Andrea's Taqueria is my favorite restaurant in the north shore. I look forward to Burrito Friday every week (try the steak burrito!). I love the authenticity of the atmosphere and the staff is attentive and kind. It's also a wonderful place to see community and safe spaces in action. I applaud Andrea's Taqueria for creating a welcoming space, specifically for younger people, especially in a turbulent and scary time for many communities. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and I appreciate feeling welcome every time I go. read more

We love Andrea's Taqueria! The food is excellent and it's a great choice for a large group. We hosted 4 other families the other night and everyone loved it. We got the quesadillas, fajitas and lots of guacamole. This will continue to be our go to for Mexican food! read more

Andrea's Taqueria - Chicken Taco Combo - Mexican Near Me - Swampscott, Massachusetts

This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area since it opened in Swampscott a few years ago. But that ended after my last visit when I received the most severe case of food poisoning I have ever experienced. I noticed something seemed off about my burrito, but did not think much about it until hours later when I suffered the repercussions. I was sick for days. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs! read more

Just moving into the area, I heard great things about Andrea's, and I felt they undersold how good it was. This spot has quickly become one of my favorites. From the food to the service, everything is just awesome. I recommend the Fajitas or the Enchiladas, though you can't go wrong with anything else. read more

These are the best burritos on the entire north shore. literally if you're hungry, for a matter of fact if you and ANOTHER person is hungry, you ca literally fill yourselves with half a burrito and some of their fries and their fries are no joke try em with the verde hot sauce it'll change your life. this is my favorite spanish spot in town for sure, the food is so healthy you can feel it. Thank goodness for Andrea's, I'll never eat chipotle again! read more

This place an absolute gem. Super authentic and very tasteful food. This is my favorite Mexican spot in Swampscott. The owner is super nice and the service is great. This is an awesome spot to have a casual sit down or some great take out. read more

Wonderful food. They are stingy with verde sauce -- and their hot sauce will redo your inards -- LOL. Still, the most authentic Mexican food on Bostons North Shore! read more

The birria tacos are INSANE. Love every bite of them and the suace isn't overly salty like a lot of places I've been to. Definitelt get the side of house hot sauce, lightly sweet, nice kick, and tangy on the tongue. Portion was enough for 2 for lunch (4 tacos and rice on the side.) Truely a hole-in-the-wall taco spot that you should not pass up if you're in the area. And the server was phenomenal, she uber's in and takes care of you like she lives next door. read more

food is very Overpriced and such little servings, do not recommend, payed over 60+ for for two people two plates were ordered.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food and friendly staff. Highly recommend the carnitas and steak tacos - soft or crunchy shell. Definitely stop by if you're in the area! read more

Andrea's Taqueria opened a new location in Swampscott in a small strip plaza on Humphrey Ave. The place was so new at the time of this posting that there is still no signage outside on the building indicating a restaurant here, only a lighted open sign in the window. I stopped by Andrea's Taqueria in Swampscott for dinner very recently. The place is very low which offers a few tables for dine-in and takeout counter service. The menu offers the typical Mexican fare including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, nachos, tortas, and specialty entrees including seafood, steak, ribs and chicken dishes. They also cake slices and bottled soft drinks in the cooler. I sat myself at an open table upon arriving. There was one person doing everything in front of the house including taking phone orders, handling takeout orders, and serving dine-in customers. The place was moderately busy, both dine-in and takeout customers streaming in here. I ordered the Combo Chicken & Steak Fajitas ($18.99 plus tax) served with rice, beans, and salad. I was also given complementary chips and salsa as I waited. The fried tortilla chips were the crunchy and thicker kind and the salsa (not thick) was mild. The Combo Chicken & Steak Fajitas arrived sizzling on a hot plate with red peppers, green peppers, onions, grilled chicken, and grilled steak. A separate plate had the Mexican rice, black beans, and salad (iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, red onions, & tomatoes). 5 small hot tortillas were included. The food was very tasty and the portion size was good, as I barely finished everything. The service was very scattered on this visit as the one staff member was trying to multitask, jumping between takeout customers and dine-in customers, and simple things such as bringing out silverware, chips & salsa and drinks took a while to come out. read more

Tasty food and large menu as well as reasonably priced. Good for take out but a few indoor and outdoor tables.

Best Mexican food on the North Shore by far. It's the real deal and they deliver every time.

Tacos here are authentic and flavorful! We have only done takeout but service is quick.

Gave me the worst food poisoning of my life. Somebody isn't washing their hands. AVOID.

Birria tacos were as good as all the reviews said! Nachos were great, too - perfect balance of ingredients and not too heavy. Thank you for the delicious meal! read more

This is surprisingly my first time having Birria Tacos and these are hands down my new favorite Mexican food by a long shot. Andrea's Taqueria did an amazing job. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, etc thank you!! read more

Andrea's Taqueria - Birria Tacos (4) - Mexican Near Me - Swampscott, Massachusetts

We ordered takeout tonight. First time from Andrea's. I was prepared to be underwhelmed; boy was I wrong! It was delicious! we got fajitas....the steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, same with the chicken. All of the accoutrements were fresh and well-packed. I appreciate the fact that all the ingredients were separate, especially because they each had their own delicious flavor. The beans, the rice, the guacamole; all wonderful. And the burrito was perfect. No photos because it's gone! read more

Called in an order for first experience with Andrea's after having been recommended to try it. Food was ok, but although it was due to be ready, had to wait. Person at register seemed overwhelmed. She didn't know ingredients in the dishes on the regular menu...may try once again, but hope they step up their game. It was packed well to go. I'm looking for good food reasonably priced, served by employees who know ingredients in the dishes (maybe not so much if the dish is a special). Asking too much? read more

Fresh food and wonderful customer service for takeout!

Simple ambiance but such nice people and delicious food!! Highly recommend! A hidden gem for delicious Mexican and fairly priced!

Got the spicy steak burrito, which was very good. But the Birria tacos were to die for. They immediately entered my top-15 favorite dishes. Very nice people working there. This will be my new go-to Mexican place in the area. read more

I have been here a few times now. Service is kinda scattered with takeout orders taking a bit of time to be fulfilled. Other than that, the food is good. It's nice to have another takeout restaurant in this area. Overall, a good place to grab takeout on that random day you just want to walk down the street to get food. read more

Great food. Always get the birria tacos and the burrito here. I love that they give me four tacos and not three. It's a calm ambiance and the service is always friendly. read more
