Wow is the one word to describe Casa Corona!! Super hot food, giant margarita, yummy chips...everything thing was 5 stars. My new favorite place! Off the main drag in Marblehead but easy to find. Loved everything about my experience there.

This place remains my fave for Mexican on the north shore. The food is great, the service is fast and the staff is so friendly and attentive.

This place is like home. We eat at all of the family's restaurants. Tortilla Soup is a meal in itself for $6.99 The Mole is Dona Julia the mother's recipe

Bland would be an upgrade for this food. Being Hispanic and eating in many Tex-Mex restaurants, I can say this place is lacking in the flavor department. The atmosphere is amazing. Music, Decor and Service are 5 stars. My arroz con pollo had very little rubbery chicken pieces. My sweetheart had very greasy beef tacos. So we will not be back again.

This turns out to be a big nope! I was looking forward to this as yelp said 4 stars! It started out promising with the chips and salsa that had a little heat to it, but went downhill from there. The steak Paisano was so over cooked (asked for med rare and came it well done) and hubby said it tasted like dirt! He never sends back food and will usually just tough through it, but he did with this entree. The waiter was very apologetic and offered to get another but he decides to get tacos instead. Note: tacos are hard shell. The enchiladas were lacking and the chicken was so dry as was the rice which seemed like it was old. It was crunchy! The saving grace was the retried beans. Perhaps we went here on and "off"day, but very doubtful we'll be back. I give this place 2 stars because our waiter was very nice. P.s. The bathrooms (which were very clean) are very small, you almost have to sit sideways because your knees hit the wall! Yikes!

Authentic Mexican restaurant that delivers very good food at reasonable prices; Family friendly with full bar. Chips with salsa served up front and dishes are prepared quickly. We spent a little over one hour for dinner and with 2 drinks each, tab came to just over $63 dollars. Plenty of street parking and this time of year, avoid Salem.

Fajitas are amazing. Ceviche is tasty and is almost too much to feast upon. Reasonably priced as well. Well stocked tequila bar .

Use to come here very often. The food prices have gone up but the quality has only gone down. Very tiny portions now and lack of flavor.

The vodka drink is good, you can taste the vodka and strawberry, it's almost like a strawberry purée. It was a neat experience to see the "fake blood" go into the glass to drink I'm a tequila person but this was good. If only they had a margarita in bag like this, it would be good too. The food. I love taco salad, and this was pretty good. It's a big size portion too. My husband got one of the burritos which was huge but he said the taste didn't really taste like a burrito. He could taste the green sauce more than the meat and other things in it. I liked it but it definitely tasted more of the texmex side of things. Still would recommend this place!!! Will be back.

Its a 4.5.. you have all the pictures that you need already, no need to add more…read more The place is pretty good when Salem is in season, witches and things... Indoor and outdoor space is plenty and the service team is well equipped to handle the masses. We got there right in the middle of the mess and we're seated promptly. Tables cleared and they cleaned them asap to help with the rush. Love the fact that they were prepared for the mess that Salem turns when in Which season. 5 of us and food came out pretty fast too. The menu is not huge, its the same basic ingredients reused for different items. I had the steak tips with Mexican rice and beans, guacamole and a bit of lettuce. It was great. Ps add a bit of Howling sause but its not hot, well i like hot. The other adults plates were also good but with the caveat below. Its not real Mexican, its americanized Mexican.. Not Chipotle nor taco bell but you can tell as they use flour tortillas instead of corn. I know, i go to mex restaurants every Tuesday and can tell when its legit vs just good food. I'm honestly surprised by all the good reviews, do y'all not have tastebuds?…read more I love tacos. Love is an understatement. This was so off putting I refused to finish a taco out of my 3 taco meal. Played it safe, got the ground beef. The taco was greasy despite having the double tortilla layer which it had soaked through. The taco meat was very bland and there was a funky sweet taste to it, maybe because of the chipotle aioli? No cheese. No hot sauce. Between the texture and the taste, there was no way I was able to get past a couple bites. I thought the chips and salsa would be my saving grace, however there was zero salt on the chips and the salsa was just their pico de gallo. The pico was super watery and tasted like bland tomato water. No salt or flavor in there either. In addition, you can get a pretty good idea about a place's cleanliness based off what you can see going on in the kitchen. The cook was wearing gloves while scrolling on his/a phone and didn't change those gloves to make our food. Additionally, he went to the restroom with the gloves on and while he wasn't wearing by them when he came out, but it wasn't long enough thoroughly wash your hands. The staff were sitting on the stainless steel counters where meal prep is done. Just not a place I feel comfortable eating.

The one overarching adjective I have for this place is "solid." The tacos here aren't cheap, but…read morethey don't skimp in ingredients and for all of the tacos we ordered, we received solid, convincing pieces of meat. From the lobster to the shrimp to the fish, everything was so fresh and high quality that we were extremely impressed. Don't expect "authentic" Mexican tacos. These definitely have their own take on them - Baja California at times, New England lobster roll at times. But all extremely tasty, to the point I'd consider making a drive up here from Boston because the food is just that good. The real standout in our lineup today was the grilled corn. Don't miss it - we had a great time and can't wait to come back and sit in the bales of hay outside!
