Absolutely awful experience. Came in tonight with my husband and our three year old. Although the waitress was nice our order was completely wrong and turned into a frustrating experience trying to explain what we ordered. The kids menu is not correct with what it lists for items and what is on the items. The kids burrito states that you get a choice of meat with cheese with rice AND beans. States this clearly on the menu. We placed an order for two kids burritos one chicken and one beef and they came out looking like an enchilada smothered in sauce with no rice and beans. I questioned the waitress on what this was and I'm not sure if she understood what I was saying. I kept pointing to the menu saying this wasn't what we ordered. She kept saying it's the same thing when I was pointing to the MENU DESCRIPTION stating it just said it had a choice of meat, cheese with rice AND beans, clearly printed on the menu. Nothing about sauce on top. My son is three. If it came with sauce it should be LISTED on the menu as we would have said to not put sauce on it. Mind blowing. After some confusion of her having no idea what I was saying - a gentleman came over and I had to explain that this isn't what we ordered again. I asked if the rice and beans were inside the burritos and he said no. I said the menu states rice and beans and he said it only comes with one side which we didn't get either the rice or beans at this time regardless of me showing him the menu. We then had to ask for a side of ground beef and cheese for our son as he doesn't eat things smothered in sauce at three years old. Why do you have a menu with things listed that aren't correct? They also asked if we wanted rice which again was supposed to come with rice and beans. When we asked for the check she ran my card and never brought over the itemized receipt so I could see what was charged. Had to flag down another waitress to ask for the itemized copy so I could see what was charged. Painful experience. Although the staff was nice...they had no clue what I was saying or understanding of what I was saying. It's honestly dangerous serving things that aren't listed on the menu with kids and adding additional toppings without listing what they are. Very bizarre and if my kid had an allergy it would of been extremely dangerous. I would stay far away from this place if your kids have any sort of allergies as the toppings aren't listed on the menu. Will never return. read more

Walked inside and the place was hopping with people for 10:30pm. Great lighting awesome setup. Picked up my food of tortilla Soup. Wow!! I never had tortilla soup before and was it delicious. Had a bad experience with their online ordering/delivery feature, which ran through GrubHub. Placed the order and despite updates for pending delivery, the order was then cancelled by the GrubHub delivery driver. Despite the order being cancelled, we were still charged the full amount (by Toritio). Torito representatives were unwilling or unable to help us, despite the financial transaction taking place through their system. Our advice - don't use their delivery feature (through a third party) as they appear to have no access or control over those pending transactions. We had ironically placed an online order for pick up previously, and when the order was incorrect (missing item), Torito staff were unable to access the order, as their online ordering (even for pickup) goes through a third party system. If you like their food (which is really good) - visit their site in person or place a call to order food - avoid their online features. read more

The food was great! I got 3 tacos with shredded beef. Beef was tender and savory seasonings. Very juicy, borderline to juicy but the taste was so good I am overlooking it. Plenty of rice and beans. Good sized portion overall. The rice was fluffy and compared to other restaurants this side was a standout. I could tell the rice was cooked recently. I had 1 margarita and there didn't seem to be much alcohol in it. Service was fast, pleasant, and attentive. They were there when we needed them and left us together when we didn't need anything. We didn't feel rushed at all. The ambiance was nice. Real wood tables, nice comfortable chairs. We sat by the windows and while nothing to speak of in terms of view it was still nice to have a window seat and have some natural light. read more

Certain items are good on the menu, like the fresh guac. The birria tacos are good but very little meat inside. Highly suggest to never get the pizza off the kid menu, it was a personal pizza without being sliced and it seemed to be microwaved in a plastic bag as it was very watery, and rubbery. Agua chile is a hit or miss... had this dish on 3 different days. The day they make it it's fresh and tasted more like lime and chile. However if you get this dish on a day they do not make it day of, it is very very strong on onion taste. Overbearing. Don't recommend the Los dos amigos dish. Waiter was ok, however we ordered churros for the birthday person at our party, we received fried Ice cream (wasn't fresh at all- tasted like freezer) still charged for it Ahhh, and the check came for a party of 4, server tipped himself 20% so gratuity is included in the bill before you can chose the tip or to tip cash... The family tried this place tonight. I would not go back. I ordered one of the drinks that were marked down for their " Taco Tuesday" promo. when it arrived the drink was incorrect. They were very kind and remade it for me, but without asking, brought me a larger drink. I thought that was a kind gesture.. until I saw my bill and realized they charged me for the upgraded drink. I know 3 dollars is not a huge difference, however, I specifically ordered the promo drink for the discounted price. The drinks also took a long time to come out ( we had two margaritas and a chocolate milk). Our queso was lukewarm and the chips were cold, which made it challenging to scoop the dip without the chips breaking. I will say our entrees came out quickly and our food was pipping hot and of large quantities. The food all tasted great. We were hoping to order some waters once our food came out, however, once our food was delivered our waiter never returned to the table. When it was time to ask for the check, my husband had to ask for it ( we waiting 15 minutes before asking for our waiter). We then waited an extra 15 minutes to pay the bill and this was only after my husband got up and looked for our waiter, as he did not return to the table. I would like to point out that the margaritas had different price points depending on size. My husband ordered a small margarita at the $13.99 price and was charged for the large $19.99 beverage. Both of the alcoholic beverages were overcharged, however we did not want to argue over the bill, so we decided not to say anything. We also thought it was over the top to charge a fee of $4.07 just for using a Credit Card. Between the Credit card charge, the two additional alcoholic upcharges, we ended up spending an additional $13 dollars without needing too. We went here for our first time and could not believe the overuse of salt in our meals. We couldn't taste the food that looked really good. The bar tender was very nice and understanding. The manager told me they have had complaints about salt before, but our bar tender told us this was the first time for her and that she has been working there since they opened. Visited with a group of 8 on Sunday, the food from their new menu was amazing. The ceviche tower was really good and everyone enjoyed the Molcajetes which were very delicious and the portions were huge. The drinks we had were margaritas for the most part, and they were all perfectly done. They had a mariachi duo that came over and entertained, my 10 yr old had a blast with them.Our server Rosman was attentive, friendly,and stayed on top of all our needs. 1. Queso Fundido is not your typical queso with meat. Literally just melted American cheese with chicken. 2. They serve you salsa, some bean dip, and ceviche without telling you what it is. Have never seen that before at a Mexican restaurant. Had no clue what the ceviche was as the server just dropped it off and left. Glad I didn't eat it as I have a shellfish allergy and my friend said it had a scallop/shellfish texture. 3. Ordered margaritas. Didn't feel need to look at menu since we knew what we wanted. Only asked if we wanted a "regular" or large. We asked for regular thinking it was a standard margarita size and it ended up being 25 oz. Looked at menu after and there was a 15oz. Option. I really wanted to like Toronto more then I did. I showed up around 4:55 pm or so. The host told us he would seat us in a minute and proceeded to fidget around, not sure why he couldn't sit us right away. We got seated in chairs, not a booth sadly near the kitchen. After being there for a few minutes, a busboy brought around chips and salsa and refried beans. They were both tasty. A few minutes after that, our waitress finally showed up, with waters. She didn't even thank us for coming or introduce herself, just asked us what we wanted to order. My husband got the firecracker red martini, while I ordered a large peach margarita. I told my husband after ordering that the waitress didn't understand what I wanted and said "fruit margarita" instead of my peach. When I got my drink, I at first didn't realize what I got. I'm not sure what it even was, but it was a pitcher. We ordered a del Rios dips. It was a queso dip with meat. It tasted good, however was a lot thinner then I was used to. It dripped off the chips and was hard to scoop on. I ordered a del Rios quesadilla and my husband got the Cochinita Pibull. When she brought our food around I finally got to ask her about my drink. She said I thought I asked for a pitcher. I asked for a large peach though, and had pointed to it on the menu. She took whatever margarita she had given me and said she would put in a large peach margarita. The peach margarita eventually came out and wasn't too bad. A slight peach flavor. My husband's food and mine was both great! Although I do think I was skimped a bit on the guacamole. I visited the bathroom as well. The stall I was in had no toilet paper which wasn't fun. I also saw multiple people walk to the restroom with no masks on. They walked by the waitresses and none of them said anything. Additionally, I don't think any of the tables were appropriately distanced. There was a party seated directly behind my husband and I. Our waitress brought me a container for my leftover quesadilla, but it took a bit to get a container for our queso dip. We also waited a while for the check. Our waitress walked by us at least 3-5 times and did not offer us the check. It seemed like she was too busy to get over to us, or simply didn't care. The restaurant seemed to need 1-3 more waiters/waitresses. Overall, a good food experience but lacked on all other aspects unfortunately. read more

Torito is so incredibly underrated. The food is authentic Mexican and so so delicious! Huge position sizes always plenty to take home. The margaritas are massive and delicious. Servers are always kind and very attentive. It is never extremely crowded which is always appreciated but I just don't understand why! We've been to Torito twice, once last week and again today, and both times were great. As soon as we sat down, they brought us complimentary chips, salsa, ceviche, and a refried bean dip. Both times I got the vegetarian Expresso Burrito, and it was just as good as it looked (the plate is about a foot long, check out the photo). My wife had the tortilla soup and really enjoyed it. Service was awesome on each visit. Our servers (Delsy the first time, Sandra and Demas today) were super friendly and attentive. Today was a busy Sunday evening, but we got seated right away. Since I'm vegetarian, the manager, Demas, personally made sure my burrito was made without meat or cheese, and swapped in nopal (delicious strips of cactus) instead. Our meals still came out in under 10 minutes. During dinner Demas or Sandra stopped by regularly to ask how everything was and if we wanted anything. The place and people are warm and welcoming, the service is fast and efficient, and the food is excellent. We'll definitely be back. read more
