Andrea's Taqueria is my favorite restaurant in the north shore. I look forward to Burrito Friday every week (try the steak burrito!). I love the authenticity of the atmosphere and the staff is attentive and kind. It's also a wonderful place to see community and safe spaces in action. I applaud Andrea's Taqueria for creating a welcoming space, specifically for younger people, especially in a turbulent and scary time for many communities. This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area since it opened in Swampscott a few years ago. But that ended after my last visit when I received the most severe case of food poisoning I have ever experienced. I noticed something seemed off about my burrito, but did not think much about it until hours later when I suffered the repercussions. I was sick for days. These are the best burritos on the entire north shore. literally if you're hungry, for a matter of fact if you and ANOTHER person is hungry, you ca literally fill yourselves with half a burrito and some of their fries and their fries are no joke try em with the verde hot sauce it'll change your life. this is my favorite spanish spot in town for sure, the food is so healthy you can feel it. The birria tacos are INSANE. Love every bite of them and the suace isn't overly salty like a lot of places I've been to. Definitelt get the side of house hot sauce, lightly sweet, nice kick, and tangy on the tongue. Portion was enough for 2 for lunch (4 tacos and rice on the side.) Truely a hole-in-the-wall taco spot that you should not pass up if you're in the area. And the server was phenomenal, she uber's in and takes care of you like she lives next door. read more

Andrea's Taqueria opened a new location in Swampscott in a small strip plaza on Humphrey Ave. The place was so new at the time of this posting that there is still no signage outside on the building indicating a restaurant here, only a lighted open sign in the window. I stopped by Andrea's Taqueria in Swampscott for dinner very recently. The place is very low which offers a few tables for dine-in and takeout counter service. The menu offers the typical Mexican fare including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, nachos, tortas, and specialty entrees including seafood, steak, ribs and chicken dishes. They also cake slices and bottled soft drinks in the cooler. I sat myself at an open table upon arriving. There was one person doing everything in front of the house including taking phone orders, handling takeout orders, and serving dine-in customers. The place was moderately busy, both dine-in and takeout customers streaming in here. I ordered the Combo Chicken & Steak Fajitas ($18.99 plus tax) served with rice, beans, and salad. I was also given complementary chips and salsa as I waited. The fried tortilla chips were the crunchy and thicker kind and the salsa (not thick) was mild. The Combo Chicken & Steak Fajitas arrived sizzling on a hot plate with red peppers, green peppers, onions, grilled chicken, and grilled steak. A separate plate had the Mexican rice, black beans, and salad (iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, red onions, & tomatoes). 5 small hot tortillas were included. The food was very tasty and the portion size was good, as I barely finished everything. The service was very scattered on this visit as the one staff member was trying to multitask, jumping between takeout customers and dine-in customers, and simple things such as bringing out silverware, chips & salsa and drinks took a while to come out. read more

Tacos here are authentic and flavorful! We have only done takeout but service is quick.

We ordered takeout tonight. First time from Andrea's. I was prepared to be underwhelmed; boy was I wrong! It was delicious! we got fajitas....the steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, same with the chicken. All of the accoutrements were fresh and well-packed. I appreciate the fact that all the ingredients were separate, especially because they each had their own delicious flavor. The beans, the rice, the guacamole; all wonderful. And the burrito was perfect. No photos because it's gone! read more

Best in the Lynn/Swampscott are for Mexican food no doubt. Everything is authentic and made with quality ingredients.

I have been here a few times now. Service is kinda scattered with takeout orders taking a bit of time to be fulfilled. Other than that, the food is good.
