It's so great to get a new spot in Woburn Center. And Dora Taqueria is off to a great start! We have ordered from Dora a few times now, both to-go and to sit in their little restaurant. Overall, everything is very good! Made to order, tasty, and fresh. Prices are reasonable and service is always friendly. They always offer "hot sauce" with your food. I'm not sure what the sauce actually consists of. The dishes tend to be a touch on the bland side; they could use some more seasoning. Maybe then they wouldn't have to offer the "hot sauce" with each meal. read more

Each time I try to give this place another chance it gets worse. $75 worth of food didnt feed 3 ppl, 3 tiny shrimp tacos, 4 tiny triangles of steak quesadilla, 3 tiny chicken tacos, NO HOT SAUCE, 1 mini sourcream and no pico, 2 soggy street corns. Don't bother with the online ordering system. I ordered, tipped, and paid online. They didn't get my order, so I had to wait. When I finally got the food, it was undercooked. Maybe the food is good when they have the proper time, but I wouldn't know. I had hoped they would contact me and try to make this right so I could try the food again, but I have heard nothing in a week. This was a take out order, maybe it is better in person, got the birria tacos- i dont live far, like 3 streets over, but they were so soggy by the time they got to my house. Also they charge 2.50 for a side of sour cream that comes in a 2oz portion cup. Kinda steep. Street corn was good. Idk maybe if i try dine in it will be better read more
